    Most of the KIA dealerships in the greater Houston area were all subpar on the ratings front, except for Fort Bend. Rosenburg is not exactly close for me (#1) but it was worth the drive to get everything I wanted: solid pricing, quality work, and stellar service. A number of online forums also corroborated their service approach, which was professional and not obnoxious as other places I've encountered previously. There was no hard sell to take on additional services and they were patient with me and cared for my vehicle in a way where I was impressed. Booking an appointment online was a cinch and it's clear they were popular since I couldn't secure anything for at least a few days to a week out. The waiting area near the service station is on the smaller side, but I was able to hang out in the showroom area and do a little work. There are limited refreshments, such as cold bottled water and coffee packets. Overall the place is clean and super modern. The dealership itself may be small, but the staff is mighty. They managed to get me on the road in a little less than an hour and now my whip is running extra smooth. For all things service-related, I'm definitely happy to make the drive here for the added satisfaction for a good experience.     Purchased 2 Kias many, many years ago, then one for my mom and dad, then 2 more around 2016 -- all from Ft Bend Kia. The last two were Optimas for myself and my wife. On my Optima, a few weeks after that last purchase, the trunk kept popping open. "No problem" they said, and replaced the gadget that keeps it from doing that. Later, the back floorboard was full of water. They said "it's just a clogged AC line, no problem". A few years later, all 4 windows fell into their corresponding doors and I had to use pliers to grab the glass and pull them back up. The driver's side fell with such force that it incurred a hairline crack down the middle. They said "no problem, it's the window regulators, typical wear and tear... $2800." I said "Nope, I don't think that I opened the back windows, ever, nor the front much either for that matter -- at least not anywhere near enough to wear the motors out." But they insisted, and I declined the repair. I resorted to duct tape to keep the windows up since i really just use the car for work and back. I later found that many people had this same issue, and it was and still is an ongoing "Known Issue", with Kia window regulators, and you can find potential lawsuits all over the internet, but nothing has ever been settled. Some local repair shops have replaced so many of these they say they can do it with their eyes closed, but it's still expensive and they've forewarned me that the replacement regulators aren't reliable or guaranteed for more than 30 days either. But the car was paid for, so I've endured, driving it with all 4 windows duct-taped shut for the last few years. Fastforward to 2024. I went back to Kia since it was under new management to see if anything has changed regarding this regulator debacle or if maybe the cost for repairs wasn't so steep. They said that they would have to hook the car to their computer and perform a new diagnostic as the original diagnostic they did a few years back "expired". (I didn't realize that was possible, yet here we are.) The price for them to run a new updated diagnostic is $275. (Again, this must be paid up front so that they can confirm that the windows don't work so that they can then, and only then, quote the cost for repairs.) I think that I may have laughed at that point, and declined the offer. Needless to say, I walked away. Forever. I'll leave my review as-is since my blood is starting to boil just by typing this. Hopefully you all have a bit better experience than I've had.

My daughter bought her Focus from them the same year and had a great experience. My wife bought her car in 2017 as did my other daughter. They all were treated well and got a fair deal. Yesterday, I traded in my 2013 F150 and bought a new truck. They gave me what I wanted on my trade in and the price they gave me on my new truck was $1000 lower than Edmund's and NADA's suggested price. I always do my homework before I purchase a vehicle from any dealer as should everyone. Before Legacy, when I walked out of a dealership I felt like a got screwed. Maybe I'm wiser now. :) The best thing I like about Legacy is they don't go back and forth trying to wear you down to make a sale. I hate that. This last experience with Legacy was the best. I was just going to look at new trucks. I found a truck I liked, but wasn't quite ready to deal. The salesman (Gene Hoot) said he'd email me a quote for my trade in (unseen) and the new truck. Later that day, I got his email. The trade in was $1000 less than I wanted, so I asked for more. They gave me the extra $1000 without discussion. I researched the new truck and realized they were giving me a great deal. Maybe because this was in August and they had a lot of 2019 trucks to get rid of before the 2020's come in. Either way, it was a no hassle purchase. We verbally made an agreement (thru email/phone) and the next weekend we simply walked in and signed the papers. My advice to Yelpers is do your homework. This goes for any dealership you visit. Don't go in thinking you should pay a standard amount below sticker price. When you get ready to sign papers make sure you read them carefully, especially when it comes to the finance figures. If the dealership gives you the run around just walk away. Why do business with someone like that? I think once you establish a relationship with a dealership they will "take care" of you. I truly believe Legacy Ford will do this because they want repeat customers.

She explained every single detail clearly, making me feel 100% confident in exactly what I was signing. No hidden surprises, just pure professionalism. They truly made my dream car come true today. Before getting my vehicle repaired i had a sit down in Christopher office with my youngest baby . and i express to him that my car unexpectedly went out on me and major repairs needed to be done . Through the diagnostic test from Finnegan Dealership. I express to Chris i do not have $5,000 upfront for the repairs but i can make payments. He Stated to me that he understands and out his mouth he stated . 1. I do not have to make a deposit for the repairs to began. 2. I can make deposit payments on the bill when i am ABLE TO . 3. I will not have to pay a storage fee 4. They will fix my car It's been about 2 1/2 months and now i have brought my balance down to 2500$. And through each month that has passed I have been paying earnestly and honestly as I need my vehicle back just as much as Chris wants the balanced paid down. But HARRASSING me for the last 2500$. Shows he truly has no compassion for the customer or their livelihood nor cares about what the customer situation is going on. My car's VIN: 5TDA*******076385 Extremely disappointing experience with Group 1 Toyota Fort Bend regarding a warranty claim. My vehicle's sunroof shattered while driving, with no external impact, and I brought my car to this dealership requesting root cause analysis and warranty repairs. Was told by technician that no external impact was found, which is consistent with my experience. However, dealership supposedly had to escalate the case to Toyota for authorizing warranty repairs, and came back saying "there is no defect with the sunroof, and as such, warranty cannot be honored". I opened a case with Toyota Brand Engagement, to later learn that notes submitted to Toyota by Group 1 Fort Bend dealership, attributed the damage to external impact -- which appears inconsistent with what I was told directly. Based on my experience, issue was not just the warranty denial, but the contradictory communication and lack of transparency in how my claim was handled. When a dealership tells a customer one thing and documents something materially different, it raises serious concerns about trust and fairness. I brought this in expecting an honest evaluation and support on a legitimate warranty concern, but left feeling misled and unsupported. I strongly recommend customers document every conversation, request copies of all inspection findings, and review what is being reported to the manufacturer during any warranty dispute. This one is definitely going to BBB, irrespective of what anybody tries responding to this review.
