I used to frequent this place a couple years ago and then I found another nail place in the area that I love. But I decided to come back and give this spot another chance and unfortunately I had a bad experience. Instead of soaking off my previous gel manicure, the technician used the machine to scrap it off. My nails underneath burned as she did this and now that all the gel is off, I can see that a layer of my nail was removed in the process. Because of this, my nails are really messed up. They are brittle, breaking, and hurting. I usually get gel done every 3 weeks and I haven't been in a long time to get another manicure because my nails are so brittle and keep breaking from the manicure I got at this salon. I also went with my sister and she is having the same experience after we went here. It is unfortunate because the salon is lovely inside but I won't be back again.

Hygiene of the process was questionable to me. Technician double dipped into scrubs and other products after touching my feet. After my service was done, they up charged me by $100. When I asked why, I was told my nails are medium length, therefore they charge $10 per finger. No one told me this during my service. I got plain nails done (booking was for hard gel), no design or anything extra, didn't even ask for a Russian manicure. Overall, this experience was not worth $250 before tip. The idea of a business performing services on you KNOWING they will charge higher than listed on their own booking system does not sit right with me. Word of advice to the owner: this place is so convenient yo my work, id have been my new regular spot. You just lost years worth of business over $100. To respond to the owners response: my booking was $150 for mani and pedi both. There was no discussion about any other services in person. I picked the color from the options I was presented and that's that. If your staff added services, those were not discussed with me. The lady that checked me out at the register even explained to me that the services were $100 more due to the "medium length" of my nails. Again, none of this was disclosed during the service. Unfortunately, they didn't perform the full treatment--they skipped the paraffin portion entirely--but still charged me full price. If a service isn't fully provided, customers shouldn't be charged as though it was.
