I visited yesterday for a basic, no-polish mani/pedi with Cathy and Bao. It couldn't have been a simpler service. I was the last customer to arrive and the first to leave. They completed my appointment quickly, making it an easy, full-priced service. The Brazilian wax was where the experience went downhill. The service itself was incomplete, with a noticeable amount of hair left behind. Even more concerning was the complete lack of privacy. The esthetician asked me to undress while she remained in the room watching, which made me very uncomfortable. After the wax, she again stayed in the room while I was expected to get dressed. I politely asked for privacy. Due to a language barrier, she initially misunderstood, briefly stepped out, then immediately returned with a wet washcloth I had not requested. I had to ask a second time for privacy, yet she remained in the room, leaving me with no choice but to get dressed in front of her. That level of disregard for a client's comfort and dignity during such an intimate service is simply unacceptable. My final disappointment came at checkout. While I was paying, the owner engaged me in conversation, asking where I was from, which distracted me from noticing the small sign posted above eye level stating there was a 3% credit card surcharge. I only realized the fee after the transaction had been completed. I immediately apologized and politely asked whether the credit card transaction could be voided so I could instead pay with my debit card and avoid the surcharge. There was no line and no other customers waiting. The owner refused, saying, "Oh no, that's too much work for me." The surcharge itself wasn't the issue. What disappointed me was the complete lack of customer service. I presented a simple solution that would have taken only a minute, but it was dismissed without any willingness to help. Ironically, the nearly $5 surcharge could have gone toward a better tip for the staff instead. Between the incomplete waxing service, the disregard for basic client privacy, and the owner's dismissive attitude toward a reasonable customer request, I won't be returning. Los Angeles has no shortage of salons that provide quality service, respect their clients' privacy, and value customer relationships. I'll be taking my business to one of them. read more

I thought I had found my perfect nail salon in the valley with super friendly staff who were fast and efficient...so I thought. I very rarely get gel manicures but when I go on vacation I like to get one the day before and was so excited they were able to fit me in the last hour of opening. The owner was there and was so nice and they had a good selection of colors and so I tried a brand she suggested that I had never used before. I got my gel mani and pedi combo done last MONDAY 7/6, on THURSDAY 7/9 2 nails had chipped and by SATURDAY 7/11 5 nails had chipped! I was very shocked by this since I don't remember ever having gel polish chip, let alone half my nails :/ After days of frustratingly getting my chips snagged in my hair or on my clothes I remembered the owner told me for new customers they offer a 1 week chip policy but sadly for me I was on vacation Tue-Sun and wasn't sure if I would get to her salon before the 1 week cutoff and when I tried calling a few times to at least leave a voicemail that my nails started chipping by day 4 and that I would like to come in when I returned, the voicemail wasn't even setup to let me leave a message so I gave up hope on getting a resolution. PROS: Fast, friendly, free parking in back CONS: Nails chipped too easily and my big toe nails were cut different lengths. Also, they don't accept tips on your credit card which is an inconvenience for anyone like me who doesn't carry cash or use cash apps on their phone. I am not sure if it was just a random occurrence with my nails chipping or if based on the gel polish I selected but I was bummed that the nails didn't hold up to the great experience I had in the actual salon, thus the 2 stars, a 6th nail (my left thumb) is starting to lift as I type this :/ But maybe you will have better luck than me. UPDATE: The response to my review was underwhelming and incorrect. I did call multiple times on day 6 and 7 NOT more than 2 weeks after the service and my review was even done in less than 2 weeks. At the end of the day I had to cut my finger nails below the chipping in order to file them down to look presentable which should not have been necessary. I have had gel manicures many times before and never experienced this so it was simply an issue with the quality of service and NOT a result of "daily activities, nail condition, and other factors" so the inability to take accountability has made me upset over again for the wasting of my money and the damage to my nails so updating this review to 1 star. read more

