We had some damage on both our rear and front bumpers. We took our care to Katy Auto Collision based on them being a select repair shop for State Farm Insurance. I'm glad that we did. They did an excellent job on the repairs, did all the coordination with the insurance, repairs were completed on the day they said they would be. In short everything went perfect. I am sorry to say that they attempted to scam me. I have a wheelchair accessible vehicle for my wheelchair bound child unfortunately while it was parked in the parking garage at the hospital someone hit the front of it and someone attempted to steal something under the hood. We took it in to be repaired. At first we explained the situation that this car is required to transport out child anywhere, without she is stuck at home. They ordered parts ahead of time we signed the estimate moved forward. We scheduled the time for the work to be done. When the day came to pick up the vehicle we were told it was not ready however we could take the vehicle because we had appointments to take our child to. However we would need to bring it back to complete the work. My first mistake was paying for the work even thought it wasn't complete. The camera/crash warning system was disassembled when the front was repaired and it needed to be recalibrated so the warning system was alarming inside the car the entire time I was driving and the windshield was not replaced. When we brought the car back to have the work finished we were told we owed more money. They refused to give us the vehicle back. There was no new estimate. No new written agreement nothing with the new cost. They tried so scam us out of $580 for the recalibration. They refused to give us the vehicle for a day, resulting in my child missing a medical appointment. Again there was not written estimate. No oral estimate. No written agreement, no oral agreement of extra charges. They admitted they forgot to tell me. Although I don't understand why the recalibration would be an additional cost when it should have been apart of the original estimate when they were repairing the fog light. Their mistake. They put a disabled child in danger. I would never recommend this establishment. That is just crooked. read more

Worst run business I have ever experienced. I came in 2 weeks before made an appointment agreed to the scope of work and price. I was paying 100% out of pocket. When I arrived at my scheduled time and appointment with my estimate for service I was told they magically lost my paperwork. I presented them with the 3 page original estimate ID#7995771. Original documents attached. They then proceeded to want me to fill out paperwork and repeat the same process over again I did 2 weeks previously wasting another hour of my time. I tried to call my service advisor and was hung up on 3 times by the receptionist after waiting 10 minutes on hold I finally was allowed to speak to someone. I don't know many businesses that would let $2100 dollars walk out the door and go to the competition due to lack of management, leadership, and accountability. read more

In addition, they broke the outline part of my air conditioner window and don't want to be responsible for it. I continue to get an endless runaround. They did an insurance repair on my car. I went to get my car when they completed the work and a warning light was on in the car. They assured me it was not linked to their work. They said it was purely a coincidence. I took it to my regular garage and they showed me the warning light was 100% due to Katy Auto Collision. Katy Auto Collision lied or were incompetent. I went back Katy Auto Collision and they said they would order the part to do the job right. That was over a week ago. I've called twice and I get nothing of use. They can't tell me anything about the shipping of the part. They said the Houston hail storm slowed it down. How does a hail storm in Houston slow something getting shipped from up north? It should not be this hard to know if something is shipped and to track it. It's starting to feel like it's time to hire a lawyer to deal with this endless runaround and waste of time. read more

I was very pleased with the repair that was done on my car. Recently, I had a minor accident with my car. As I was backing out of my garage, I didn't notice that the rear passenger door was open, knocking off the door molding and badly scratching the paint. Brian said the damage to the door was minor and could be repaired by replacing the molding and buffing out the scratch without painting it. He did a superb job, and the door looks great. I will certainly take my car to Katy Auto Collision again if the need arises, and won't hesitate to recommend it to my friends. read more

About a week earlier when the car was in a parking lot, someone hit the front bumper and left behind some very unsightly damage that would have lowered the resale value if not repaired. I can't say enough good things about this place! I was hit by another driver the day after Thanksgiving and I was so upset! I googled the closest body shop and came up with this place. There is absolutely not enough amazing things I can say about this place! The end of March I was hit from behind, we had been referred to this shop from a mechanic of ours. I took my car in almost immediately after the accident and they were there for me 110% of the way. The hassling with the insurance was a complete nightmare! They hung on for the crazy ride, they took all of our 100's of calls going back and forth. They offered advice and help on how to go about the situation, then when all else failed they still worked with us. On top of the attitudes and the customer service my car looks AMAZING. You can't even tell I was hit, it took them about 4 days to fix the damages, although due to the insurance it sat in their shop for 3 weeks and they were understanding and considerate. I could talk forever about Katy auto collision but I won't. Jonas the owner was so down to earth and was by our side through the whole thing, Brian was the gentleman who initially helped me and he walked me through everything that I should do and what he would do if he was in my position.
