I had pretty high hopes after seeing some of the reviews. The first time I came, they were closed when they were supposed to be open based on their reported hours. I still gave it another chance and came in this afternoon. The place is standalone building in a semi sketchy parking lot. And I usually love dives like this My order was taken by a woman at the window. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and some chicken nuggets with fries, the lady got it wrong and gave me the combination for the burger along with the chicken nuggets and fries when I didn't want it. Not a huge deal, but my order was wrong and I ended up paying more. Came home and took a few bites out of the burger. The burger was a huge let down. The patty was worse than that of a frozen microwaveable burger. The bacon was paper thin. And the bun was dry and unimpressive. The chicken nuggets were also pretty bad. No flavor. I think I'd prefer McDonald's chicken nuggets. The fries were probably the best part and they were just simple crinkle cut fries with some seasoning on it. Safe to say it was not worth what I paid for it, and I won't be back. read more

we made an online order because it said they were open and obviously our order went through which means it took our money just for us to go pick it up and it's closed! although it said it was open and it doesn't even have any holiday hours! On the windows it had its hours and it said they closed at 9pm. The food is good but not putting that you're closed and letting orders go through is unprofessional asf! read more

Been driving by this place for years, and finally had to give it a try. Got a double cheeseburger combo, which comes with fries and a can drink.... All for around $9. My order was cooked fresh , so it took about 10 minutes.. which I don't mind at all if it's cooked fresh. My order came out steaming hot, the fries seemed like the were hand cut. The burger itself was of good size, with all of the ingredients fresh. Although the patties seemed a bit thin, they were bigger in diameter then normal burger patties. Hence the decency of the size. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the fries did not disappoint. I saw on the menu where they sell street style tacos, nachos, and a Nortengã burger. Would I try this place again? Yes!! It was late Sunday and my wife and I were on our way to another restaurant and passed by Burger Town and she said "Oh my you have to Yelp that place it looks like some place you would love". However I was on a mission to go to my destination. When I got there, they were closed for the night....so back to Burger Town. It isn't much on decore, but high on charm. Everything was made fresh to order. The tacos looked good, but both my wife and I settled on the Hamburger Nortena. It has beef, ham, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato and a whole lot of yummie. Listen, this place ain't pretty and it ain't in a pretty part of town, but they offer good burgers with a side of seasoned FRESH fries and a cold drink for only $8.50. I ordered the nortenas burger which came with ham, crispy bacon, pepper jack cheese, smashed avocado (like a mayo sub), red onions, mustard, and tomatoes. The patty itself is thin but larger in diameter than what other places offer. I liked the burger because the cheese was spicy (yummm), juicy (not greasy, there's a difference, folks), and there were a lot of flavors going on in each bite. Was it the best? My first thought at the menu was, damn they're high! But I like to try new places & I love places that specialize in a particular thing so, let's try a from burgertown. So I went for the double meat double cheese to make sure I get a full double dose of flavor. It didn't disappoint, this burger was huuuuge. And the flavor profile was special too, my only gripe was I could tell the quality of patty was on the low end, but you can also tell they put quality in doing everything else ! What pushed this establishment to 3 stars were the tacos I ordered, which were good but nothing to write home about (for tastier tacos try El Paisano in Dallas or El Tacaso in Oak Cliff). Ordering was a headache since I ordered three tacos and named off what I wanted each one to be and the person taking my order kept asking me if I wanted three of each. I kept having to repeat myself until she finally understood. They only had two drink options so I opted for no beverage. Tried to order a side of tator tots but when the woman asked "what's that?," I was through. Come here if you are too far away from a better taco place (which I was) but be ready to break down your order and don't expect the person taking your order to know what's on their own menu. read more