I honestly didn't realize how my nails looked until I got home and saw them in better lighting. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I paid $175 for a Gel-X set and gel pedicure, and I'm really disappointed with the quality. The French tips are uneven, the application looks rushed, and the overall finish isn't what I expected for the price, I mean look at those cuticles. To be fair, I tried to trust the process and gave the nail technician the opportunity to redo several nails. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth and struggling to communicate, the result still wasn't right. We even switched to a different French design because the original style I wanted wasn't working out, but the final outcome was still uneven. By the end, I was so frustrated that although I wanted to ask for another technician and remove the application altogether, I was just over it and left. Now I have to spend even more money elsewhere to get them fixed, which is really disappointing. I really hate leaving a review like this. My pedicure was great so I think it really depends on who your tech is here. The woman I believe is the owner was great, got me in last minute and it's really nice to see an owner take pride in their shop and be the one cleaning and handling appointments. I originally was going to let this go but this morning my hands stung so bad washing my hair. My manicure was one of the sloppiest I've ever had. She nicked several of my cuticles with the drill and there was blood everywhere, she ended up using some sort of sealant to help stop the bleeding. She drilled my nails so thin they actually hurt going under the uv light and I've never had that happen. I have cuts all over my hand and the not the best polish job tbh. I would be cautious who you go to here. Overall is a nice clean salon, but I won't be back. read more

Kathy and Le are the literally the best. Kathy did my hard gel manicure and Le did my gel pedicure and I am literally in love. They were able to accommodate me with an appointment the same day I called and left me with the biggest smile. There is a chill vibe in the salon, and overall friendly ambiance. No loud noises or music, just calm and relaxing the way a nail salon should be. They have parking being the salon and a door to get in from so you don't have to walk all the way around the block. I was in town and need to find an organic nail salon due to an acrylic allergy. I initially chose Green Nail based on their positive Yelp ratings and made an appointment for a regular mani/pedi. However, I was extremely disappointed my the quality - the nail technician rushed through the entire appointment. She only trimmed the sides of my cuticles, gave barely any massage when applying the lotion (which was done after the regular polish was applied vs before), and the nail polish application was the most frustrating part. The nail polish was uneven against my cuticles and the top coat didn't cover the polish underneath (see photos). Needless to say, my $55 mani/pedi barely lasted 3 days. I've been to other salons where the cuticle care isn't great but the nail polish application is still good. In this case, both aspects of the mani/pedi fell short. The nail lady assisting me told me she had to cut it and apply a gel x on ONE NAIL for $7. Absurd when I've had other places fix it simply with powder for free. In addition to that, you can completely see my nail from under. Very unprofessional. They also charged me an additional $5 to apply some thin powder on my nail because I had a crack. I paid an additional $12 to the service I was getting for the bare minimum. Aside from that, the technicians do not know how to file properly. My nails look like mountains. Literally do not come here, I wish I had good pictures of the mess they did to me. I came to this salon 10 months ago and I still think about how badly I got scammed. I needed a last minute pedicure and manicure, so l decided to come here. They took me in and even though they weren't the greatest service I had, they weren't the worst either. Yet mid me getting my nails done, I could tell the women's doing my nails were in a hurry. They kept trying to convince me to do something simple and short. Which honestly is what I planning on anyway, but I didn't like the fact they were trying to convince me that was best every time I brought color, shape, or size. It was uncomfortable. Anyway, I continued to trust the process trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong, I absolutely hated them, they had bumps, lint, and the nail paint job was uneven. I told them I was unsatisfied, and they absolutely did nothing to help. Other than gaslighting me into believing they did a good job. To top it all off it was $203!! For short, gel, and red French tip color nails on both my hands and solid red on my toes. Even though toes were fine this was totally a scam! The salon I go to usually charges me 160/170, and that's with longer length and design! I wish I had more detailed videos or pictures but I was so pissed, I tried to forget it but I still haven't been able to. Save your money and don't go here! read more

For my hands I've done different services: regular gel, gel-X, now I do acrylic fill with gel on top. I often get French tips or designs.
