Flavor: it was a well seasoned burger that was not overpowered by the ham or pineapple. The pineapple was grilled and added a tiny bit of sweetness to the burger. Don't let the photos fool you. The burger looks great! The fries look great! However, the fries are salted or seasoned too much. The hamburger just doesn't seem to have much taste to it, but enough of a taste for me not to like it. My last visit to Burger Island was about 8-10 years ago and at that time, my biggest problem was the price of the burger and second biggest problem was a lack of quality. This time, I felt the price was just fine, but the burger was just as bad. Such a shame since I live just down the street. So customer service needs help. There was a woman at the front counter who seemed very flippant and nonchalant about talking to customers and taking orders.
