They are my go to mechanic when I personally can't get it done!! They answer questions I have even if they aren't doing the work which tells me they don't need my business. The gentlemen who assisted me this morning and their overall customer service, attention, and expertise that I was given was nothing short of impeccable care for their customers that I so clearly experienced today. I was a walk-in who arrived promptly at 7am simply needing an oil change and renewal of my registration. They made me aware that it would be roughly three hours until they would be able to assist me and tend to my vehicle, which was not a problem in the slightest. I completely understood due to my knowing that I was unable to obtain an appointment just from their demand and customers who had planned ahead accordingly. They were so kind and even made me smile in the early morning, which I truly believe is going to set up a positive day ahead for me. It was a mere hour and a half or so when they gave me a call notifying me that my car was ready to be picked up. I of course was not expecting their readiness to help me so quickly and efficiently and it was a breath of fresh air, to be honest, simply due to my previous experiences at other auto shops I had been to before. When I returned, once again, they were immensely gracious and generous during my checkout and even went as far as to give me some tips and pointers without making me feel small or ignorant. Again, in my previous experiences with me not knowing a lick about cars whatsoever, more likely than not would take the opportunity to take advantage due to my lack of knowledge. This was most definitely not the case here. I am immensely thankful and grateful for their generosity and respect they showed to me, not to mention their efficiency. I would not recommend!!! I've been a customer for the past 8-9 years, mostly because they're located at the entrance of my neighborhood, not because of their customer service. Today is the last day I set foot in this establishment. Two days ago, I went in for an oil change. One of the two men at the reception desk advised that his "guy" has just gone home (it was 3:30 on a Monday). I am aware that businesses are slow on Mondays and so I accept what he's told me although, I observe that there are other men working at the time. He even goes as far as to look up my information in their system to ensure that all needed material would be there when I brought my vehicle in the next day. Well, I was unable to go in until today. I walk in and one man is there to greet me. He is one of the two men I met on my prior visit, however we did not exchange words on that visit. He proceeds to ask me how he can help me..I advise that I need an oil change and he tells me, with a straight face, I might add, that his "guy" went home sick. I remind him that a similar message was conveyed to me two days prior and he had the most idiotic look on his face. I then advise that I will be going else where. I do need to add that all garage doors are open and there does not appear to be a shortage of workers. Im truly perplexed, but I will not beg an "establishment" to take my money. The owner "Ralph" hung up in my face when I asked about my vehicle. If it had been a week since I dropped it off and I called seven times I understand but I called in total 4 times in the entire 3-4 weeks that my car has been there. They lied about how long it would take multiple times and it wasn't until I had my brother and after talk to them that they gave a halfway truth. They told me it would be done Thursday over the phone but when my dad shows up in person to check and make sure they're starting on it they had just began and was rude to him as well. My car was not shifting gears, so I brought it to the closest car repair shop. Highly regretting that decision. My car sat in the same parking spot for 3 days. I called multiple times a day to get updates, because they lack communication. I understand they are busy, but not communicating with the customer is a big problem. I was first told it would be looked at and fixed by Thursday. Then told on Thursday they needed to order a part and would be here Friday and latest Saturday. Called both Friday and Saturday, but part had not arrived. Waiting til Monday at 11am to call and was told the part had still not arrived. I said we will be going on a week without the car, granted only needed one cable repair. Do not take your car here if you want speedy service, communication, or honesty. I think I wouldn't be as upset if they were upfront from the beginning and the communication was better, but sadly no. read more

Go here if you like being lied to. These people tell everyone it will only take 45 minutes to an hour. After 45 minutes they still hadn't taken my car back. Dude says oh he's pulling one around that he just finished now and yours is going back. How would he know that since he never left the desk. 5 minutes later my car was still were I parked it. I don't mind waiting if you tell me an honest estimate of the time I will be waiting which would have been 2 hours NOT 45 to an hour. Came for an oil change and they said it would take about 45 minutes. I was waiting and killing time anyways so I agreed to stay. They have a large waiting room with a TV and magazines to read. He didn't know what kind of oil my car took and since it was new I didn't either. Took awhile to figure it out but then he talked to me about it and how the price would be more. They were very nice and friendly. If you need to drop off your car they offer a shuttle service. He checked some other things on my car and gave me a couple recommendations of things I needed but wasn't pushy about it at all. I will be coming back as they did a good job and got me in and out in about 35 minutes. read more

