So I am a regular at Which Wich. We have done multiple orders for my organization. These orders are both catering or just because the staff wants sandwiches. Our employees pay and so does my company. I also go here all the time on my own. First thing is first, tuna is off the chain. Little bit of Cholula sets it 100% off. Food quality is amazing. Haven't had anything I didn't like. So this is why I am finally yelping. Today I really wanted a tuna sandwich. I just had surgery and haven't eaten a real meal in 3 weeks. My son and I go in, I am hunched over and first thing that happens is I am greeted by the staff so nicely. "Hi, welcome in! Nice to see you again. How are you? Are you ok? Let's get you a seat!" We placed our order and they made it so special. The who I believe is the Manager Sandra was so kind, helpful, sweet, and pleasant said "we added healing powers in your sandwich today" I have been feeling sad and going here today made me feel so great and cared for. I was here in the late afternoon during the week and there were a handful of people in the shop. The service is really slow, so don't come if you are in a hurry. The employees are obviously paid by the hour. The food was A-OK. Used to offer great service. Was early in line and got passed up multiple times. This time I went in at 11:30am before the lunch crowd thinking surely they can't be out of sandwich making ingredients at this hour. However, I was once again let down when the young lady at the counter informed me they were out of avocados. I just don't understand how they can continue like this, oh and still no French fries for a looong time now. The person who helped me at the counter also seemed exasperated with my frustration. Which Wich is my favorite for BYO sandwich-type franchises, but this location has got to be my least favorite. Sad that my usual store in Lake Forest closed down. Portion sizes are skimpy here at best, with each sandwich no bigger than my skinny forearms. Got the roast beef sandwich and a ham sandwich. Staff was friendly. They had a variety of sandwiches & options in the type of bread & also had salad options, Which I think it was amazing not much places have options. I was greeted right away by Phu he explained the menu to me & I decided to get the grinder it was delicious I was able to add jalapeños to give it a kick. I also ordered the fries and the cool thing they fry them fresh it only took 4min to get my fries they had the options in sauces!! The only correct item received was the cheezburgerwich. The kid's sandwich was a sorry excuse of a sandwich, practically empty, her kids shake was NOT included, and her chips were not included. The Clubwich was NOT a clubwich, it was a jumbled mess of turkey and bacon and thousand island (which I specified not to include even if it WAS the right sandwich). I called the store to request a refund since almost the entire order was incorrect, and a kid answers stating there was basically drama in the restaurant and a manager is only in Saturday and Sunday morning.. so they'll "do their best" to get me refund because they're manager is "pretty busy". Unfortunately I just had a horrendous experience. I DoorDash my order, which arrived completely incorrect and they forgot the chips. I always have to call to have them skinny my which, since there is not an option on the DoorDash app(would be nice to have the same options on the app as they have on the menu). It's usually not a problem. However, I called after placing the second order for my replacement meal, and the woman who answered, was very rude and indicated she would not be skinny'ing in my which, because she had already started the sandwich. I told her what happened, but the first order and that I received incorrectly and she was adamant that she would not be correcting my second order. I asked her name so that I could reference so I spoke with, and she was unwilling to provide her first name which is very odd. She also threatened to cancel my order and argued with me that the first order was correct even though I told her I'd taken pictures . I am now sitting here waiting for my second order and hoping that she does not do anything to my food which should not be how Customer feels when waiting for an order. So disappointing as I used to know, the original owner and the service was exceptional and this is my favorite sandwich place to order from. Whoever they have working there clearly doesn't care about Customerservice or really doing their job at all. I found a receipt that I had misplaced but had done the customer service survey on for a free cookie. I can buy a couple months ago to order a sandwich and redeem it and the woman working at the time said it was no problem but she was out of stock and to come by next time and she'd take care of it. Today (after being so inattentive to his store that I had to shout for his attention as he sat in the back),, Danny decided he was going to invent some new rules that aren't written on the receipt, but wanting to require an additional purchase and creating an unwritten expiration date. I came to Which Wich yesterday with one of my best friends. It was busy, but we were happy to wait--I was just excited for the Buffalo chicken sandwich. We ordered two regular sandwiches, a small fry, and a drink. Layla was so kind in taking care of us and, even though the staff was busy, we got our food in a very reasonable amount of time. The sandwiches were tasty! This would have been a 5-star review, but for a mistake with a coupon. I used the Retail Therapy Irvine Company app for a buy-one-get-one free regular sandwich. I showed it to the staff, and they promised it would work, but forgot to actually apply the coupon. I spent about $30 when I should have only been charged about $20. I totally understand the mistake--there was a ton going on, and I'm still thankful for a good meal. But just wanted to ask the staff to honor the coupons in the future. Thanks so much!
