I came here two months for a oil change and to fine out why my engine light was on. They told me it was my temperature sensor. I made appointment later to get that fix and oil change. When I get there they tell me that I need to pay for the part first and that it will take a week to get. I paid for it and I waited a week to call they said that it was never order and that they had no record of me paying for that part. I called and told them that I had a receipt. Called back they found the part it did not have no name on it. Had to make another appointment to get it fixed. After a month of waiting for the part and for it to be installed it is still not working. Now I wonder if they even changed the part. read more

Easy and fast. No complaints. My second Kia I have bought from them.

Made an appointment at 3pm for an oil change and came in 10 mins early for my appointment. Its is now 5pm and they still haven't brought my car out. What's the point of them having you make an appointment if they will still take 2+ hours for an oil change. No one as come out to apologize for the delay or anything. Bad customer service. read more

Customer service was terrible! I have owned a Kia product for over 10 years and this experience has led me to another brand. The finance manager humiliated me in front of several customers and treated me like a low class citizen. The dealership had a out of date deal for a vehicle on their website and when we came to purchase it they would not honor the deal. I am still in shock that a business would speak to a customer the way I was spoken to. I have never been so mortified in my life! read more

Fast friendly service. Quickest settlement I have ever experienced with a car dealership in Houston. At three other dealerships, Ford, Lexus and VW it has taken two or more hours just to sign the paperwork. This was fifteen minutes. Also the deal struck was the deal advertized online, how rare is that? No bait and switch or hidden conditions for a refreshing change. read more

I had kindly and helpful attention. The salesman found the best option for me. Nice place and nice people.

We recently bought a used Kia Sportage (8,000 miles) from Westside Kia and have mixed feelings about the whole experience. We love our car (about $14,000) however the service was conflicting. During the test drive we were told there was a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty, when really they meant a 60,000 mile warranty... The car came with Sirius radio but no one could tell us for how long. They did not have two sets of keys or two clickers and we had to come back two separate times to get them (??). Finally, I was called about three times a day by one of the salesmen to please post a review on google.com .... I wasn't feeling it, especially not the glowing review that he expected. Felt a little creep-ed out by the experience and the uncertainty of what was actually included with our car. Car is great, service was weird. read more

I purchased a used Kia Sorrento 3 weeks ago that came with only one key fob. Two weeks ago I ordered an additional key fob from Westside Kia. I received a call within a few days saying that it was in. I told the parts person who I spoke to that I would be to have it programmed. I was not told at that time that I needed an appointment for the programming. I stopped in on my way home from work on Friday, 11/8/19, to have it programmed. They started the process of programming (without an appointment). About 30-45 later I was informed they had received the wrong key part that is attached to the fob and would have to order another one. They offered a discount on the programming when it came in and I was understanding about the mistake. Earlier this week, I received a call saying the correct part was in. I told him that I would be in either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning to have it programmed. Again, I was not told I needed an appointment for programming. I went in this morning at 8AM, Saturday 11/16/19, to have the fob programmed. I was asked if I had an appointment (remember that I did not have one the prior week when they took me in without one or that the parts person did not mention that I needed one). I told him that I had told the part person that I would be in Friday or this morning. At that time I was told the parts department doesn't always convey that information and that it would be at least two hours and they try to "fit me in". I wasn't too happy as I was not told that an appointment was necessary for the programming. This is my first Kia and first interaction with the Kia service department. So far... unimpressed. read more

CROOKED PEOPLE!! didnt like it.. they aare crooked, they told me my drive out was 31k with a down of 6500, i signed the contract with that price, but my apr was high. they said to come back next week to finalized and re-sign because they will try to find a lower apr since it was saturday and banks were closed. When we came back, they said they lowered the APR and the montly price. I was so happy but later on after comparing the first paperwork that I signed and the recent one, I came to find out that they increased the price of the car. I came back and talked to the accounts manager, he said atleast I saved you 2500 as far as lowering the APR and montly payemtn. But Still it shows that the car cost 42k in total. That was not even a brand new car, there was 2k mileage on it. CROOKED!! Please go to a different KIA. They take advantage of people just because they know we are first time buyers and do not know much about car buying! Again please try another KIA not this one!! read more

