Without hesitation, he informed me of what he thought the problem was. Sure enough, his pre-diagnosis over the phone was correct. I had originally wanted to set up an appointment for the following weekend. However, I had some free time a few days later and without hesitation he agreed to meet me that same day I asked if we could move the appointment to an earlier date. Upon meeting, we shook hands and he went straight to work. In about 1 1/2 hours my car was ready to go! He had also found a part that I needed to replace ASAP, but the part was special order. It was such an easy thing to fix, that he taught me how to do it myself. From the beginning to the end, Andre is a top mechanic. He was honest, courteous, professional and even taught me how to do a simple fix myself so that I could save myself some money. All that tells me that he genuinely cares about his customers. During this verbal agreement, he left out one of the services in the quote and when I asked for it he added another $100 to the cost! When confronted with the snapshot of the Yelp quote he agreed to the original quoted price and said that he misquoted but he will honor it. Red Flag 3: NO SHOW! Yes - he never showed up! Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called to reschedule which he did. But guess what? He cancelled the day of the appointment. I decided to give it one last chance and rescheduled again.
