Incompetently slow drive through for the second time. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.

Slow service for delivery drivers. My order was ready, but I was still waiting for probably about five minutes, and all they had to make a drink. During that whole time I waited for the order, no one acknowledged me. I made sure to stand very visible by the pick up area, and there was plenty of staff walking around, looking for stuff to do, and not one person decided to ask what order are you waiting for, or how can I help you? This is the staff who worked on December 24, 2026 at 4:35 AM. And I mean the whole crew. The cashier guy, although he helped me, he tried to give me the delivery and a plain paper bag, I had to ask him to give me a delivery bag of some sort, a pretty moronic move in my opinion. I'm just saying if you're gonna be working in a restaurant and you're gonna be dealing with delivery drivers, delivery drivers can't be the only ones who know what to do, these workers need to also use a couple brain cells to help the process move faster. read more

Easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Paid $24 for a meal, some onion rings, and a kid's meal & never got my food. They had me waiting outside for over 30 minutes, only to go inside and be told they didn't have my order. Time wasted, and I left hungry. This might be just one site, but when ordering to pick up from the restaurant on 19th Ave and Durango, the order has NEVER been ready, worse, they could not find it. We're out of California and it was our first time here. I saw tik toks of people stating that this joint was better than In N Out. I think NOT, do not compare In N Out to this burger place. The burgers here are to simple. My burger was too flat and dry,Fries were ok. I did also get a grilled chicken sandwich and that was pretty juicy and the chicken breast was pretty big. I will never complain about the "freshness" of the food but we go through the drive thru and all I order is pancakes (guilty pleasure) we wait about 15 mins for the car in front of us but when we get to the window, the cashier tells us that they are out of syrup. I consider taking them home but she then tells us that they haven't even started to make the pancakes! Although she was very nice, the frustration definitely kicked in for wasted time. read more

Listen I'm gonna be honest. Food is meh it's whatever I don't really know why people will rate the food. It's fast food not Hell's Kitchen. I ordered a number 2 as did my brother. His food came out before mine. I didn't mind it's whatever. Then the family after me which was comprised of 8 individuals obtained their food. About 10 minutes later I go up. Ask for my order. A woman comes and brings me just my burger. No fries no anything. The Burger and Fries eventually come back. I am missing a patty. I go up once more. The service from essence was amazing, but the food on the other hand is not, I had my burger remade twice, because something was missing the first time and the second time they remade it I asked for the burger to be well done the first time and it was not well done. My burger was pink, and obviously not made fresh or well done I waited in the drive-through for about 15 minutes, and when I got to the window, my food wasn't ready and I was told that that thought I had drove off so they stopped preparing the food, I spent quite a bit of money, and waited quite a while for my food to be incorrectly, I drove home and drove back the second time read more

Good for quick kill the hunger bite, but no way and I mean no way, are they even close to in n out in the flavor and value category. They are over priced for what you get, and that did isn't all that good. Better than McDonald's but usually dry and bland. In n out for $5.50 you get a decent bite to eat that tastes good it's fresh and reasonably priced. Location is a joke when it comes to service. Recommend using a different location as this one cannot be bothered to do a decent job. Have had multiple orders messed up. Also tried to use the app in an attempt to get decent service but they still cant be bothered to give it. You will watch multiple customers enter and leave the location during your additional 30 minute wait to pick up your order. The food is always fresh, the employees enjoy helping their customers, and whenever something isnt up to par, they fix it right on the spot with no hesitation. If you're hungry, on a budget, and wanting a good, quick bite to eat, Whataburger can hir the spot. Where else can you get a WhataBurger, medium drink, and fries for six bucks. First time at Whataburger. Arrived at noon on a Tuesday and it was hopping. The line moved quickly tho. I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Burger as a meal. It came to $8.41 and arrived in seven mins. The fries were good but lacked any salt. I didn't see any available until I was ready to leave and then saw that the person who delivered my meal to my table had it but it was never offered; just ketchup. The burger was actually very good. A good mix of sweet and spicy, just as advertised. It was a rather large sandwich, as designed by the original owner/founder. He agonized over getting the right sized bun, way back when. Really good bun BTW. I'm picky about my hamburger buns and this was a really good one. Don't overlook that aspect. I will definitely try Whataburger again. read more

Worst Whataburger I have ever been to! Waiting in the drive thru line for about 20 min and the inside was closed. Finally get to the front of the line where they handed me food that had been sitting there lord knows how long because all of it was cold. I asked for a sweet tea and they handed me regular tea, when asked if I could have sweet tea like I ordered I then got three different drinks that were all regular tea again. Now I'm driving with 4 drinks, 3 useless because they didn't want to take them back. Whole experience was so bad that I actually am mad at wasting $20 with this place. This review is about this location, I like Whataburger when it's done right! I recently downloaded the Whataburger app and have been doing online orders. It has been great, my orders have been hot, fresh, correct and ready to go when I arrive. I like that I don't have a normal 5 to 7 minute wait in the drive thru waiting on my food to be prepared. I ordered my food on the app for this location today: Whatamistake! I ordered a single Whataburger no chesse and an unsweet tea. Easy right? I placed the order at 4:43am the app tells me my order will be ready in 5-7 minutes, great! I arrive at the location at 5:51am 8 minutes after I ordered. I let them know at the drive thru that I had an online order, they tell me to pull around to the 2nd window. I pull around and there is 1 car in front of me at the window. So now I'm thinking why am I pulling to the 2nd window when you could give me my food at the 1st window and I can drive away? which is what they do at the 7th st and McDowell rd location. So now I waited another 6 minutes in the drive thru for the person in front of me to drive off. I pull to the window and first I must let it be known that the girl had on a filthy black hoodie it literally looked like it stunk and then saw my food sitting on the counter, I said to the girl Gabby "I had an online order, why didn't you just hand me my food through the 1st window so I could be on my way instead of waiting on the person in front of me"? She said "we don't open that window and your food was just done right now." Mind you I could see in window 1 that the register was all lit up but you don't open that window? ok; but my single burger just finished cooking? It took you 14 minutes to complete 1 burger? I going with that is a lie. Then my iced Tea wasn't ready, she literally took an additional 2 minutes to make a large tea??? Then I saw her wipe her nose on her sleeve as I wa leaving!!!! After driving by this place almost everyday I decided I would try there breakfast. I was pleasantly surprise! I had the breakfast platter which contains scrambled eggs, a biscuit, hash brown sticks, and sausage. Very well done WHATABURGER! There apple pie wasn't bad either! I would recommend it to everyone! The quantity of food is good, but the quality and meat texture is just so horrendous and dull flavor. It's like the meat was press on machine and fast forward, I couldn't taste the meat seasoning or that grilled taste. The drinks are watered down or their carbonated soda boxes needed to be changed.
