I saw some really cool items on the menu but the calorie content almost gave me a heartache. So I chose to try just a double meat whataburger and to add cheese. The burger was ok but it wasn't anything to write home about. Please someone explain the hype... I ordered my nephew a kids cheeseburger meal and he didn't even eat it. I did think the kids meal was a good value for the price. Let's say I drove past a million of these restaurants during my trip and I never had an inkling to try it again. First they had no change so if your bill was $2.05 and you gave them $3 you paid $3. Service is extremely slow. One person at the counter lots of people in the back running around like chickens with their heads cutoff. Stay away there are plenty of other Whataburger around that are actually ready for a busy day. read more

Literally the worst Whataburger I've been to in terms of wait time. When you have to wait a half hour in a "fast" food drive thru, you would at least expect to get hot and fresh food. Instead, we sat there for 30 mins, had 4 cars BEHIND US served before we did, then received cold food with a patty melt sitting at the bottom of the bag that was so soggy that it ripped a hole in the bag. It clearly was sitting on a counter for so long that for that to even happen. HOW do you even wait that long to get cold food? I just can't wrap my brain around that. My first whataburger experience for a actual burger. This location needs some work on speed and service it took about 15-20 min from start of drive thru line to actually getting food which is not fast food at that point. I didn't love the whataburger sauce on the burger but the burger was more Flat and different than a fast food burger. The fries were okay. It seems like since a Chicago conglomerate purchased Whataburger, customer service and efficiency have declined a bit. Went through the 2-lane drive-through at 3:30 in the afternoon. Cars were in front and behind me. I i could not leave, I was literally in line for 35 minutes. After I got my order it was incorrect and the food was cold. I told lot attendant that gave me my food and he smarted off rudely. I drove around, parked my truck went inside and I gave my order to a young lady behind the counter. I told her that my fries were cold and I was missing part of my order. She picked up the bag and threw it in the trash. Didn't say a word. The order was corrected was then given to me. The food of course is still good if the order is correct and hot. I recommend going into the restaurant and picking up an order there rather than going through the drive-through. read more

This is by far the worst whataburger I have ever gone to. Iv been here a handful of times and I don't know why I keep coming back. The orders are never correct. Either that or the food is so low quality it's not edible. Soggy buns, forgotten patties, raw French fries, you name it. Every time I've visited this location they have left something out of my order or given me the wrong size when I've ordered a larger size.

Lately we've been having so many issues with this Whataburger. Today was extra crispy fries that were barely cooked, a mobile order that took an extra 15 minutes after showing up to the location, and lemonade that was diluted with water. The absolute worst service ever! My family and I have ordered food from this establishment several times and often there are mistakes with our orders(i.e. fries are missing, we get the wrong drinks, burger prepared differently than what we ordered) but we never complain. Nobody is perfect and we can understand that. Yesterday when we arrived at the drive trough we were asked to pull forward. A young lady delivered our food and immediately we could tell that the bag was too lite for the order we had placed, but she walked away too quickly to hear is calling at her. So we pulled around and my husband went inside the restaurant to let them know that half our order was missing. The manager simply told my husband "we train our employees to check their orders, so I don't know what's going on here, but your food was in the bag" and just like that, we had to pay for our food twice. Terrible service. Ordered food through doordash around 1:50 am and my dasher was waiting for over 30 mins for the food even though it was not busy. People normally get fast food for a reason but nothing was "fast" about this location. So it is my last night in Dallas, and we need to grab another late dinner at around 11 pm, it came down to In And Out vs. Whataburger (very anti-climactic). Since I just had In And Out a few months ago, and haven't had Whataburger since forever, we decided to drive to this location for some good ole' burgers. I got the Double Meat Whataburger and the Chicken Fajita Taco, and I was pleasantly surprised. Both were huge and fulfilling, with plenty of meat (yes!). The counter guy was friendly, food came out within 10-15 mins so no complaint there. Overall, it was a solid meal for the price, and I am happy with my exp here. We went inside and there were no fewer than 6 employees, so short staffing is not the issue. This is a recurring issue at this location, just drive to another location and save some time. I have always been a fan of Whataburger. The longer I am away from it to better it tastes when I get the opportunity to visit. I go with the classic A1 Thick & Hearty. No lettuce or tomatoes for filler. Straight up 2 patties, cheese, bacon, onions, and that A1. For breakfast I enjoy that honey chicken biscuit. That bad boy on point. Yo---they stopped serving the A1 Thick and Hearty. WTF Whataburger! That new joint in its place is wack. Overall I was very impressed with the service here at this establishment. Not sure if this is the status quo or if I just got lucky. Cashiers were friendly, they brought me my condiments (standard) and they even picked up my tray. The manager, Christian, came around asked how the food was and even offered to refill my drink. Not sure if they are taking a page out of Chick-Fil-A's handbook, but carry on. This location is slow always! Car just sitting around waiting on food, and then once you been in line waiting for food, you would think the food would be hot n fresh...that's not the case. Food is cold, so I don't understand why it takes so long to server cold food. They give you the drink then have you pull-up to wait for someone to bring out your order, and again the food is cold. Now the drink is watered down, because really why do I need my drink if I don't have my food...makes no sense. Bring everything at once, you not doing us a favor giving us a drink and then having to wait another 15-mins for your order. Horrible experience. Ordered 2 free whataburgers with coupons. I kept asking where my order was. Lady bringing out orders told me that she would get my order for me. However since I wasn't supposed to be in drive thru (didn't know that) manager Liz wouldn't make them. I'm 70 yrs old and disabled . I had to go in, and this woman making burgers was talking trash. Short, African American, fake red hair or wig. She glared at me because I was fussing about being mistreated. Her male coworker told her to just make my burgers. He gave me fries for my trouble.