Ray did a wonderful job in helping me pick out a vehicle after I found out the car I wanted, Soul, was too small. The Sportage was nice and within my budget. He was very patient with me and not pushy as some salesmen are known to be. Nice dealership too!!! read more

Back after only 2 days for an update. The previous oil change we got at Westside Kia the window sticker they put on your windshield said to bring the car back after 5k miles for the next oil change. The new sticker they put on states to bring it back again after only 3k Miles ???? So call the dealership where we actually purchased the car to find out if its 5k or 3k. Guess what ? it's 5k. Then the service guy asks me if I would like to bring it in. "It's only $29.95". My daughter was charged $54.94 at Westside Kia. They may not be very good at doing oil changes but it looks as if they're really good at ripping people off. read more

Went to Weatside Kia to trade in my Sorento for a Soul and Willie and Fabian took good care of me. Left with a top of the market Kia Soul I got $3500 more then what I owed on my Sorento, a way better interest rate then before and was able to make a good deal for the Soul and had some good laughs with some good people. I would highly recommend Westside Kia as the dealership for a good buying experience because we all now how stressful those can be. read more

Purchased Kia Soul. This review is not about the car. The car is great! Salespeople are just that sales people. If you don't know how to negotiate on price, you will pay way to much! Also they force service and repair coupon book on you when signing contract ($600), not discussed during negotiation. If you don't want it, they will try to negate negotiatied price and say deal is off. Financing department will rake you over coals as well. Try to get your own loan prior to bargaining. If not, make sure they finance you through a big bank and not the chessy small never heard of ones they will push on you. If we did not know how to negotiate with car dealers we would have paid at least 10-20% more than we would have to. Always let them know you have a better price elsewhere and see if they will match. read more

I found the car I wanted online, and sent a message to make sure it was still available. The next day, Rick Hall called me to let me know it was there, and he had another one as well. I waited a couple weeks before making an appointment to come in. Rick pulled the car I was interested in to the front just as I pulled up. I took it for a test drive and was sold. Rick took care of everything and I drove my new car home. Thanks for a great experience. read more

Called Jason Taylor, one of the salesmen, told him what I was looking for. My daughter and I headed out. When we got there, Jason was waiting on us with exactly what I wanted to look at. Two hours later, my daughter drove out in her new Soul, beyond happy. Very pleased with the service we received from Jason to the finance manager, Wally. Would I recommend this dealership, absolutely. I have bought several KIA's during the past 12 years. Love KIA products and will continue to buy them read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called and set up an appointment for my sister and SPECIFICALLY told Cheryl the four vehicles she was interested in. We drove down and she was not there nor were the other two people I was told to ask for. We were handed off to another salesman. After a twenty minute wait for him to "find" the vehicles he came back with something totally different (a small car NOT the suvs she was looking for)and told us that the others were either sent to auction or sold already even though they were on the website that morning! ALL FOUR VEHICLES! MAGICALLY SOLD WITHIN THREE HOURS OF MY CALL! My sister is a widow and on a very tight budget which I informed Cheryl and the waste of gas and time was frustrating to say the least! Horrible people! Would never recommend this place! read more

The customer service sucks. I waited all day for an oil change. My appt started at 9am and I'm still sitting here at 3:30 pm waiting for them to finish my car. At the beginning of the visit the service tech explained that it would be 2 1/2 - 3 hours before the car was finished. The only time someone check in with me was once telling me that my car would be done within 10 mins and that was an hour ago. I am very disappointed pleased with this visit and also the lack of consideration of other people's time. I highly don't recommend this establishment and will not be returning. read more

