This location SUCKS. Chilis was too busy on Friday night so went to What-a-burger, there was only 2 other people in the location when we arrived. But then almost immediately the problems started; ice machine didn't work I'll bring you your cups with ice, okay cool. 10+ minutes later we finally got our drinks. 3 burger combos took them over 20 minutes to make, and by the time it was brought to us in the dining room the food was less than luke warm. $40 for food that isn't even server hot, what is wrong with these people? I mean it should go from wrapped to table in seconds, clearly it sat there for 10+ minutes while they goofed around cutting up in the kitchen. I normally don't post reviews about fast food establishments but felt the need to do so about this Whataburger. I ordered the #1 Whataburger with med fries and added the big ranch wrap. The burger was very good and tasted so fresh. The fries were excellent and the Big Ranch wrap was also very good. The service was amazing. I was so pleasantly surprised by the food runner who has such great customer service. She made sure all the customers' needs were met and also helped clear out trays and other items after some of the tables were finished. I observed her going over to the folks waiting for their to-go orders and double-checking that they had ketchup and other condiments requested in their bags. The ambiance was very clean and the noise level just right. I definitely recommend this location and look forward to returning. read more

Be careful about this location. I eat at Whataburger locations all over the Houston area and not only love the food, but I receive good service. Not at the Willis location. Recently, they added food to my order which I did not request. The person who took my money did not read the order back to me. I found out after I paid, and the person who gave me the food read my order back to me. However, she did not offer to refund my money. I complained to Whataburger headquarters, and later received an apology from the manager at the Willis location. However, he required that I make a special trip to Willis to get my money (and he offered a free meal). That is very inconvenient for me because I rarely go to this location (I appreciate the offer of the free meal but do not need it). Furthermore, I have the Whataburger app and use it each time I visit. It would be far easier to have the refund applied to my account. So far, nothing. It's always a great choice to go to Whataburger! In my opinion the best fast food burgers anywhere. This location is about equal distance from our house to the Conroe location, but we almost always come here. It's not as crowded and the service is next to none. They have not made any mistakes on our orders in the drive thru and if they make a mistake inside they go above and beyond to make things right. They are known for the burgers, but their chicken is actually pretty good also. This location also Fuze raspberry tea, which I really like. read more

I know I know it's just fast food. And don't get me wrong. Whata burger is my favorite. But this location in Willis, can screw up an order every time. It doesn't matter how small the order is. It is only inevitable that they will mess it up. From not making it the way you order it. To completely forgetting the fries, onion rings, gravy, condiments etc. They even gave me a burger once that was just bun, nothing at all in between. But occasionally quality and consistency can vary. MY burger had the PERFECT amount of sauce, was piping hot and was not thrown together. I didn't expect my wait to be very long, being that there was only one person ahead of me before it was my turn to order. However I waited 35 minutes before I even got to the second window to get my food. when I got to the window the cashier asked me what my order was, and what sauces I wanted even though I said all of it at the intercom... Then proceeded to tell me that I could only have one sauce (I wanted ranch & honey butter). I offered to pay for the sauce that I already ordered and then the cashier gave me a confused look, said "I'll be right back", didn't come back for another 5 minutes, and upon coming back said "we are out of honey butter"...... then I waited a few more minutes (45 min wait total) for my food which looked terrible as soon as I opened it as you can see ( only 7/9 chicken bites and the few onion rings that I did have were smashed). You really need to take lessons on how to run a drive-thru from Chick Fil-e. We waited behind 2 or three other cars in line. One driver actually had to get out and go in.
