He even offered to show me underneath the car while it was on the lift so I could take a look myself. Up front customer service is good - workmanship is something to be desired. If you need basic work done - change of oil, tires, filters, etc you should be okay. Anything more involved will cost or something else comes back broken- I'm going to have to find a different repair shop. read more

My battery was dead on one hot and lovely Saturday in Missouri City. I was sitting in the parking lot of H-E-B for 2 hour before this lovely couple was able to help me. Two other people tried but to know avail. It was 6:45 and the wife had flowers in her hand so they were definitely going somewhere. I was literally on the phone with roadside assistance and the wife told me that they would help me cause they owned Auto Check First Colony and they had a battery charger that would jump my car. They left and came back and saved the day. On Monday I brought my car in to check my battery and for them to fix other things on my car that were due and needed fixing. This place is awesome! My husband needed to change his BMW brakes, took it here and the lady gave him a reasonable quote. They were able to do it on the same.day and been got him an Uber to go home instead having to wait there for hours! Really nice people. I been meaning to find another trustworthy mechanic shop and since my husband had a food experience I decided to give it a try. I told the lady that I need my coolant level check and refill. I made a same-day appointment for an annual inspection for registration renewal. It costs the standard $25.50 that you'll get charged anywhere. I was quoted about 45 min to get it done. I didn't want to wait in their waiting area (which was pretty spacious) so I walked over to the Walgreen's that's a 2 minute walk away and also stopped by the gas station to check out some snacks. If you're in a time crunch, I recommend waiting in their waiting area (rather than going out) OR at least coming back before their quoted time. They apparently got pretty busy so they said they didn't get a chance to call me even though my car was done. So it took about 1 hour total. read more

They are closer to my hm so i would rather they do it anyway. Ok so they did the brakes but said the tie rod was fine. The latest work they have done for me was replacing the motor in my F-150. They took delivery of the motor and was installed perfectly. The price they quoted was the price i paid. Anything that was in need of replacement while the motor was out they called and we replaced it. Then at 15K miles my motor went out again! and the they took care of the warranty with the motor builder and had me running again in a short period. I took my car to be checked and repaired .The old blondie told me that the mechanic did the job but still my engine light was coming on and charged me 100 dollars .She was lying and when i took my car to other shop they were very honest to give me information on what the exact problem was and what had happened by showing me the pictures of the exact problem. Stop by in the morning for an oil change, friendly service, which is good. They were not busy, so they took my car right away, but the oil change was very slow, took 30+ minutes. Then they suggested I get an alignment, filter replacement, and a light fixed, those took an additional 50+ minutes, so that's almost 1.5 hours. Only wish they were quicker! read more

I've used this place several times over the last 5 years for simple stuff like vehicle inspection and oil changes, and have put up with them trying to upsell us on things everytime I've come in, just because it was a super convenient location. However, I took my car there for an inspection this AM, and the owner refused to cover his nose with his mask, and then asked if I wanted to take my business elsewhere when I insisted. Someone who doesn't care about his customers enough to do the absolute minimum to protect their health is not going to have any sense of responsibility in their work. Edit: I have read the owner's response. Only a selfish person thinks that he has no responsibility to the people around him. Not covering your nose means you don't care about your customers. Every time I've been there has been great. Discount Tire recommended them to me originally when someone else safety inspecting my car said I needed new tires. When I got there, they drove my car into a bay & said all was good. I said that's too quick an answer & they handed me the computer printout of tire sensors impeded in the floor. Went in for general repairs before driving my car across the country and was reminded again about an oil leak. I've never seen oil on the ground anywhere I've parked so I haven't been too concerned. The DAY I leave their shop I start having puddles on the ground and I'm set to drive 1200 miles in a day. They also told be 6 months ago that I needed to replace a belt so I got a second opinion from the dealership and they said it wasn't even cracking yet. went in to get my car checked, and I get a call back saying "...we can't open the hood of the engine." I told them how to open it and told me that that was something that they couldn't do" Instead, they wanted pull the bumper of my car out and and told me that the job would take about 4 hours and labor costs for 500 dollars. So I told declined their services and told them I will not be spending that kind of money and that I would be picking my car up the next day. Next day I pull up and when I was telling the woman at the front that I was there to pick up my car she called a mechanic that asked me a bunch of questions and then they both look at me. The woman then told me that I'd be paying for a diagnostics test that they ran on my car that costed me 103 dollars! I gave them the money and walked away. My car was still not working properly so I decided to take it to a different car shop and replaced my engine coil for 50 dollars....... They LOVE their money. I understand they have to make a living but these prices are highly inflated. Charging me 500 dollars was completely unreasonable when all they had to do was use some common sense. Going by the book is not always reliable, because sometimes you have to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. I guess when I no longer wanted to go through with their services, they couldn't let me walk away without taking my money. Awful way to run a business. The woman was all smiles but it was just a way to get to my wallet. I will not be going here again. I highly do not recommend going here. read more
