This is the second time that I've ordered pizza for pickup and the second time they got my order wrong. First time I called in and ordered for pickup, they forgot to make my pizza and apologized and started it when I got there. Pizza was ok. Last night I ordered 2 different pizzas and they made one pizza twice. I waited for them to make my other pizza correctly. They did give me all 3 pizzas for the price of the 2 that I paid for which was nice, however, all 3 pizzas were overcooked. Basically they were dry and tasteless. Ordered take-out. Service was good and the staff was friendly when I showed up. Pizza was also ready on time - a plus. However, this pizza just was not for us. It was a little heavy on the sauce and light on the toppings. Between the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings nothing really stood out to us. Not sure if we will give it another go. We were pretty loyal customers until I called this evening to place order for carry out. First I was placed on hold for almost 7 minutes. Then once the kid went to take my order I asked about redeeming points for a death by pizza and wanted fresh tomatoes. He says he needs to ask manger. I tell the kid I'm ok with paying. The manager gets on the phone and says in a sarcastic tone- you asked to speak with me? I said no I didn't ask for you I just wanted to know about adding tomatoes. He then says how many points do you have? I said 18 he says, well you have to have at Least 20 points. This manager is Rude for no reason!! I was on hold a total of almost 20 min between when I called and when this kid pug me in on hold for the manager I never asked for!! I hung up and decided to eat at our local garbanzos. First time having Westside Pizza this weekend and was not disappointed!! We had the BBQ chicken on thin crust and wings!! Outstanding!! The pizza was cooked perfectly, the chicken was delicious and the BBQ sauce was tangy and delightful. The wings were big and not overcooked, which seems to be difficult for some places. We got the hot sauce and ranch on the side for dipping, so good. Now I of course want to try every variety of pizza! Super friendly family run place. #SupportLocal and give it a try! Not sure how this location has 3.5 stars. We always order and dine local, but we are absolutely done with this location. Of the half dozen times we've tried it, 100% of the time they either get something on the order wrong, or it takes far too long to cook and deliver a pizza only 1 mile. Super duper pizza parlor worth the drive from any place in the Treasure Valley. The staff are really great and smiley. The place is clean. The Dr Pepper fountain lever sticks. A few arcades. It's cozy. Not tons of room but by the table space is plenty for friends. I've eaten here twice. I'll go back. Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. If you're not paying attention you'll drive past the side street that gives you access to the driveway and parking lot. The pizza is good enough to eat the entire thing at one sitting. This was our first Westside Pizza, and most likely our last. Here's the scoop: Pros: tasty sauce, decent crust, friendly service, fast delivery Cons: minimal toppings. There was literally one piece of pepperoni on each slice. The mushrooms are chopped into little pieces and just melted into the cheese which was minimal as well. With so much competition out there for pizza, you need to have a better game than this. read more

This is an absolute great Neighborhood pizza place. We live in Middleton and they are the first and only place to deliver to us. I would drive for the pickup if it lacked quality but this is great damn pizza!! Also great service. We had a problem. Delivered us on time but the wrong order. They re-delivered the correct order which we felt terrible about. They exceeded my expectations in resolving this! Final words. Keep these guys in business! They are better then any chain. They Deal with things right! Small town food pizza. And for the love of god if they make a mistake don't take advantage of them. But you better re-tip that driver if they come out. They deserve it! Don't screw this up Star/middleton. Make it your weekly Friday pizza place. Thats a legit review from a real customer. These guys used to be so great...but for the last year or so, pizza has been very ho-hum. Nothing new and deliveries are running so late. I ordered dinner at 7:45....its now 9:29 pm....no food. They said they left the shop 40 minutes ago. They did this last time also....then stopped elsewhere...food was cold....I give up. I tried to give them another chance. We have often gone to Westside Pizza after our soccer games, and the kids love the video & arcade games and toy prize machines. Thank you for this awesome family friendly place to eat! We've been going here a lot more than I'd like to admit lol. I love the garlic chicken pizza! Just make sure you ask for thin crust. I'm not sure why but on pan crust it just doesn't taste the same. Many people in Star are moving on from Pizza Hut to Westside Pizza. The customer service is always amazing, delivery is quick and food is great quality. They don't just have pizza either, they also have pastas and salads and if you go into the location you can also enjoy a glass of wine. The actual location has a relaxing vibe to it as well with games for kids and comfortable tables. read more

Was told that the pizza here was pretty good. Thought we would give them a shot. Ordered the Westside Pizza extremely unremarkable pizza bland taste. I really don't understand why nearly 90% of the pizza places don't spend any time creating a decent sauce for there product. It's all about the sauce when it comes to pizza especially this time of year with fresh herbs and tomatoes available. Yum! My folks live in Star and like to support local businesses. We were in the mood for pizza and decided to order takeout from Westside since none of us had tried it yet. We were able to place our order online very easily and it was ready in about 20 minutes. My mom and I shared a medium veggie, that we created, and my stepdad created his own meaty style pizza. We just moved to Star ID and I needed to feed a bunch of our moving helpers! I was ordering multiple pizzas and the server who took my call was So nice and professional, during our conversation I told her we were moving, when the delivery driver showed up she had a big stack of plates, forks, cups and napkins for me! I didn't even think to ask for them. That is going above and beyond for sure. Westside Pizza will be our go to from now on because of their special attention to details. If I had written this review 1 hour ago, I would have given this location a 3, "average". We had unfortunate timing tonight. I can attest that tonight's service was not the norm for this pizza company. We placed an order, was told it would be delivered in 35-45 minutes (which, even though they are farther away than the Middleton pizza company, was the "norm" we've experienced for over a year. The pizza is always good. We don't mind waiting an hour for it - truly. So, after an hour went by, I called. Just to see if there was an accident or a huge uptick in orders causing a delay. The young man that answered said my order just left and would be delivered shortly. Another hour went by, I called again. The manager got on the phone. Did a very fine job of taking the call, explaining things, apologizing, but said the order had been missed. As we were talking, a nice young man rang our doorbell, pizzas in hand, and a great big friendly smile. He had no idea we had his manager on the phone. Pizza was delivered, at no charge (excellent way to solve this issue). We gave the driver a tip. Bless his heart for doing his job. A little while later, we hear the doorbell ring. It was the manager, coming to personally apologize. There is hope for the future... there are people that understand the value of customer service. My first experience is not a good one. Orders thin crust pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. When the pizza arrived it was squeezed to one side of the box like it was dropped. And it was cold. I did speak to a manager that offered to replace it, and i declined. Instead of no stars , I will give two because the manager did what she could after the fact, and after a short blast in microwave, It did taste good........updated my review because the manager and delivery driver made it right in the end. read more

Over the last few months we've ordered take out from here. The last two or three times we came in there's been two to four teenage boys( I'm assuming employees) since they were wearing black logo shirts on, standing around outside smoking, skate boarding, playing loud music from one of there cars. When my wife went in to pick up the pizza one said something to her making her feel very uncomfortable. I suppose we could have it delivered and avoid all this, but I'm not sure they even deliver to Middleton, and my wife and I both work in Eagle and it has been easier to just pick-up on the way home from work. With this unmanaged restaurant I wonder about the quality of the food. We won't be ordering from here again. To bad the owners are blind to this, or maybe they just don't care. read more
