My second time coming here for exhaust work. These guys are professionals and make quick work! They installed a whole MagnaFlow Catback for me in relatively quick timing. David is a great manager and I can tell he only wants the best work from his shop for his customers. Great prices as well. Give them a shot if you need any work done :) read more

Talk about honest service. How many times have you been offered the opportunity to complete the work on Monday rather than Saturday so they can order a less expensive part? Never in my 55 years has that happened to me. That is just one of the three examples I could share that let me know Beraca is the place for me. They removed an old, detached muffler, heat shields that no longer comes on the new muffler assembly from the dealer due to the other heat shields already attached to the frame of the vehicle. The team could have recommended replacing the whole muffler or crafting custom shields because the others weren't available with the dealer anymore. Instead they told me the truth and let me make a decision. If your looking for any honest mechanic shop with fair pricing amongst the sea of options, look no further Beraca will take care of you! read more

David, the manager, and his team were extremely efficient. He made sure to provide me with clear explanations of the brake repair work I needed to have done on my 2019 sedan and other maintenance to monitor over the next year or so. His fair pricing and informativeness provided me with assurance. The service was completed in an hour and a half! Extra plus: the reliable Wifi that allowed me to get some work done while waiting for my car to be serviced! I would for sure recommend David and his team for all mechanic needs. read more

nice guy but wait time way to long. I think need more manpower. brought car in 10 ish now its 1:15 pm. incredible situation.

Went in for brake installation. Very honest and straightforward service. Price was extremely reasonable and installation was done very fast. After installation, David talked me through what to look out for, considering the age of my car and other things he noticed that need to be changed, but with no pressure to signup for the additional service. It was a refreshing experience. read more

ALWAYS AMAZING always professional. I've been coming here to get my brakes fixed for the past three years. They always do great work here.

I would definitely recommend Mr David's shop for any of your cars needs. I was referred to him by the dealership I bought my Jeep. I had a check engine light come on and David advised it was my catalytic converter and I wound up having to replace both cat converters. They gave me a fair price for this kind of work and they did it same day. They take pride in their work. In the shop there is a sign that says "Reputation is Everything". Hopefully I do not have to go back there for anything but if I do need something for my car I will take it to Mr David! Thank you so much Mr David. read more

I moved back to Houston in 2021 and used YELP ratings and reviews to lead me to the best, most trustworthy mechanic to handle maintenance and repairs on my 2015 Subaru Forester with 190k+ miles on it. David & his shop had the highest rating and best reviews, so I went with him. Best decision I made in 2021! We are now @ 250k+ & I am here to tell you that having this fine gentleman & his team taking care of my car has truly been a Godsend. I had to take my car in to get my brakes done on a day I had to drive to the opposite end of town. Since I wasn't anywhere near my usual mechanic, I went on Yelp, my trusted source, and found Beraca and I'm so glad I did. They got me right in, gave me a great deal, and fixed my brakes in 2.5 hrs. If I didn't live so far, I'd take my car here for everything. This is a family run business so if you're into supporting local and want a good experience, I recommend Beraca. read more

I took my car yesterday to have the brakes looked at and to get a synthetic oil change. There was a special on brakes so I got an excellent deal on that they checked my back brakes and helped me a little with those and didn't charge me and I got an excellent price on the oil change. David who helped me was very honest and the work was done quickly and I'll definitely be back. read more

Tremendous work and extremely fair pricing. I requested a quote a 8pm and had an appointment the following morning. Muffler was installed professionally- was in and out in little over an hour. I will be coming again for other car installations! read more

This is the place to go for brake jobs. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. I knew I needed back brakes (55k miles), but wasn't sure about front brakes since I had done them once already. David (the Owner) checked it out and said the fronts were still good, maybe next year I'll need new ones. I told him I wanted original parts which he was able to get from his supplier in a couple hours. If you need a fancy waiting room, donuts, a massage chair, etc, this place isn't for you. If you want quality work done at an EXTREMELY reasonable price, this is your place. I will never go anywhere else to get brakes. read more

David and his group are fantastic! They are honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. They are also timely in their services. They're well versed in breaks, batteries, and oil changes. Beraca Muffler & Brakes - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

I haven't been in Houston too long so when I heard my brakes start squealing, I got very anxious about finding a place where they would be repaired well and at a great price. I found Beraca using Yelp and their customer service is amazing. I came to the shop early Saturday morning where David diagnosed by brakes. I was most impressed by how well David explained the issues with my car. He made me come out into the shop to view the issues with my own eyes and answered all my questions. He ended up finding other issues with my brakes and tires that I had totally missed and that needed serious attention. I hope I don't have to come back here for a while but if I need help again, I will be coming here! The shop did start getting busy mid-morning so it took about 3-3.5 hours from diagnosis to driving off the lot, but I'm sure that's because of weekend rushes. Still a reasonable amount of time for repair. Thanks David and the Beraca team! read more

Called in to have a quote on break pad replacement for my altima and David gave me an very reasonable quote (much lower than the shops in my neighbourhood). I'll go there and give it a shot and will update the review after the work is done. Just got back from the shop and had the rear pads replaced. David explained in detail why I should replace the rear one and not the front ones, not like other shops trying to sell me all front and back. I appreciate David's honesty and he knows what he's doing. The price is so so so reasonable with top quality. It's god to find a mechanic you can trust and will come back soon for oil changes. read more

Very happy about this place. They advised me what my car needed and didn't need. When I could expect to have to make updates and they changed both front/rear brake pads for a very reasonable price. I was very pleased. Don't get discouraged by the aesthetics. They don't have the most lavish waiting room but who cares if the quality of work is great. I'd suggest possibly getting dropped off and come back in a few hours. Also they close around 3 on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays as an fyi. The wait on the weekday to get my car back was less than 3 hours which is pretty reasonable. read more

This place is easily a 5 stars! First I will say give your self about two hours depending on where you are in line. Angel was my technician and I noticed he was very thorough. David is the manager and is very pleasant and will explain and show you what is wrong with your vehicle. The prices were also very reasonable for a brake job (two front). read more

I was very happy with the brake service I received. He didn't over charge, was honest about what I needed and what could wait. One week later I referred a good friend for similar services and she was also very pleased with the prices, and honesty. Those two things can go a long way in business. I will continue to bring my business and refer people to them when applicable read more
