Didn't feel like driving to my usual spot, so I checked out let's talk nails. This is my experience as a first timer. From the moment I booked an appointment, the person on the phone was friendly. Monique, who did my nails, was very understanding to what I wanted. When I didn't find the right shade of red on the swatches provided, she went to find me the true red I was looking for. She understood the assignment and gave me the skinny French tip I was looking for. Inside: Looks like there's only two pedicure stations, so not sure how easy it is to get a pedicure appointment, but I was seen promptly on an early weekday afternoon. The pedicure seats are not adjustable which made for a less comfortable experience. Maybe in the future they can switch these up. Cost: I believe I paid about $60-70 for my pedicure. This was about 3 weeks ago, so I forgot my exact total. So I'd say it cost a bit more than other places in the area. My pedicure is still intact three weeks later, and I am pleased with the service provided. All in all, I would return if I was in the area again. I definitely recommend Monique for a French tip pedicure :) and I'd be happy to come see her again PS. WiFi is available :) read more

I broke up with my previous nail salon of 2 years and ended up here after finding their super high reviews, beautiful client photos. 1. I LOVE that they have an online booking system, with transparent pricing and ease to check availability for dates and times. 2. I parked on the street at a meter but the owner let me know they have a private lot for next time. When I realized my meter was up, she went outside to fill it for me during my appointment! 3. The vibes are high here. The staff are close knit and family oriented. I really loved chit chatting with the ladies. And I'm appreciative I was offered a beverage. 4. I used to get acrylic, but got a gelX service for the first time. It turned out great, I love the look and feel of it. My technician took her time, trimmed my cuticles, was super gentle and kept checking in for any heat or burning especially while soaking off my previous set. I really appreciate the attention to detail and patience in doing things the right way instead of taking shortcuts (soak off + new gelX set + design I was there for like 3 hours). She also explained to me how to book for a fill for gel and their recommendations of how long I can wear a set before needing a new one. My nails are a tad too long for what I wanted but damn are they FABULOUS! My inspo pic and final result are a perfect match. Well worth the money. Even with the growth now that some time has passed since my appointment, my cuticles are neat and my nails look perfect. read more

I'm so happy I found this place. I low-key want to gatekeep it and not write this review but I'm going to because I GOTTA support this place. Every person in this shop was warm and welcoming. I was able to get an appointment easily. Monique did an amazing job. She was fast, professional, helpful, creative, and I loved my simple set. Everything was easy peasy lemon squeezieee at a fair and affordable rate. Highly recommend and I'll def be back! read more

I found this nail salon on Yelp since I was desperate to get my nails done and was happy to see it was so close to home. The reviews raved about Desiree and as usual Yelp doesn't disappoint! She is officially going to be my new Pedi girl & nail tech from time to time moving forward. This is your place, I highly recommend you make your appointments for any nail needs! I am soooooooo happy that I found this spot. First of all, it's a family business and you can feel the pride in ownership. My appointment was very easy to book through Instagram and was able to come the same day. I was booked with the owner's daughter. I learned so much about nails in general from her and was also impressed by the attention to detail and nail care. No metal drills or cuticle cutters. They are so in tuned to cleanliness ( especially with what's going on now with Covid) that when you arrive you are asked to wash your hands and you are also given the toe separators and emery board that was used on you. I will be a customer from here on out because it's rare that you find a nail shop like this one. read more

I booked online but didn't quite know what I wanted, so I was able to call and get the service adjusted, which I LOVE! great customer service! I got there and loved the vibe immediately, Desiree was so sweet! so gentle and soaked off the hideous previous acrylic set with no issues. She did such a great job on the prep work and my cuticles, then we came up with a vision for my nails(I was so indecisive, just knew I wanted orange). I hit the nail jackpot finding this place. First of all, I love that this is a Latina owned business. Secondly they offer all types of nail services, from your basic manicure, acrylics, gel, GelX etc! I was looking for a salon that did GelX because after years and years of acrylics and trying GelX there was no way I would be going back to acrylic. I found them through Yelp. Booked through their website. I was so stoked with the pricing $45 for a Gel X set?! But once I paid I realized that they $15 for gel polish. Usually other places include it with the price :( so it was a little surprising. Just be aware before booking! Anyways, the booking process was easy. Due to covid you must fill out a questionnaire before your appointment date and you must wear a a mask in the salon. I was pretty lucky and got Fatima as my nail tech. (I'm sure every nail tech is amazing but I was really happy with mine) she was really nice and she understood right away what I wanted with my nails. We ended up doing an almond shape GelX set. In a very light transparent nude. With my ring fingernails with a white and gold marbled design ($5 each nail) and my index fingers with gold glitter. They came out perfect! I also did a regular pedicure just in white polish which was also good! I am so happy with the services I got. In total I paid $95 plus tip. Highly recommend this place! read more

