Came here on a Tuesday around 4 for a car inspection, called in advance and they don't take appointments. I was told it would be about an hour, and luckily it only took around 45 minutes. Waiting room is very clean, chairs are comfortable. There are 2tvs to watch, one on each side of the room. There's a drink station with complimentary coffee, water, sprite, coke, or Dr pepper. There's a popcorn machine, but it was off and empty :(. Staff was friendly. Was charged the standard fee of $25. Overall I would recommend this place for car inspections.

I was referred to this shop by my family when I moved to Stafford. The first repair was in 2019 that cost $1000+. I cannot find the receipt but this particular repair I was quite satisfied. And not once have I questioned your diagnosis and charges. Mr. Saqib, I may not be your top $$ customer so I may not be a loss to you. Sorry, I no longer want to continue doing business with your shop. I have attached photos of all the repairs done with my 2010 Nissan. Total repairs totaled to almost $4500 within months. My vehicle has been properly maintained since we used to own a repair shop since 1998 in Houston till we sold it. Within months apart my sensorS were replaced, my engine light would keep showing code P0171 from your scanner. My car would be @ your shop for hours. Your tech will turn off the engine light but I returned days after cuz it's back on. This happened 3x I keep driving back showing the same code. Svc Adv. : sensor may be defective. So I left my car again Your staff said they replaced the defective sensor (?) how can I know they did, but I trusted your shop. Then the eng light came back less than a week. This kept happening. On my 4th diagnosis same P0171, your svc adv quoted me $700 cuz he said I NOW have a vacuum leak Bank 1 (in writing). I had to take Uber to work again. My vehicle was there for a day and a half again. They did not notice the leak in the past 3 visits? I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I drove 17 miles with my engine light ON to the shop our family used to go to in Spring branch for years. Within minutes, the mechanic showed me the hose/line/pipe that connects to the sensor was DISCONNECTED. He showed me as he reconnects it and confirms there is NO LEAK . The engine light has never been lit since. They did not charge me. I will give your tech the benefit of the doubt the he FORGOT to reconnect it and not think maliciously after several visits. But when I was quoted $700 to a repair that was NOT necessary at all, I looked back now at the previous repairs your shop has done with my Nissan and made me think twice to take it back. I trusted your shop. But that pipe that was not connected back and a questionable $700 diagnosis based on the same issue, causing my engine light to come on many times bothered me. I cannot afford to buy a new/used vehicle. I will gladly pay a tow truck & Uber to work to take my vehicle back to the shop in Spring Branch.

I brought in my 2018 Cadillac Escalade, and everything went downhill from there. They damaged my wheels while replacing the tires. Then they charged me $12,000 for front struts and rear air bag replacements--only for me to bring the vehicle back because the front strut wasn't installed correctly. They claimed they were "under new management" and would "make it right," but nothing was ever fixed properly. They also insisted my spark plugs needed replacement. Supposedly they did the job, but the moment I picked up the vehicle it was ticking, running rough, and performing worse than before. They kept the car again and told me it was "good to go." It wasn't. The Escalade broke down on Saturday. I had it towed to Firestone, who immediately found an exhaust leak causing the ticking noise--and worse, they showed me the spark plugs that this shop installed. They were stripped. To make things even shadier, this place doesn't provide proper paperwork for the work they claim to perform. Between the sloppy repairs, the outrageous charges, and the lack of documentation, this shop is absolutely untrustworthy. I also contacted the corporate office and received no response. Save yourself the headache and consider bypassing this business. It seems their focus is on taking your money rather than properly completing repairs. No Customer Service.

He never showed up and didn't have the courtesy to communicate that he would not be able to make it or to reschedule. I received a text from him today stating I am someone who apparently has money yet cries over the amount paid for parts. He's also threatening to sue me, which is VERY INTERESTING because he'll have to explain why in his response to my original review he states weather didn't allow him to work outside (we had clear skies in Houston both Saturday and Sunday) however, per his text messages, he couldn't make it to me due to being busy working on other cars. Originally, per his communication to me Saturday 1/17, the job was supposed to be done that Saturday since he received my parts in the mail Friday night, 1/16. I called him twice Saturday morning to discuss logistics but he didn't answer. I sent a text asking him to call me back and he never did. Instead, he sent me text stating he is unsure of the time but that he will be able to come to my home Saturday afternoon to do the job. Later, he text me that he would not be able to make it, but that he could come to my home the following day, 1/18, to do the job. I called him immediately upon receiving this text and again, he did not answer my calls. Sunday morning I reached out to him via text asking when he would come fix my vehicle. He said he would be at my home some time after 2pm. He never came nor did he advise that he would not be able to come. I text him Monday morning, 1/19, asking what happened. A few hours went by and no response. At this point I am no longer receiving any communication. I believed I was not going to hear back so I posted a review stating he's a thief. I finally heard back from him via text within an hour after posting my original review, shocking. He said he's for sure coming this time. Again, shocking. He also asked me to remove my review... considering he still had parts I paid for and that belonged to me in his possession. He delivered my parts to me that Monday evening. I no longer wanted him to perform the job so I immediately asked him to leave. He obviously doesn't understand professionalism nor the value of a man's word. He thinks this is about money. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

My Nightmare with a So-Called Mercedes Service Center I made…read morethe grave mistake of bringing my Mercedes C250 to what I now consider the most incompetent service center imaginable for some electrical issues. What followed wasn't just disappointing--it was an absolute nightmare that dragged on for over a month of my life that I'll never get back. From the moment I reluctantly handed over my keys, the facility went completely dark. Not a single phone call. Not one text. Nothing. It was as if my expensive vehicle had vanished into a black hole. I called repeatedly, growing increasingly frustrated as my calls went straight to voicemail, my messages collecting dust. The deafening silence spoke volumes about how little they valued me as a customer. Desperate for any information, I wasted my time and gas driving to their facility multiple times, only to be met with blank stares and pathetic excuses. The staff seemed determined to keep me in the dark, offering vague, unhelpful responses that told me absolutely nothing about my car's condition. Their indifference was staggering. The only thing that finally prompted them to acknowledge my existence was my threat to have the vehicle towed elsewhere. Suddenly, they scrambled to share what little they had discovered during their month of doing practically nothing. When I demanded an estimate and timeline--basic information any reputable shop should provide--I received nothing but evasive non-answers: "I'm not sure how long" and "maybe around $2,000 but not any more." No specifics, no confidence, no competence. Thoroughly disgusted by their unprofessionalism, I had my Mercedes towed to another facility the very next day. But the insult wasn't over. These people had the audacity to demand $379 for what they called "diagnosis"--a laughable claim considering they had accomplished nothing in over a month. Even after I fought them down to $277, I felt completely ripped off. The final slap in the face? They returned my vehicle with a torn-up floor mat and loose parts carelessly scattered across the floor. They couldn't even be bothered to return the car in the condition they received it. Their complete disregard for my property was appalling. Let my miserable experience serve as a stark warning: this place might fool people with simple oil changes, but they are woefully incompetent when faced with anything requiring actual skill or knowledge. They'll waste your time, drain your wallet, and treat your vehicle with shocking disrespect. Stay away at all costs unless you enjoy throwing money away on incompetence and disrespect.

These past few weeks when I have been struggling to use my car with two broken external handles, I…read moreWISHED I had the mechanical skills to fix my car. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!
