I was very excited to try this place since I consider myself a potato connoisseur (totally kidding I just love any kind of potato). Any new restaurant that opens up I tend to try the "go-to" items since that's what they're known for. In this case I chose "The G-Force" with all the same ingredients off the menu. I did order inside and went straight home without checking my order (rookie mistake of course lol), so keep that in mind as you read the review. Pros: Portions - The size of the potatoes are incredibly large. You truly get what you pay for. Service - you have the option to order at the counter or use their nifty kiosks Location - Right off S105 in the marina shopping strip Cons: Quality - It's a new restaurant and they're still figuring out the kinks, but my potato was half way cooked. They didn't put enough butter/cheese. The worst part was the buffalo bites tasted like some off brand Tyson chicken nuggets. Again, I know they're new but this potato should've been very easy to make. Price: I know I stated earlier "you truly get what you pay for" but that's specific to the potato size. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese ($6.50) and the portion size for that amount was almost infuriating. I may have got 4oz of Mac and cheese. Overall this place has a ton of potential and I will be trying it again. If you're in the area, give this place a try

Potato lovers come here ASAP. First time here and definitely not our last. The concept is pretty cool and easy to follow when ordering at the machines up front. -You pick a base ( lots of ways a potato is cooked ,baked potato, French fries, tater tots, sweet potato, etc.) -You add protein or meats if you want (it is an extra charge if you get more than 1 protein) - You add any sauces, cheeses, and toppings you want! There is a limit not sure if it's 10 or 21, but we all selected only our favorites and our portions were BIG. The service was pretty quick but it was also empty on a Saturday around 12:30pm. The place is simple with the decorations being potato pictures LOL. Some people might find the seating a little tight (as I did) but the price beat that IMO. 12.99 if you get yours with protein. Cool place and cool concept!

We spent about $30 for 2 people. The food was really good! Wish the fries were cooked a little longer but other than that AMAZING. The portion is also pretty big!

I was a tad overwhelmed at first with all of the options, but quickly recovered. lol I went with a more subdued potato, because I have to have a reason to come back. Plus the fact that I did not want to be disappointed in my creation. They have about 5 standard potatoes that you can choose from if you have an issue building your own. You can either place your order at the counter or on the 2 free-standing kiosks. I used the kiosk, because who doesn't want to use a HUGE touchscreen. Ordered and waited...the wait was not long. We took it to go and enjoyed. It was ah..mazingggg. Can't wait to try the different combos.

Yum! Yum! Yummy! Something new...Spuds Potato Bar, located in the Waterpoint Shopping Center (think they're in the old Which Wich spot). Thought we'd check them out. Hubby went with one of their signature spuds -The Grand Prix. I did a Build Your Own spud with baked potato base with Barbacoa, Garlic Butter, Red Onions, Jalapenos, Olives and a drizzle of Ranch Dressing. OMG! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The potatoes are huge and they put on ample toppings. I took half of mine home... looking forward to lunch tomorrow. Friendly staff and a very pleasant and clean dining room. We love this addition to Montgomery eateries and we'll be back!

The inside was very clean and had ample amount of seating. They also have kiosk to order at the front although the store was pretty busy during lunchtime. My food came out a lot faster than I had expected. I think I only waited maybe eight minutes, which is a good amount of time for how many people they had inside. I ordered the signature spud G-Force and chose tater tots as my potato. I couldn't wait to try it so I ate it outside in the truck and it was delicious. The mozzarella sticks are so so a tear below sonic. Take that for what it is overall the experience the food And service was exceptional. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back myself!

Why 4 stars? Because I could see this being a regular spot for us. --- --- --- I've been to a few loaded baked potato concept restaurants over the years, and this might be one of the better ones. You walk in and order on a giant touch screen, where they have basically every topping that's ever been invented. Seriously, if you can dream it, it's available for your potato pleasure. I put about 47 things on my potato and it was glorious. Especially after a very active day. The only bad thing was that my belly was quite upset with me over some of these decisions, so I spent the night wishing I wasn't out of Tums. I'm happy for these folks, as basically every table was occupied during our visit when they had been open for maybe about one month or less. We will definitely be back, and maybe I'll limit myself to a maximum of 40 toppings next time. read more

Still amazing! A football size baked potato with so many choices of toppings, proteins, sauces and garnish. If you can't construct the perfect Spuds potato then that's on you. Enough for 2 or 3 meals and every bite is delicious. Service is swift and the automated ordering machine (once you get used to it) makes the process easy and error free. Take-a-way is my preferred venue, but the restaurant is okay for a fast food style eatery. A hearty meal built to my exact specification is how it works and it works great for me. read more

Food was cold even though we live only a couple of miles away. Ordered through Door Dash. The potato was not what was ordered. I ordered queso and got grated cheddar instead. It came with Fritos that I didn't oder this time. Potato was so cold the sour cream and the cheese didn't even start to get warm. Previous orders have been good. read more

This spot is a to-go-to for us for a easy dinner date. You have the option to either use the 2 screens to order or you can order at the counter. The screen option is pretty easy to follow. It lets you choose a base ( potatoes, fries, tots, sweet potatoes with the option to get them extra crispy).They have plenty of sauce options for you to choose and you can have more than one. Plenty of options for protein, toppings and more. Its around $16 a person which isn't bad for the customization and the size. read more

This place is a small joint that has a ton of options. Im suprised theu have over 15 kinds of protein to add as well as a ton of toppings. Price is spot on for the portion, I was unable to finish my full meal. Service was quick almost fastfood speed. I bought the GForce with buffalo chicken and everything was crispy and excellent. I highly recommend you stop and try them out. read more

I saw a post this morning from Spuds Potato Bar on the Montgomery county Foodie Facebook page and decided today was the day to give it a try! All I can say is wow! I had the classic brisket with cheese, sour cream, butter, etc and the hubby had the Gforce that had buffalo chicken, Mac and cheese and sauce on tator tots. The portions are huge - I am taking half of it home for lunch tomorrow! And the cashier was as nice as she could be to walk us through the process. We will be back and I already know what I am ordering next time! read more

Food is all prepared fresh- in front of you if you sit at the bar like we did. The fried cheese is reminiscent of Corn Dog 7's cheese on a stick. So so yummy!! The hot dogs are all beef, and cooked perfectly. The buns are toasted and have a hint of sweetness that just works with the dogs. Absolutely do not recommend and if any management reads this you guys need to have a different process in place and there's no reason you should have two servers coming to the table at the exact same time talking to the guest and causing a ruckus like they did.

Big mistake. The pizza is literally dry. We would have been better off buying a pizza lunchable from the gas station.... At least it would have more sauce!

Even the beet skeptics at our table went back for seconds. Next came the strawberry goat cheese salad, and I'm officially a convert. I used to avoid fruit on salads, but this one changed my mind completely. Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and crisp greens in perfect balance. I'm already planning my next visit with grilled salmon on top. For mains we shared the chicken paillard--light, bright with lemon, and paired with dreamy whipped mashed potatoes--and the steak frites. The steak was tender and juicy, but let's be honest... those frites stole the show. Fresh-cut, double-fried, perfectly crispy and salty. I could have eaten an endless basket of them. Absolute drool-worthy. We finished the night with sharing a plate of beignets. Warm, fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was phenomenal, especially for a large group. Our server never missed a beat, and the whole team was warm and attentive. The drink menu is excellent too--great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails. The Napoleon was our table favorite by far. Petite Suzette has officially earned a new set of regulars. We'll be back later this week, and I can't wait to try even more.