I really liked this nail salon. Until I almost died while I was there. At first I didn't think much of it, but the more I do... it makes me extremely nauseous. I was about to get a pedicure. Unbeknownst to me, they heat their soaking tubs with live electrical wires. As I was going to put my feet in the water, the girl screamed at me not to touch it. Had I put my feet in that water, I likely would've died from electrocution. I absolutely cannot believe a place would be so reckless. I have not been back. read more

It's Latino owned! They are great! Very affordable and friendly! The vibe is nice! It's like a big family kinda give like your talking to your comadres. I called before to see if they allowed walk ins and they did! I got a gel manicure and the one that helped me was really friendly! I've been looking for a nail spot in the Valley and I was immediately drawn to all of the beautiful art work I saw on their yelp page. Booking online was incredibly easy and fast and I was texted/emailed reminders leading up to my appointment. I opted to book with whoever was available, and Fatima ended up doing my nails. I had originally wanted acrylic but they sold me on gel-x being less damaging on your natural nails. I just wanted a basic French and Fatima worked quickly and banged out this set in a little over an hour. The shop is small but clean and very inviting. All of the ladies working are friendly and welcoming. The vibes were great and my nails look perfect. I'm excited to return and to have finally found my Valley nail spot! read more

Everyone is nice, but but one day later I am here at another salon .. It was not worth 100 dollars at all she even noticed I didn't like my nails and didn't offer to change them or anything or help me with any other ideas of designs after I asked to change it or for ideas before she finished and she pushed my skin inside my toe so they been in pain all day . I was recommended to try this nail salon by a friend, and I am so glad I did! There's a small number of parking spaces in the back, but there's also plenty of street parking in the front. Fatima was the one who did my nails and she was so meticulous and thorough. She helped me pick what color would look best with the idea that I had and executed it perfectly. Clean salon! This place was NASTY from the "techs"to the actual location. All my nails fell off within a day. When I called back the lady Erika actually argued with me before agreeing to fix them... I ultimately decided not to go back because of how mean she was, I was concerned for my safety. read more

Nails are OK... they don't pay attention to little details. She left my nails we a lot of glue on my fingers and made the nails look thick. I've only been to the owner and each time I went she would constantly express how she felt SO lazy and she wishes she didn't have to work. Definitely not what you want to hear when you're spending your own money trying to pamper yourself. Place looks clean so I give it that. read more

A lot of the other staff members seemed to be chit chatting and gossiping about the lady doing my nails, and were checking her work on me after she was gone. I also felt as though the other staff members were pretty lazy to do my friend and I's pedicures. I've been to many salons and they offer doing the pedicures and manicures at the same time, but the other staff members were choosing to just be on their phone and pretend to look through the nail polish bottles to throw away to not do our pedicures.

To avoid further tension, I picked a different color under pressure. I contacted them afterward, and the response was incredibly unprofessional. Management argued with me via text, citing "camera footage" to claim I wasn't actually uncomfortable. It's a shame that being polite and "smiling" while leaving is being used against me to deny that the service was tense. They offered a small discount for a redo ($15 instead of $25), but at this point, I'd rather go to a salon where the staff is actually friendly and I don't have to argue with management just to be heard. Edit: The owner ignored my private text regarding a technician speaking poorly about me, yet chose to respond publicly instead. This lack of professionalism is exactly why I requested a female technician. Furthermore, at no point was I offered a redo or even a basic apology for the hostile environment. Beware: if the staff is comfortable speaking negatively about clients in the salon, your experience won't be any different. Check the attitude before this business fails. RIP and good luck

I waited 40 minutes before my cup got full & I walked out of this salon. 2 mins later the owner calls me begging me to go back and then Amy called me saying she's so sorry that they double booked her appointments. The owner doesn't know jack shit about customer satisfaction, keeping customers happy or anything. All she cares about is money as she accepts anyone who walks in through those doors but yet doesn't give a rats ass about people who have actual appointments. Yet again, today I called for an appointment with Amy. Unfortunately again the owner answered. She gave me a time for 7:40. & she said Amy will be free. 7:10 came around, I called to see if Amy IS actually going to be available because I don't want to go & wait again for 40 minutes like the last time. But this time the owners sister answered the phone and she said wait let me confirm with Amy. She confirmed with Amy & she got back on the line with me saying 'no Amy can't take you at 7:40 because she's been busy all day today but you can come at 9pm'. I'm sorry, what? 9pm? Your boss sets up appointments for her employees at certain times yet last minute you want to change the time from 7:40 to 9pm? Never will I be stepping a foot in this salon again after the amount of disrespect I've received from the owner herself. I can go on & on about lot of other things I've encountered within the last 4yrs of being a customer here but I'd rather let the Better Business Bureau handle it moving forward. Amy, if you see this. One day when you decide to move to a better salon with better ownership & not someone who's gonna put so much pressure on you & constantly over book you just for her own profit, let me know. I'll come back to you. But other than that, I will never be stepping foot into this salon ever again.
