He took our order, delivered our order, got us take-out containers and more. My Bombay Chicken Pizza Level 3 was delicious. Full of flavors and hot. The vegan cheese is okay and if I could, I would like to provide the Pizza Twist with these helpful hints. To get the vegan cheese to be meltier, let it sit out at room temperature. My husband and I have driven by the Pizza Twist on Broadway a handful of times. Conveniently, we were in Meridian running some errands and saw this Pizza Twist. We took it as a sign and decided to grab a bite to eat here. It was around 2 when we came and it was pretty quiet. We came after the lunch crowd but before dinner. We were greeted by a nice gentleman behind the counter. We breezed over the menu to see what we wanted for lunch. I honestly only wanted some meatballs in marinara sauce. My husband wanted a calzone and not a whole pizza, we thought that the calzone would be a better portion since we would be having dinner in a few hours. So the meatballs and meat supreme calzone got ordered. My husband did comment that our order seemed pricey. For a side of 3 meatballs, a soda and a calzone it was about 30 bucks. To me, I agreed with my husband. We did ask for a receipt but never got one. We hung out and chilled while our food was being prepared. The venue was clean. The music was going and created a fun vibe. Before we knew it our food was ready. My meatballs were nicely cut up into bite sized pieces. There was melted cheese on top. The meatballs were tasty! The marinara was tangy and fresh. It wasn't overwhelming with herbs which was really nice! The meatballs could have been a little hotter but the temp they were at was still nice. My husband's calzone was piping out the of the oven hot! It was loaded with all sorts of goodies and marinara. I of course took a bite and it was delicious! The breading was crusty, the cheese was so melty and the variety of meats in the middle was fantastic! It was a huge calzone and we ended up taking the other half home. We had a great meal here today. The calzone was delicious and my husband is looking forward to eating the other half for lunch tomorrow. I polished off all my meatballs and know what I will be getting the next time we hit this joint up again. Looking forward to another great meal is we are in this area again. read more

Found Pizza Twist in my online search on pizza places. I have also seen the store as I was driving in the area. Came here because of the good reviews. It was a Friday about 1 pm. The place was empty, which we liked. During our 30 minutes dining here, only one other person came in, and it was for take-out. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad to share. The bill was $23. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The gentleman at the counter, who I assume is one of the owners, was very nice and attentive, asking if we wanted extra salad dressing or anything else. We had water to drink, and they serve it with glasses and a large glass carafe. The pizza was some of the best I've had. The salad was good, nothing special. When we were finished, we asked about the "Pizza Twist", which is essentially non-traditional with Indian flavors, like tandoori, curry, bombay, and marsala. These sound very interesting, and he said we could ask to taste the different sauces prior to ordering the pizza. We know we'll be back and we think we'll try one of their "Twist" pizzas. I love eating at Pizza Twist! Sure, you can order the traditional pizzas they have but you should really be trying the pizzas with the Indian twist. My favorite is the lamb pizza. I switch between the lamb pizza and the lamb calzone (pocket is what I think they call it). Some days, I order their wings with Indian spices. The wings are plump and juicy. The best part of eating here is how I feel after. I think most of their stuff is oven-baked so it's not heavy and greasy. The owners are always welcoming and friendly. An awesome "Twist" on pizza! An Indian twist to be more exact and it really is amazing! Lamb Kabob pizza? Yes! Curry veggie, paneer? Yes! So many great options along with some tasty "normal" pies. I'm not vegan but if you are you probably already know that Indian cuisine offers great vegan dishes. Not only is the food great, the service is as well. We have ordered delivery once and have walked in for pick up once. Both times were a 5 star experience. First, they have SO MANY interesting pizza combinations, different sauces, and crusts. Plus you can remove or add whatever you want, so customize as you like!! For delivery, it was first time trying their pizza. I only found them because I was searching for a good vegan place for pizza, which is very hard to come by around here. Anyway, I was intrigued by their flavor combinations. There were traditional pizzas, chicken, Hawaiian, etc, but also a lot of vegan and Indian-style pizzas, too, which I have never experienced. My husband eats everything, and at the time, I was vegan, so I tried the vegan tandoori BBQ pizza on vegan/GF pizza crust (yes, vegan crust!). It was petty good! Any time you're using that many vegan products, it's going to taste vegan. Let's face it, tofu doesn't taste like chicken. Regardless, I enjoyed it. I really liked the spice in the BBQ sauce and the texture of the tofu was on point. That's why I went back a second time. By the way, my husband had the tikka masala pizza (chicken) and it was non-vegan and delicious. He has also had the Bombay Chicken Garlic and enjoyed it as well, but I'm pretty sure he enjoyed the tikka masala chicken one a little bit more. Just sayin'. The only thing they could do to improve this place is upgrade all of the ingredients to cleaner versions....organic, free range, etc. It will take you awhile to get through all the different pizza combos, so I suggest you get started. :) read more

Ok Place. Nothing special about it. I felt like the large Pizza was lacking substance. In other words, it was not filling, too light weight. The 3 of us ate the whole thing with nothing left over and it wasn't because we were super hungry. Most pizza places we have half left over because the pizza's are heavier. Been wanting to try this place for a while. Well.. we finally did tonight and it's absolutely delicious! We a chicken balsamic salad tonight and decided pizza would be a great side, especially for the kids. We all loved that it wasn't greasy and the pizza was the perfect amount of crunchy. We had our first experience at Pizza Twist yesterday for dinner and it won't be our last. We might even go back tonight! It was so good! I had the wings, 6 count and they might just be the best wings I've ever had. My husband ordered the chicken BBQ Pizza and it was sooooo good!!
