I was sent here to get my tire bolts fixed and since I was there I asked if they could repair one (1) single blown out bulb in my headlight. Geo Diaz comes to tell me he couldn't fix it because the wires were fused together. I go home and later discover all of my headlights were out because these mechanics disconnected the wiring of both headlights. Geo Diaz could never give me a straight answer or explanation either. Do better and stop acting like servicing people is a drag. read more

I took my car in as my a/c was not cooling properly. I picked Auto Check as it was a location that worked with my warranty company. Mind you I had to take it back three times as it seemed to be multiple issues - a blown compressor and small leak in the evaporator coil that took time to discover with the dye. While it was a bit frustrating to have to go back, the staff was very friendly every time and had good communication while they worked to assess the problems. They handled everything with my warranty company and only had to pay my deductible which was a huge saver. in total my a/c repairs were close to $5000! Would highly recommend! read more

Best mechanics in town! After taking my car to three different shops, this shop was the only one who fixed my car. My car was constantly turning off, I took it to the dealership they said everything was fine it was probably my battery, I change the battery and it was still turning off out of nowhere. I went to get a state systems check on my Fiat and the man at the front desk (I wish I remembered ur name) was very polite and helpful. He got me checked in very quickly and offered me some snacks. The building was clean and organized, all employees I saw wore masks, there was only one other person there and they were very quick with my car. While they were finishing the tests, the man from the front desk told me my car would fail unless I got new windshield wipers. This was not a surprise bc they hadn't been changed since I got the care in 2013. He orders the ones I wanted, got them brought to the shop and even gave me a discount. The The technician pulled my car around and even asked if I wanted him to turn off the change oil light because I had gotten the oil changed already from another place and they did not turn it off. It took in a second to turn it off and I was on my way. The whole thing took maybe 45min to an hour. They were very helpful and provided me with quality service. read more

I highly recommend this business. I drive a high performance car, which inherently is an expensive vehicle to fix when something major breaks. Twice I have taken my car to these guys to repair. Within absolute transparency encompassing their costs, they worked with me on the costs to my family, both reducing my stress abut finances, and streamlining the process of my vehicle's repair time. In between visits to this business I did take my car to a local Chevrolet dealership for minor work to be performed and both times the prices I ended up paying to said dealership exponentially overshadowed those later quoted to me by Autocheck #3. As well, they build and maintain personal relationships with their customer base yielding very open, bilateral communication, making the experience of major repairs being done to your car, far less stressful and concerning. Went in for an oil change before going on a road trip and the GM Michael was very honest and explained that it could be unsafe to drive so far due to an issue he identified. And it did turn out to be an issue that needed to be addressed. Not to mention if I had ignored the advice would have left my family stranded somewhere on I10. He and his coworkers were very helpful and understanding of our situation, I couldn't have asked to be link up with anyone better than Michael, his boss and his crew! So not only did I get a safe car back, but I gained great friends in the process. Our family will never go anywhere but here. thank you again Michael! read more

I'm new to the area and this was close to my home, so I wanted to check them out. I took my car in for an annual inspection. Terrance was nice enough, but seemed a little irritable -- like he was having a bad day. There was one other person in the waiting room. My car was taken back within 10 minutes of arrival. But I was there over an hour for just an inspection. They did a "thorough" check of my car and since it is still relatively new with 30k miles, they did not find anything "wrong". When I asked why it was taking so long, Terrance seemed irritated and did not say much other than they check a lot of things out. My impression is that they were taking the opportunity to look for more business instead of taking care of what I came in for....an required annual inspection. I do not appreciate them taking my time to do something I did not ask for. If this is their form of "customer care", then they need to warn the customer or ask them if they want that level of "care". read more

I can't say enough nice things about this shop. The staff are very friendly. There is a large waiting area that is clean with a television, magazines, and a kitchenette. If you live near, they will shuttle you home and come get you for long repairs. We've had two vehicles serviced at this location. One is a BMW that we had been taking to the dealership and seriously overpaying. You will only get honest care. Terrence, the manager, always follows up to make sure we were satisfied after each visit. Love these guys! read more

It is comfortable atmosphere and the technicians and service managers inform me of any irregular issues and complete my vehicle in a timely fashion. Highly dissatisfied with the service I received. Shawn was so unprofessional that it is not funny. He quoted me one price and then when it came for me to pay he said he couldn't do the price he quoted me. He was very argumentative with me and is a very dishonest person. He gave me a sob story of how they needed the business which is why he quoted me a cheaper price and then backed out of what he told me. The mechanic there didn't know how to work on a transmission so he had to bring in another guy to look at it. Bottom line they have no idea what they are doing they are a huge rip off. I recently had an issue with both of my tail lights and needed them to be replaces and within a time crunch of 30 minutes and out of all the places I called this was the only place that said they will take me on the spot. Not only did they help me but they got 2 mechanics to work on my car at the same time just so I could make it back to work within the 30 minutes. The man who worked the front desk matched the lowest price I found and they were all so generous with my 2016 camaro and how fast and efficient they worked on it! read more

My check engine light turned on so I had the sensor replaced after repairs were done so I could pass inspection. well it turns out they didnt replace my sensor at all. they simply disconected my battery and reconnected it to the light would come off. not only that, when i left the parking lot my vehicle sputtered all the way home. They quoted me $1100 (down from $1700 originally). I told them I don't want them to work on it and still had to pay $300 for them to check why "check engine" light was on and other misc. Just after midnight on a Friday, thanks to extremely poor night vision and some bad advice from my GPS, I managed to hit a curb and blow out two tires. I limped it around the corner onto Alt-90 in Richmond, and pulled into the first place I came to, which turned out to be Auto-Check. I left the key in the drop box with a note, hoping they could take care of me on Saturday with no appointment. As busy as they were, they did manage to get me out the door by closing on Saturday, with 2 new tires, including rotating the other 2 so the news were in front (both tires that needed replacing were on the driver's side), balancing, and alignment. Also gave me good advice on several replacement tire options, as the tires I was replacing were very expensive. I was a bit nervous due to the other negative reviews, but these guys took good care of me. read more

This place charges 5 X more than most auto shops for uneducated labor the guys working on the cars don't know the first thing about cars. There is some blame on myself for trusting they would do what's right and fix my car without charging me more so I took it back to them 3 times only to get charged 1100$, 700$, and 300$ for them changing various miscellaneous things like coils, filters etc. that weren't even fixing the problem. Basically resetting the computer and clearing the codes so I could drive off the lot. Charging me for a computer scan every time telling me it only tells you one problem at a time. Well I just went to an auto shop that told me that was a LIE!! The computer tells you every issue first scan and after one charge of 90$ they are supposed to try and help you fix those problems without charging you 4-5 times every time you have to bring it back to them. Long story short even after 3-4 visits and over 2 grand spent here they didn't even fix the sensor on the back tire causing the whole issue that only cost me 200$ to fix down the road. They knew about this sensor being out and the other shop explained that this is supposed to be common knowledge to a mechanic. Please don't go here they don't deserve your business. Don't even comment back to me unless you have some type of compensation for the hustle y'all pulled on me without fixing one thing. read more
