My daughter goes here frequently to get some of their treatments, and she always seems really quite happy with their service. The staff is really wonderful, and this time it was fun to see my daughter (teenager) manage the entire payment transaction on her own (with this parent just watching on for comfort). Teenagers grow up so fast, but I digress. The entrance to this establishment is on the 2nd floor of a building, and you have to take the side stairs to get upstairs, which is quite fine -- lots of signage. Very sad to be leaving this review. I have had a membership here for the better part of a year and I could not be more disappointed with many of the staff members. I have consistently been seeing a specific sugarista who is AMAZING, however they have made it increasingly more difficult to book with her. I have always been able to call and book directly but that has completely changed. Most recently they've told me that they cannot tell me when I can schedule with her and that if I would like to book with her I would have to call EVERY DAY to see if she is in and ONLY then I would be able to book her. Despite reminding them that I have always pre booked with her and also informing them that I have not had the best experience with other sugaristas at S+B.... If you book here just know that if you find someone you love here, they will not allow you to consistently book with them and will make it hard to do so. Will likely be cancelling my membership. :( read more

UPDATE: the owner responded here. There was no call or email to me. Nothing to try to make up for their total lack of service. And also, no explanation. So if I got in there at my 1pm spot... and the service took more than 20 mins...i wonder if I would even get the full thing I would be paying for. As a Studio City resident, I will be making sure my neighbors DO NOT go here. What terrible service and even worse business acumen. ----- The studio city location has terrible parking on weekends so, after being unable to find parking and then getting unable to actually find how to get upstairs, I was 10 mins late to an appointment at 1pm. I arrived and they were like "no worries, but since it's a 20 minutes sevice we will see what we can get done" Ladies... no. This is LA... being late is the standard and no business should give you half a service. This is YOUR money... and YOUR time. Never go here. Raya over the hill has better customer service, less expensive and they never tell you "we will see what we can do"... you get the service you asked for. Marisol (not sure if that's how you spell her name) was amazing and super helpful! She was patient and helped answer all my questions and my tan looked great the first few days! Only downside I will say which has happened with every single tan I've ever gotten is that it will absolutely stain your clothes even days later. On day 3 i looked down at my tank top and there's bronze bleeding all over the underarms which has damaged the top. Not sure how to stain remove it? And I'm also afraid it will continue to do the same with the rest of my clothes until it's completely faded on the last day throughout this week. Only reason I didn't notice if it stained my other clothes is because I wore black for work and didn't notice anything but now I'll have to double check. Love the tan on my skin but don't love the results of the tan on my clothes. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Sugared + Bronzed is it ppl!! I've never experienced the sugaring part but I've come here for years for airbrush tans. Admittedly I haven't had one since 2019 and was so glad to be able to come back to this wonderful place and experience the same level of class and quality that I've always loved about it. I've tried many airbrush tans in LA and have even been turned into a pumpkin but that's never been the case at S+B. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the airbrush artists are always very well trained and knowledgeable. I feel like at other places you have to hope you get the A team doing your tan but everyone at S+B is the A team! I love how easy it is to book online. I came last week for an upcoming Mexico wedding and ended up walking in about 30 min before my appt, just in case they could take me early. Karissa at the front desk was SO sweet and welcomed me back. She helped me get to the back within a couple min which was awesome and unexpected. She even had my credit on file from a referral years ago that I did not know went through. You get referral credits for tans or products! I've sent quite a few ppl here but make sure you follow the referral process or you won't get the credit Mariah did my tan and started by asking what I was looking for, then making a suggestion on which level I should get. She was spot on! She also kindly reminded me of the process that I had forgotten and had to keep asking questions about. My tan was beautiful and has now lasted over a week even after spending quite a bit of time in a pool. I love this place and will always come for my tans. I have their membership which allows you to get 1 Brazilian sugaring or spray tan per month at a pretty affordable rate. The service is always great, and my sensitive skin does MUCH better with sugaring than waxing. I've also done the spray tan a few times which is fun, it gives you a glowy look before an event or vacation. I think there's valet parking, but I always just give myself a little extra time and park for free in the nearby neighborhood. read more

I'm so happy that I found in Sugared + Bronzed for my girl maintenance needs. I was in search for Brazilian waxing/sugaring services in the Valley area. They are reasonably priced and easily accessible. What's appealing to me is that they have a membership you can pay a set price monthly for. This ended up being cheaper than other waxing or sugaring places when doing a price comparison. I only pay $49 a month and I can get one service of sugaring or a spray tan with that pricing. Also they offer special pricing of $15 dollars if you let a trainee do your services I go to the Studio City location and it's very clean and the staff is always welcoming. The best part is that you are in and out in 15 to 20 minutes tops. Gratuity is set and it's always charged to your card on file upon leaving. There's always a ton of available appointment times to fit your needs starting at 10 AM going well into the night time. And if for any reason you need to put your membership on pause, it's easy to do so. Parking can be tricky as it's mostly street but it's doable. So happy I stumbled across this gem. read more

I stopped by S+B yesterday because I had a last minute event to attend to. I haven't been to this location in a while but I was extremely impressed by how much they've improved! The front staff were bubbly and friendly which always makes for a pleasant experience. And what I love about S+B is that they are opened late so you are guaranteed to get an appointment as late as you need. My sugarist was Alexa and she was perfecta! Very happy Ashley still works here where I know I can get a decent sugaring treatment; as I haven't seen her since 2021. I will admit I was doing this at other S+B locations, but my last one in October didn't go too well, so I knew to return where I know there was no room for error. As expected, all went well, and I definitely look forward to seeing her again. They do have $2 valet parking in the back, but if you have a little more time, parking across the street on Ventura is a free option, just read the signs. read more

The ladies that work here are all very sweet and beautiful and the place in itself is very clean which is always appreciated. My tan looks okay/below okay. I have large boobs so I have a completely botched tan where my boobs are and underneath them. She didn't work around them or ask me to lift them up or give me arm placements that would allow for the tan to come out better. Super disappointed with that. The color isn't per se bad but it's just uneven on my arms and legs. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the receptionist checking me out says "the salon is suggesting 18% on top of your service" right in front of the girl who did my tan. Which is a little unprofessional in my opinion considering I would have tipped even higher on my accord but the fact it feels forced is weird. She could've asked if I wanted to tip instead of wording it that way. Just my opinion. An extreme negative is this may be the most dangerous parking lot I've ever parked in. Extremely small to the point where you have to back into on going traffic if there's too many cars parked because you genuinely can't turn your car around with the lack of space. There's also children running around so if you drive a nice car I would avoid this place all together. read more
