Sorry this is long So I never ever ever had Whataburger before (I'm from Cali) my son says "oh mom you need to try it, it's the bomb". I go to store #761 on 48th street on 7/16. Order#963123 The young lady took my order at 2:01 When looking at the receipt I noticed everything I ordered wasn't on the receipt. I took it back up there to confirm the young lady said I don't know why it's not showing but your order is there (I had 6 burgers 4 on the receipt ). Oh ok So I waited, and waited and waited at exactly 2:30 she did come over to let me know she will go check on my order. But then return to let me know that they don't have all 6 of my burgers only 4. Well damn!!!!! Didn't I say that? At this point I just wanted my money back. It will take another 30 min and I would be there an hour waiting for food. Should've went to In&Out. I call my son tell him what happen he says your going by a different one try that restaurant which turns out to be Store #535 on 19th Ave. Order#519786. I remember a person telling me that if in AZ to go here. He used to have his friend bring him the burger when he would come to CA. I had to try out the place. Well what I can say that after experiencing In-N-Out, this place is so-so. I would like a hamburger place that actually serves a burger that looks like the picture. I waited at the drive through for a good 5/10minutes before someone else pulled up and the drive thru cashier proceeded to take their order before mine. I pulled up to the window and she decides to not apologize then acts completely condescending towards me. Manager by the name of Swar took really good care of us and apologized for the whole situation. This is the slowest whataburger I've ever been too. 20 minutes in the drive thru at 530 am with only one car ahead of me is ridiculous. The burgers are always great but it never fails that when I go through the drive through they get my order wrong. Also, they charge for ranch which I think ridiculous but I don't mind paying for it but it's happened multiple times where I purchase the ranch and they forget to give it to me. They acted like if I were a refugee begging for asylum. Terrible experience. I am from Texas and I grew up in Whataburger. I am a truck driver that came to Phoenix and I couldn't get a burger. I was asking the two young girls how I could order a burger. The dark-haired girl said I couldn't pick up anything at the drive-through. I told her I knew that because I had a rig and I ask her if I could order online and pick it up curbside. She panicked and called the manager I guess. I have not had much of Whataburger but I did enjoy it whenever I had a burger from them, unfortunately tonight my opinions on the company and their management have changed. I called this location to see if they offered corn dogs. The young lady working there assured me that they did and I informed her that I would be there later for a corn dog. When I got to the drive thru there was a fellow in his vehicle just sitting there. After a few minutes of a whole lot of nothingness I decided to pull forward to signal to the guy that I was getting agitated. He then rolled his window down looking completely stoned out of his mind said a couple words to the voice machine and then pulled over. It was then my turn to order, when my girlfriend and I got there my girlfriend asked for the corn dog in which another young lady answered that they did not serve them. I was lost for words. Maybe I had called the wrong number? I looked up the address and saw that I was at the right place. I asked the employee what their phone number was and she said "I don't know it, we haven't had any phone calls In the last 2 hours" I then proceeded to call the number again multiple times and there was no answer... Ordered online and went to the location. As soon as I arrived I go pulled into the mobile pickup area and nobody attended me. I then went through the drive thru after waiting for 5 minutes and I told the person I had a mobile pickup and she said something but I didn't hear her. I then asked what she had said and the drive thru girl said " I said pull to the side" with attitude. We asked for a specific type of cheese on a patty melt and they didn't put it on the burger. Stopped to get some breakfast before work. 2 cars at the drive thru window no one at the order boards. Pull up wait a min and place my order, watch the two vehicles at the window get their food then drive off. I then proceeded to wait, the gal at the window didn't even open the window or anything until almost 25 mins into the wait. First time to ever try Whataburger. To my surprise the whataburger was delicious. The drive-thru was a bit slow, but it had to have been due to a huge order from the car ahead of us. Once that car was gone, we were served very quickly with hot food too. The server at the window was pleasant too. Thanks for a great experience. Being from California, we don't have whattaburgers. Another tradition as I leave Sky Harbor and head north in AZ. I can't get green chile burgers in my town, and these are big and beautiful with lots of chile. This last time I was here, though, the gal behind the counter assured me I wanted the green chile burger meal and I didn't check that out thoroughly enough. So what I ended up with was a double burger with cheese and chile (plus fries and a drink). No, no, no. I wanted a hamburger with one patty, no cheese, and lots of chile. Clean dinning room, easy parking. I got the JrWhataburger and medium onion rings $4.02. Had I noticed the limited seasonal menu that included a pineapple milkshake I sure would have ordered that too! I originally wanted to kids meal but the Jr Burger includes some veggies so I don't feel so bad about skimping the diet plan - they also will make an Barq's Rootbeer float if you ask with the vanilla icecream and the fountain rootbeer. They make it however you want it it's pretty great to have one near by again wish they'd make it further out west but I guess In'n'Out would be a huge competition.
