I live in the area and have stopped at this business a couple of times over the years. The first time, I had a problem closing the sunroof. I dropped by and they helped me free of charge. The second time, I had to replace a headrest on a seat. The owner gave me a phone number for a salvage place that delivered the entire seat to the MR Collision Center. I was charged a minimal fee for installation. Brand new, the headrest for a Genesis would have cost me $630. Altogether, I spent half of that for a used headrest. I have been a customer and fan of Mason Road Collision Center for many years. The owner and his team are forthcoming on what they can do to remediate whatever they can when a customer comes in. My most recent visit was relatively simple, replace the backup camera on my Ford Escape. The summer heat had taken its toll. The quote I was given was far more reasonable than the dealership and the owner was upfront that if the new camera needed calibration it may be a few dollars more. This is a very professional and experienced auto collision services business. My wife's Mercedes had incurred damage from a track that back into our rear quarter panel at a Lowe's parking lot and then quickly left the scene without leaving any details. We considered making a claim, but didn't as there were other previous minor "parking scrapes" and dents that also needed repair hence we decided to get everything repaired at one time. I took the car in for an estimate and was satisfied with the quote and immediate timeline. The finished product was excellent and whilst doing the work a few prior repairs were found to be done poorly so these were included in the work as well. Had some damage to our recently purchased Honda Van. The right front bumper was damaged. This happened on a Wednesday. I saw the reviews about this place and decided to try. I took it to them on Thursday before they closed and was given an estimate on the spot by Hani. They fixed the damage without having to buy a new bumper and fixed other areas of the bumper that I didn't even know had damage without me even having to pay for the extra things done. This place is a scam & I'd be leery of all the "great" reviews, or maybe Fabian has changed his business practices more recently to skim more money from customers w/o being honest, professional, direct. While I was waiting, I also saw another customer (a man around my age) engage in conflict with Fabian because he believed he was misled and overcharged. From the first phone call, he was very rude and curt, and even worse, wearing a big scowl, when I came in with my good mood -- told me that he'd charge me for the small missing part (50+), and that if other stuff was found to be broken when they installed that part, that there'd be additional charges -- makes sense. Nothing was shown to me except the receipt for the 50+; there was no agreement on anything specific, in part bc he deliberately does not show you the hidden charges "ahead of time" about the job on the last page. The part itself took less than hour to install, then he charges me almost 300$ (after already charging me 50+ for the part) and says that "we had agreed to these charges" which I'd never seen before -- when I asked why he was charging me 4 hours labor for less than a 1 hour job, he got even more defensive, unprofessional, and condescending -- mocking me as a woman about my question. I said just explain the specific charges that added up close to 300. He said, look at how little my workers make a week (huh? what does that have to do with my specific job?), then said, "I didn't charge you for glue but now Im going to charge you for it." Umm, can we say unprofessional, petty, odd? So I stood up for myself and asked why he was so rude, etc, -- that I was fine paying for 1 hour of labor even though it took 50min -- and then he yelled at me, arm raised in the to "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!" Yes, this is *not* the place to go, unless you love to be deceived, overcharged & yelled at in fiery anger. Someone hit my car while parked. It knocked my bumper loose and left black on the bumper. Hani took a look, fastened the bumper back in place and used a cleaner on the bumper. No charge. I also have a rattle inside a door. He patiently explained what would be the process to try to locate the source. I stopped by for an estimate and Hani took the time to not only look at my car, but he also made the fix FOR FREE right there in the parking lot!!! Granted, all I wanted was for my fender to be buffed to remove the drywall residue from parking my car too close to the wall in the garage. The glass sunroof on my Lexus SUV somehow shattered while I was driving down 1-10 last week. I really need the car for work, and most of the glass places I contacted said the could not handle my repair and that it was a dealer job. Due to a common problem in Ford Explorer, both side of my real mirror stripe Rubber panel had worn out. I had a hard time looking for replacement as many had need to get it