I've always had good service at the Grand Parkway location without extremely long waits. They honor long term agreements to maintain tire rotations and maintenance when needed. Complete car care is offered but I've never gone beyond tire service. The cost of basic tire repair is very reasonable. read more

Getting tires and alignment from here is fine. Anything else, they will charge you an arm and a leg. They tried to convince me I needed all of these services on my car- they even wiped my oil stick dry and took a picture to "prove" I needed an oil change, but I got it done the week before. I took it to two other mechanics who all said the same thing, Firestone will rip you off. Nice guys, but they are salesmen trying to get a dime out of you. Had a low air warning light on. They came back and told me that 2 tires had nails in them that couldn't be fixed because of where they were. They showed me pictures but I have no idea what car they were taken on. ( very suspicious.) I had no choice but to get 2 new tires. I had road hazard protection on them but the amount they deducted from the new tires seemed quite low. They should actually show you you're tires where the nails are. read more

I had my truck in for a tune-up and injector clean and these supposed "service advisors" charged me $39.99 for each spark plug (8).. the very same SP548 Motorcraft Platinum Plugs can be purchased for $80.00 for a COMPLETE SETOF 8 PLUGS at any auto part store around...and maybe cheaper. I have had my last bit of service done at this Firestone for sure. The service advisor was Brett and when I questioned him about the price, all he did was quote me some higher prices they charged for some other plugs. If this is Firestone's pricing policy for a tune-up...I wonder why the price for an oil change is not the same. Their oil change charge is in line with what the oil costs if you buy it yourself...with a REASONABLE uplift in the price to include labor. read more

Came in because a screw had entered my tire. When I got there, the guys on duty to repair the cars weren't even working, all they were doing was listening to music. The lady up front told me that it would be at most an hour of waiting, and it ended up being two. I dropped my car off at 12:20 for a oil change l. they said it would only take 45 mins. I came back to the store at 7:20 pm an they where still not done with my OIL CHANGE. that's 7 hours they had my car an still weren't done with a simple oil change. they said i'm sorry ma'am we didn't start working on it until 5 pm which still means they took 2 1/2 hour to change oil. don't understand why you don't have appointment times or get to customers car within a reasonable time. i'd give it no stars if I could. read more

Whatever you do, add at least 2 hours to the time they tell you that your car will be ready. A simple oil change, 1.5 hour wait. I comeback 2 hours later and they tell me it will be another hour totaling 3 hours (double the amount of time that they told me)! On top of that, the representative acted as if I was inconveniencing him by asking about the status of the car. They are usually in the garage, and they'll see you come in through the windows but they make no effort to assist you in a timely fashion. There are way too many other auto repair/servicing options nearby to ever return here or recommend them. read more

I have been to this location several times before for the same task. This time there were several issues that were the result of the tech. Only task was to balance new tires and do an alignment. I do this twice a year at the same location. All of sudden today there are issues with accomplishing this work. Mind you nothing physically has changed. On top of that, they loaded my tires unbalanced in the back of my truck, so I had to reload them in the parking lot. I had a flat at 6:58PM..they close at 7. I called and James Torres told me to come in and he'd try to help me. He asked his tech, Nathan to stay behind after hours to help me out. I had my car serviced there a month or two ago. Last weekend I went to take my wife's car to get new tires put on and discovered I did not have my wheel lug lock key. I called Firestone and they said they had a box of them and I could come by and see. Well they weren't lying there was a good size box 1/4 full of locks that had been left behind by techs. We tried a few and then found mine. I asked him what the deal was and he was pretty nonchalant about the whole thing, not even offering an apology after I explained that my wife was 8 months pregnant. To me this is a serious matter to happen so often. If I had not discovered the missing lock a simple flat tire could have left my pregnant wife stranded. Shame on you. I contacted corporate and was told THREE different times someone would be in touch with me within 48 hours. This company is a disgrace. read more

Took my car in today and Kristen was my Tech. I've never had anyone take the time to so articulately inform me of the issues with my car. For the first time in my 40 years of driving did I not feel that I was being ripped off for a car repair. I found her to be knowledgeable and trustworthy. Took my. Jeep Wrangler in for a/c service. Was sold the $99 system check. Within a couple hours I was called and told I needed over $1900 worth of repairs and that all the hoses were leaking. Needles to say I did not have it done. I took it to Car Care USA and paid them for the same a/c service. They cleared the refrigerant lines, refilled it and checked for leaks. They could not find any nor could they find any parts that needed replacement. A/C is now working great with no new parts or repairs. It only needed the lines cleared and vacuumed. I won't ever trust my repairs to Firestone again. read more

I am seeing a trend with this location that if the ticket involves only warranty work (low or no charge), the quality and effort applied drops significantly. Just recently, I came in for a tire repair that was covered under road hazard. I asked for rotation, balance, and air check, all of which is suggested by Firestone for tire warranty. The vehicle was ready quickly, so I asked if all the work was done. The technician indicated that the wheel of the repaired tire was too dirty to balance so he did not perform the rotation, balance, or air check on the remaining tires. He told me to go to a car wash and clean my wheels. It seems if I am not paying for a new set of tires or a mechanical service, the effort is reduced to a minimum. What is the point of a warranty if this is how it is honored? read more

So after I went and got my inspection done at Driver's Auto Care off of Mason, they told me I needed to flush out my transmission fluid and brake fluid. They were quoting me $409... I said oh my husband told me to look for a better quote! And thank goodness I did. So after getting quotes from Christian Brothers and Dillion's Automotive, I looked into Firestone. Low and behold they quoted me for $295, and then I found an online coupon for buy one service get the other one 50% off...so $247...not too shabby compared to $409! BUT then unknowingly, I had a coupon sitting on my counter that I had saved for an oil change here...I flipped it to the back and saw another coupon, $100 off of a $250 service. Score!!!! So I came to the store and showed them the coupon and they honored it...$188! That's pretty good extreme couponing for auto service if you ask me. I had no problems with them. They were all very nice and courteous. It took them a little while to do my car but I'm sure it was because I dropped it off so they took their time. Happy customer! Thank you! read more
