I've tried this place a few times, and while the service isn't rude, it's not particularly friendly either. The interactions have always felt pretty cut-and-dry--don't expect many smiles here. I've tried the wings with fried rice, catfish and fries, and a few other items. The wings have good flavor, but they're a little too small and crispy for my personal preference. Also, if you're watching your sodium intake, be prepared to request light or no seasoning on your fries and wings. The seasoning blend definitely brings the salt! They do have a small dine-in area, which I've experienced, but I personally prefer takeout from this spot. One thing I'd love to see added is a fresh vegetable option or two. With so much of the menu being fried, a refreshing side would help create a better balance. Not everything needs to be deep-fried! Surprise find. Place is clean, even the bathroom LOL but the star of the show are the wings which I find to be super moist and perfectly seasoned (Lemon Pepper FTW). Everything is cooked to order so it does take a good 10 minutes or so. I'll call and order ahead next time. While waiting I met the owner and he said he had just bought the place from the previous proprietor last month. He takes pride in that the meats are always fresh and never frozen. I finished all my food in one sitting and that's rare for me. Jamaican Jerk & Honey Garlic we're the flavors i picked. They were both pretty good. The only complaint i have is that the wings needed more sauce/rub on them. They were fried to crispy perfection. The fried rice was very okay, it would be nice if they develop some special sauce to go on the rice. I put some of the honey garlic on my rice and it took it from a 7 to a 10! I ran across this via Yelp and was intrigued. Fried rice and wings? I love both!!! I can't believe nobody thought of this before! So I set off during lunch yesterday to find this gem and to put it short, it was great! First, the location is unobtrusive. It's in a strip mall in a little slot but it's easy enough to find. Once in, they do have a table for dine-in, so that cool (life slowly getting back to normal) and the lady at the counter was nice and friendly. Fairly large selection of flavors for their wings, but I chose the garlic and lemon pepper wet with vegetable fried rice. And it was awesome! Good fried rice, heavy brown with plenty of soy sauce. Their combo came with 2 pieces of fish (whiting, catfish or tilapia), 5 wings, fried rice and a drink. Bro you cannot beat that. For the combo, I opted for tilapia, 5 hot lemon pepper wings, fried rice and a lemonade kool-aid drink. Listen the whole meal was bomb but let's go item by item. The tilapia was fried just as asked, hard. I loved that it came with a lemon but i could have used some hot sauce. The hot lemon pepper wings were divine! I have tried hot lemon pepper wings before but no one has seem to get the sauce right. I wish this place was back home. And again my wings were fried hard as asked. For it to be plain fried rice (no meat), it was really good. The kool-aid drink was just as delicious. Sooooooo good. The staff was really nice! I'd kept calling because grubhub didn't allow you to choose the flavors and the type of fish. After a few call backs for clarification (and she was great was for each), we were able to give our flavors over the phone once she received the order from grubhub. I rarely leave a review for anything, and even more rare that's it's good. But this place has the best wings I've had in a long time. Bone in wings are huge. I've tired a few of their sauces and they're all excellent. The honey garlic pepper sauce is incredible. Sometimes I'll get the combo of wings and fried rice and eat the rice the next day. The rice is good but they keep it pretty low on salt and spice and then offer soy sauce and chili for u to do it urself.