from ford dealer and its not cost effective and they told me to go to dealer straight. I went to Mason collision center, Hani was helpful and knowing we had spend quite a lot to try fixing it ourselves but failed, he suggested use our material instead and order those parts that we do not have, which saved us a lot of money. Accident damaged the front seat passenger door on my Tahoe. Considered replacing door myself. I got a bid from Hani at MRCC. He suggested using replacement door I found as it was considerably cheaper than others. MRCC replaced my door, matched so well Hani recommended I not repaint door. All repairs done in one day with perfect results. Then I took wife's Mercedes in to repair a broken tail light. Also fixed in a day (15 minutes). Incredible service and reasonable pricing. Had my car repaired there recently. Went there because I read its good Yelp reviews. But honestly, I don't think it was that good. I was paying for the repair out of pocket. Out of 4 reputable body shops in the area, Mason Rd. gave me a quote that was $700 lower. The other 3 were pretty consistent. So I thought, hey, 'good reviews' and 'lowest price'; why not. After starting the work, they said oh, the car needs additional parts...Need to buy. In the end, the total cost is the same as the other shops' estimates. I went back home to compare the different quotes, and sure enough, the difference were the additional parts. The other shops knew what was needed and included the parts in their original estimates. While Mason Rd. (purposefully or not) didn't include those part to come up with a lower estimate, hence getting my business. If I had received an accurate quote from Mason Rd, I would have gone with the manufacturer certified shop. In hindsight, I should have. Mason Rd. did complete the repair in a timely manner though. So that was a positive. There were couple of minor things, which they took care of when I pointed out to them. But still, it was not done right the first time. And I had to bring the car back. The guys in the back are good and friendly but the front desk person is a bit surly and curt. read more

Under the old management, it seems as though they were just content on doing the least amount of work just so you can physically see that your vehicle was back up to par. I have had to bring my vehicle back for multiple times for them to actually completely fix what should have been fixed the first time. So I saw all the good reviews for Mason Road Collision Center, and one of the reviews was exactly the same as my situation. Got rare-ended by someone else, and he is responsible for it, made a claim through his car insurance and of course the insurance company tried to cut corners. The adjuster came to look at the damage and gave me a check to fix my car, I was very depressed when I saw that check because I knew it's not enough and I thought I will probably need to pay like an addition $500-700 to have my car repaired. When to Mason Road Collision Center with that check and paper works from the insurance company, Hanoi told me not to worry he will take care of the rest and I will not need to pay anything. My insurance company caused a delay of a day or two. If they wanted to improve just a hair, a periodic text with status update would be nice. More for my OCD than anything else. Have an '05 Camry with a small scrape on the rear quarter panel. I received a written estimate of over $1,100 to fix because they needed to replace quarter panels, paint, etc. I went to the Car Wash detail shop up the street and they were able to fix the damage for $140. The $140 also included a complete hand wax and detail of the inside and outside of my vehicle. My 15 year old Camry with over 108,000 miles on it looks almost as good as new and I saved $1,000. This was my first time ever getting my car fix so I was very hesitant on what collision center to go to. When I went to Mason Road Collision Center I was greeted by a man name Hani, he was very nice and opening as soon as I walked in and told him my situation. My front bumper to my car was broken and was close to coming off, I showed him everything and told him how it happened and he explained and showed me what was missing and what need to be replaced and how much it would cost me. The price was VERY affordable and made sense, I told him I wanted it to look brand new and when I tell you after I got the call that my car was done, my car had looked like I took it to the dealership and got it fixed, it looked brand new!! Hani sent me pictures and kept me updated on what he was doing with my car, he even took the time to fix something that was messed up in the interior of my car when he did not have to. Fabian and Sako were great at repairing my 2015 X5 from a car accident in which the airbags went off and the whole drivers side of the vehicle had to be replaced. They were able to get the vehicle back to me in almost a month and if it were not for a car report, you would not be able to tell that the vehicle had been in a major accident.