Recently went in due to smoke coming out the exhaust of my wife's Murano, wanted a diagnostic check, and a simple oil change. Glen was great in explaining what he thought it could be and some of the things to be done to the car without having a diagnostic check. Instantly saved me $60, he went on to educate me on everything from the type of gas to use up to the maintenance that could prevent this in the future. I was pleased with the time Glen took to speak with both me and my wife and how forthright and honest he was (hard to find nowadays). We discussed what needed to be done and what would be nice to have done. I appreciated this as we didn't want to go broke after one visit. Very helpful and offered me a ride home :) read more

Went here because of all the great reviews. Went in personally and talked to one of the managers, Eric, about getting rotors and brake pads replaced front and back with my parts, all I needed was labor. He estimated around $150 then took out a calculator and said $146.50. I said great and told him I would bring the truck in. I just left and paid $311!!! Apparently that was $146.50 per axel. I told him he never mentioned per axel and then apologized for me misunderstanding. I feel completely taken advantage of!!! At one point he said "it is what is it " after apologizing several more times that I didn't understand. I will continue to go across the street to Car Care USA. Super nice. I'll definitely go back there and tell my friends to also. My car windows got stuck in the down position. I checked the fuses and that wasn't it. I ordered a new control panel, took the door off, installed it myself and that didn't fix it either. So I gave up and took it to Long Meadow Car Care. They told me that I could save a little bit on labor since I had already knew how to take the door panel off myself. They had me at "save". Car was fixed in a day at a reasonable price. Went in to get an an inspection but got a 1600 upsell on what was wrong. Decided to go elsewhere and got charged 100.

They are super friendly and don't try to upsell you. The waiting area is also nice and comfy .

This is not your normal shop; it's clean and comfortable and the girl behind the front desk is there to greet you as you walk in. She was the only one behind the desk at the time and even with people waiting and the phones ringing she did do her best to meet everyones needs. They also have cookies, coffee and bottled water for their customers. I went in for an oil change and for them to check my brakes (which was free) I asked her to have them to rotate my tires as well since it hadn't been done in a while. Price was reasonable for what was done. What surprised me is that although I was there for a simple oil change and tire rotation; they took the time to look over my car and recommend work that I might need to get done soon. Although she told me it would be 30-45 minutes it seemed like a perfect wait time for what they did. I left there with a quote for a few repairs to keep it on the road. Jennifer was knowledgeable about what work was a priority and what could wait, how much it would cost and how long it should take. Outstanding service! We planned on dropping off 1 car because the check engine lights had come on. While we were running errands in the other car, the power steering went out! We were able to drive that car to Long Meadow, where they not only drove us home (with a detour to WhataBurger to pick up lunch because we were starving!), but then came back to get us and take us to the shop when car #1 was fixed! Car #2 needed a lot of work and after giving us honest advice based on our circumstances, we were able to make a good decision about that. Donny H was honest, up front and so easy to work with! Earl was gracious and kind and funny and very patient and kind! I highly recommend this shop for car repair, and I will definately be taking my cars there and nowhere else from now on! I got their flyer in the mail and figured I would be needing an oil change before we went to Lake Charles. Came there on Friday morning around 8:30 almost... owner there was very nice. They had a waiting area and an area for coffee and freshly baked cookies! It's a great location as well since you can walk across the street and get your Starbucks fix. They were done with my car in about 45 min...the wait wasn't too bad at all. Oil change and tire rotation came out to be under $35. Great deal and service! read more

Took my car by for oil change. Staff informed me of the price for a synthetic oil and the manufacturer recommended oil and then told me they usually suggest using the manufacturer recommended oil as the synthetic is more expensive and the recommended oil is completely suitable. So many places push customers to purchase higher end options they don't need.and often don't explain that synthetic isn't required in the majority of vehicles unless the manufacturer specifies it. Appreciate this kind of integrity these days. Definitely use this shop again. read more