JENNIFER IS THE WORST... I called because I needed service on my KIA Sorento.. have newborn twins and my check engine light came on..I really needed help... JENNIFER in service answered the phone and I explained to her I really needed help and have my check engine light looked at and what might be the problem. JENNIFER was not caring or understanding at all.. I explained to JENNIFER I didn't want to break down on the side of the road and if she could get me in as soon as possible.. she said that the earliest she could help was in a week...I begged and pleaded to please check with the shop or her supervisor to see If I could get in sooner. I was willing to be there anytime of the day...she refused to ask anyone and JENNIFER kept saying it would be a week from today, next Tuesday... l have been coming to Westside KIA for years and always had helpful, kind, and caring employees willing to go the extra mile..NOT JENNIFER..she was the opposite... so I hung up and called a few minutes later...this time I spoke with Jacob and explained to him the same exact situation I was in.. he looked up my account and saw Sebastian was the mechanic that worked on my KIA..Jacob transferred me to Sebastian and he looked at the schedule of jobs he had and where he could fit me in... he told me "How does tomorrow morning at 8:30am sound" he said that it was no problem and he would be happy to help...JENNIFER IS THE WORST... I can not say enough good things about my experience at this dealership!! Buying a car is stressful and time consuming. My experience was neither. I reached out to them via online and someone called me within an hour. My salesman was as singed to me and within a couple hours of sending him what he needed, he had us approved for a brand new car!!! We came in the next day and although my husband was a little picky over some details of the car, our salesman Rick Hall remained gracious and patient. We literally walked in this dealership at 12:55pm and we're back home at 2:02 with our new car with 13 miles on it! If you are looking for honest, straightforward people, this is the place to go! Good help from Chuck. Received a ride to my house and back to the dealership when my vehicle was done being serviced.

The service at Westside Kia was awful, I made an appointment Friday afternoon because my gearshift in my vehicle locked and I wasn't able to take it out of park. I took my vehicle in and explained to the Service Advisor my situation. He told me that he would take a look at in and give me a call to let me know what was wrong. I never got a call that day so I called them and they told me that they haven't even looked at the vehicle, that they will have to look at it on Monday. I needed my car for work and I told them and they told me that they would see what they could do. Monday came, I called them twice, no answer. Wednesday came, I spoke to the receptionist and asked to check the status on my vehicle. She told me that she was new there and she had no idea what was going on with my vehicle. I tried to speak with someone in charge or the manager and he/she was never available. The service advisor that was responsible to check my vehicle was never available to speak with either. I just got my car back today, I went in to pick it up and I told them I was there to pick up my vehicle. Whoever I spoke with was very rude to me and asked if someone called me first, he gave me my keys and a report and walked away without a word. He didn't tell me what was wrong or anything was fixed and didn't give me the opportunity to ask. This was the worst experience ever, I will never get a vehicle from Kia again. I recommend you get your car elsewhere. read more

