I'd read and heard that this place makes a great burger and they didn't disappoint! It is easy to find with Google, has a decent parking lot and is exceptionally clean for a small hamburger restaurant. They have a huge menu with many burgers that caught my eye, but a simple cheeseburger was what I wanted. I was in rush so got it to go. The meat patty had the absolutely best sweet caramelized flavor! Nothing special about the plain fries, but oh that burger is worth more trips back! I found this little spot that is about 2 miles from my new job! I love finding little gems that have some of the best food. I am a simple girl that loves just a cheeseburger with mustard with a side of fries! This burger came out so good! The burger had a nice crust on it and the buns were toasted just perfectly with the melted ooey gooey cheese and fresh hot fries! The Patty Melt, Bacon Bleu Burger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Onion Rings, Chili Cheese Fries, and the Chocolate & Banana Funnel Cake are all some of my favorites that I'd recommend. Found this little gem while searching for restaurants near my office building. The restaurant is small but cozy. It was clean and the guys behind the counter were super friendly! I get a cheese burger with bacon added. My husband got the turkey burger and my friend got the jalapeño bacon ranch burger. All came with fries that have an amazing spice on them. Thanks to Yelp, I knew to expect Space Burger to be a tiny hole in the wall. Don't let appearances deceive you. It was a good meal. I made my dinner selection-- a bacon cheeseburger with fries, a drink, and batter fried cheese sticks. At first look my burger was disappointing. I saw a frozen, pre-made hamburger patty with turkey bacon. I did not expect much taste at all. However, I was presently surprised with my first bite. Flavorful and juicy! All the vegetables were super fresh. The hamburger had a juicy, meaty flavor-- not smoky or char-grilled, but simply put, beefy. Not a big burger, not thick, but flatter, and a little smaller than a CD. The overall burger flavor was satisfying enough to not need salt or pepper, but I really couldn't taste the turkey bacon. The bun was soft, but didn't have sesame seeds like the menu picture showed. I really wanted onion rings but they were out, so I opted for the crinkle cut fries. I'm not a big fan of crinkle cut fries, but they were deep fried nice and crispy, which made them quite delectable. As for the cheese sticks, you can never go wrong with cheese sticks! Just got delivery; a classic burger and a burger salad. The classic burger (supposed to be medium rare) was raw in some parts, literally like a mushy tartare. I have been skeptical - Space Burger is a hole in the wall in an unprepossessing strip mall. But appearances deceive: my daughter and I tried it on a whim tonight and loved it. My patty melt burger hit a home run. It's served on Texas Toast, but don't be a purist: the TT was fresh, nicely buttered and lightly toasted. The patty was very fresh-tasing, grilled just right, and with the onions and two cheeses was served piping hot and melted in the mouth. My daughter had an avocado burger, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were also fresh-tasting and seasoned very nicely. We tried a funnel cake dessert and it was quite good. Not a bad bite all evening. The menu - ten or more burger styles, but also sandwiches, fish plates, and hot dogs - offers a lot of possibilities. There are perhaps four or five tables in the place - it feels cozy and very local. If you like supporting independent operations/small businesses, stop at Space Burger. Top notch eats. I never leave poor reviews but I must because of what I experienced at this location. I came in, ordered the turkey burger combo, and waited patiently as my food was being prepared. I noticed that the employees were not wearing gloves but didn't think too much of it UNTIL I SAW THEM TYPING ON THEIR PHONES IN BETWEEN PREPARING MY BURGER. One guy literally grabbed lettuce with his bare hands, started playing on his phone again, went back to grab some tomatoes with his bare hands and placed it on my bun. Phones have been proven to be dirtier than toilet seats so the cross contamination is disgusting. I mentioned to one of the employees that I noticed them playing with their phones and touching the food and politely asked him to put on gloves. He obliged. Then, when he gave me my food and I sat down to eat he told me that I couldn't stay and that I had to leave because both he and his coworker were leaving to take a lunch break together and needed to lock up the store. Needless to say, I ended up eating my food in my car in their parking lot. What a humiliating and distasteful experience. read more