So, I'm currently in the parking lot at this car care service. Very nice on the outside, not seeing that there are vehicles to be taken care of (such as waiting for oil changes etc...) it's about 15-20 minutes until they close and I go in to ask for state inspection and oil change. There state inspection process is done for the day (no problem), so I ask the attendant (seems like the owner), if we can do an oil change then. His response,"can't do oil changes, we are closing in fifteen minutes". Talk about customer service. This is actually the first time I have done a Yelp review, or any review at all! I really like to take the benefit of the doubt. But,I have to say that this experience here really got under my skin. Sorry I have to do this, but I wouldn't want anyone to experience what just happened to me. I hope they can change the customer service for the better. read more

We tried this place out for a simple oil change when we moved here. They were so great and I hate going to these places bc they always treat me (a girl) like I'm stupid and try to up sale. Didn't hurt that the guy kept saying my baby was cute! We've been again for my husband's truck and they called us to tell us his tires need to be replaced, we asked how long they have left and he was super honest and said we could still wait a while. Didn't push us at all and called before thinking to touch them. Totally new man at the office on this last visit, again said my (all over the place) toddler was adorable! Let her have the run of the place while I chased her around. When she got noticeably tired he offered to take us home and pick us up when the car was ready. He fixed my car right up. Came back the day after.. With my daughter... With our truck. This one took a while. He came out and said we can run lots of expensive tests and have it here all day OR we will try a couple of things (trial and error) to see why the check engine light is on. First trial, he told me to run and fill up with premium, that the truck needed to clean up. Eventually going half and half. We were there for 2 hours, he didn't charge me anything saying "they didn't really find out what was wrong" bring it back in if the light comes on. Well the truck is running smooth and my husband has said the rough noises have ceased on his commute. Needless to say, they are awesome and I won't go anywhere else. read more

One rainy day in June of 2017, my car's battery decided to randomly give up on me after a shift at work. Luckily for me, these guys are but a hopscotch or two away, so I strolled on over by foot to see if I could find some assistance (since no one at my job could help jump my vehicle.) I came in timid, worried, and looking like the saddest twenty year old--who has never changed his own tire or replaced his battery--has ever looked. There were two guys at the service desk where one person was tending to customers and the other was on the computer looking rather quite annoyed at something on his screen. After about three other customers were helped, I approached the desk to inquire how much a jump start would cost me (lol) and the guy (who looked just a bit older than me) thought about it for a second before deciding he would just help me out. I almost cried. Almost. It was pouring rain at a decent rate and he walked over to my building without an umbrella in hand and helped me out and told me my battery was pretty much almost done for after jumping it. I went back into my store to fix him up a drink for his help and was honestly just grateful that there are amazing people out there who have great, kind hearts. If anything, I'll now be coming here to get my oil changed and any other maintenance my car requires (and thank them properly) by purchasing a service. Thank you Long Meadow Car Care! read more

My friend and I were driving on the Beltway on Saturday night and we heard a scraping/dragging sound on the ground. It scared us but it was 5:30 PM and most of the car care places around were closed or so it looked like to us. We happened to notice Adam, with Long Meadow Car Care, outside doing some maintenance to a refrigerator so we pulled in in hopes that he would direct us to someone in the area. He said that even though they closed at 3PM he would be glad to take a look at our car. He immediately put it up on the rack and determined the plastic protective cover on the bottom of the car had broken off and was dragging on the ground, he repaired it really quickly and when we asked him for the charge, he said that there was not a charge and he was happy to help us. He said "Just give my company a nice review" and that is all we want". We were perfectly capable of paying for any repairs. I don't know about you, but it has been a very long time since any one I know has ever had that done. It was a wonderful giving act of kindness and something that we will not forget for a long time to come. I will recommend Long Meadow Car Care to anyone that will listen. A couple weeks later I took the vehicle in for a tune up and presented a coupon and the price had increased. Glenn and his workforce provide the most outstanding car service anyone could ask for. Very attentive to detail,very honest. I will never go anywhere else. One cannot find this type of acumen elsewhere.
