This place is so weird lol. Called to tell them I was running late to my 11am appointment, and they said 11:30 is fine. They texted me at 11:30 and say 11:45 is better. I show up at 11:45, and let them know I was here for a Licensed to Glow (subscription service) appointment. They seat me in a pedicure chair, and don't speak to me again for 30 minutes, while I hear people coming in and being seated for a walk in. After being ignored for 30 minutes, I walked out, and was amazed that they cancelled my appointment on the app within a minute of me walking out the door. Not sure if they were trying to encourage me to leave and then prevent me from leaving a review but it was an extremely uncomfortable experience. If you come here and get anything nail related, ask for Christy! She does amazing work and is talented in everything ranging from dip and acrylic to gel, designs, and so on. I only stumbled upon this business a few months ago, because my nail tech of over five years, without listening to me, put gel on my fingers after I told him I was allergic. I was in so much pain and was calling shops that were close to me and came across the good reviews for this one. I called and Christy was able to take me immediately. I drove over and I'm so glad I did because she helped me get the gel off and rehabbed my hands and made sure I was okay before leaving. She offered to fix my nails and ever since then, I've been coming back in over and over again. She does the best dip sets ever; super thin and natural looking. As great as that was, every time I come in here, I'm offered water or asked how they can make my visit more comfortable. This location was recently bought by a new owner and so far all he has done is made it better! He added in cool things such as a loyalty card where you eventually get a free manicure after 10 visits, and so on. The vibe here is super chill. Everyone seems very comfortable and well taken care of and I love that. They support local artists/businesses by offering cute little items for sale and also offer discounts for holidays, such as mother's day. Oh, and lastly.. I usually feel iffy bringing up if something is wrong with my nails or I don't like a color, but coming here has taught me that that's okay and they will not have a problem fixing something if I'm not a fan of it.. well, that's been my experience with Christy at least. read more

I came across this spot on ClassPass! And let me tell you I wanted nothing more than to like this spot because it is so convenient for me! There is a small parking lot in the back, and street parking. I can see during peak hours how this can be difficult. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I made an appointment for the deluxe gel pedicure![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again I wanted so hard to like this place, but compared to many other places at far better values, there was nothing deluxe about this pedicure! It was a very very basic pedicure. I will say they did in fact use a sugar scrub, but they did not follow through with it, I left feeling sugar on my legs all day until I finally got home to take a shower. Honestly, I just let everything be, since again.. I was trying to just be like alright this is a cool spot... I choose gel, because I want for my pedicure to last much longer than regular nail color. But what really really caused me distress in all of this, in less than a week... the nail color came off on two of my toes... The pedicure ultimately was nothing special, and I'm extremely disappointed that it didn't even last a week. I will not be coming back. read more

Pretty good spot. Not super clean but well priced and they do a good job. Hannah did a great job on my gel mani. She took the time to make sure it was all clean and neatly done! For $40, I think it's worth it. It lasted exactly two weeks before the polish chipped on my thumb so not that long but a solid two weeks without any chipping. The second time it chipped two days shy of two weeks. The pedicure was $25 and it wasn't great but wasn't bad either. I didn't get the name of the lady who did it. Some of the polish was a little sloppy. There were no pedi polish dryers so I just sat in the chair and let it dry for a while- while enjoying the massage chair. The color samples were confusing because when I picked a color, the number didn't match at all to the color I chose but Hannah was quick to find a color that matched! I used the 10% off first customer (although it felt a little weird because of their reaction looking at each other). Overall, a good, consistent nail spot. I would go back! I am regretful to write this review but my appointment yesterday was not as pleasant as my first experience here. I requested a pedicure for my mom and I with Sky for myself and my mom had another nice woman. My issue was more so my appointment than my mom's. Poor attention to detail and very slow, stripped my nails with the drill to make them paper thin. Used a cuticle clipper instead of a nail clipper when cutting my nails so they came out all uneven. Walked in today with some friends to get pedicures and I received mine from man named Sky. While doing he rushed through but I figured there was 4 of us and he was in a hurry. However after he was done I realized my nails were already chipping off. And it was gel. So I spent $50 on a gel pedicure and over $180 total with all of us on something that basically chipped off by itself same day. I Can do a better job myself. Can't go back since I'm from out of town. Talk about customer service, everyone at Es Body Bar is kind, sweet and talented. I got a regular mani/pedi, had to book last minute, the owner Es was very accommodating to my schedule, I wanted a late appointment but ended up showing early, she was attentive and tried to seat me early. Karine did my pedicure and Skye did my manicure, both did an amazing job and I love how it turned out. I didn't wear open toed shoes and they gave those spa flippy floppies and was chatting with Es by saying I will walk back home in these since it's only few blocks away and she didn't think twice and offered to drop me home !!