i took my car in for a tuneup and the guy told me that they would have a rental car for me because of the time it would take to do the tune up. i did schedule a week or so before and when i got there they had no rental car and i had to wait for a van to take me to work. I was about 45 minutes late. They called me and told me that it didn't need all the work that was scheduled for the tune up. They told me that it needed a new battery. I told them that was fine to put it in.I did inform them that i got out of work at 7p.m. and needed to be picked up.when i got out of work there was no one there to pick me up . I had no way to get my car from them. I called them 10 times got transferred to a voice mail to the shuttle service that was closed to the service department that was closed back to the shuttle service and i went round and round. Finely i asked to talk to a sales person. I asked to talk to a manager.he said that he would put me on hold and get a sales manager. I asked him not to be put on hold for all the crap that i went through just to get to talk some one. Before i talked to the sales manager the guy that set up the service i called him and he told me to call uber to pay them to have them pick me up. the manager sent one of his sale people to come and hick me up. the sales person told me that the service guy worked to uber. when i got my car not every thing was done. they wanted me to take it back the next day. i took it home and said that I would be back the next morning. On my way back there I stopped to get gas and my engine light came on.i knew that would not passed the inspection they could not figure out when it would not go off. I got there about 8 am and at 12 noon i told them that i had to be at the airport at 2. my car was still not do. they took me home so I could go get my other car to get to the airport to pick up my family.about 4pm i called them to see if the car was done. they informed me that i needed to driver it 100 miles to make sure the engine light stayed off. i told them form day one that my car was going to california. I had to work the next day so my family drove the car as close to the 100 miles and took it in for the inspection. They was leaving that morning for AZ and then to MI and then back to California. when they did the tune up i told them not to touch the air filter. going through AR they went through a dust storm. there plans got changed and just went back to CA . when they picked up the car and took off on I -10 the hood was not latched down.they could of recked and killed them or others. When he got back to CA he was going to clean the headlights, he lifted up the hood and the air filter set on the top by the radiator. He took it to the dealer out there and also found out that there was 3 bolts missing. This review concerns the service department. I made an appointment to have the driver's side headlight checked. It was not working. My wife took the car in. The folks she dealt with were rude and tried to sell her a bunch of services that we didn't need. I spoke to the gentleman on the phone and explained that we didn't need the oil or filters changed because I had just done that recently. He told me that neither of the headlights were grounded properly so I told him to go ahead and fix that problem. Fast forward a month and I noticed that the driver's headlight was not working. I made another appointment. Again, my wife took the car in, and again they were rude. First they said there was no record of the appointment so she called me at work. I explained the problem and was told that previously they had only worked on the passenger headlight. I told him of my conversion with the gentleman previously and asked why both headlights were not repaired the last time. He said that according to the work order, only the passenger headlight was repaired and that we would have to pay $89.00 to have the driver's headlight repaired. I told him I had the extended warranty, He said he didn't have any information on that and asked ME for the phone number to check on the warranty. I gave him the number so he could do HIS job. After nearly an hour, they finally took the car back to the service area and nearly 5 hour later, it was finally repaired. Long story short, I will NEVER take my car back her for service again and I strongly recommend that nobody else take their car her for service. read more

Always a pleasant experience, my car is always taken care of, Chuck great help as always as well as other team members!!

Worst service department I've ever seen. Had our vehicle for five weeks for what was supposed to be a 2-hour no charge recall service. Then they tried to charge us over $1,000 for a repair because the car would not start, even though we brought the vehicle in perfect working condition originally, and said that it was our responsibility, not theirs. Had to have the vehicle towed to another shop because I did not trust them to touch the car at that point. read more

Kia's reputation as a builder of high-quality, long-lasting and very safe cars brought me to the dealer, and the excellent folks at Westside Kia did the rest. I would NEVER have seen myself in a Kia, until I took the test drive. Rubel Chowdhury was my salesman, and he was top notch. Great guy, very polite and professional and didn't push AT ALL (my main complaint with other dealers during my search - pushy sales guys/gals). He didn't try to tell me why other cars didn't measure up to Kia, he made the case for Kia and when all was said they had more to offer at a better price than anyone, and I did some thorough research. Can't say enough about Rubel and how much he helped me out - go find him and you won't regret it. The rest of the sales team as courteous and professional and helpful as you could ask for. The people at Westside Kia bested my high expectations and the car has been beyond my best hopes for how well it has performed(the two main reasons why I'm talking time out to write a glowing review). I got an unbelievable deal on a beautiful car. Kia is a brand built on safety and reliability (based on what I had found in my research, and my experience thus far). Their gas mileage for all models was as good as any dealer I looked into. But it is only in the last few years that the design changes have turned their look around to sleek looking cars that look as great as they perform - so forget the Kia of the past and check out what they've got going on these days. One year later, and my Kia Sorento is one of the finest investments I've made. All regularly scheduled maintenance has been through helpful staff (from appointment planning to the free car wash when they're finished with your vehicle) and has been without incident. I have yet to do anything besides the regular maintenance because NOT ONE THING HAS GONE WRONG with my Sorento. It rides smooth, it gets unbelievable city mileage and it has plenty of space for passengers and cargo. All features are outstanding and it even has an iPhone-ready input to charge and work your music/phone through the steering wheel or stereo. Westside Kia - Professional, courteous staff selling outstanding cars - go see them during your search because you will not have done due diligence until you have. read more

I am the owner of a 2011 Kia Optima from Westside Kia. All of my service and maintenance is done there. I rate the service as excellent. The service manager, Mark Adler, has followed up with my repairs both by phone and in person.
