For the expensive price, their work is almost below average. I received acrylic nails here and they charged over 100$ with no manicure at all. Not only that but they allow newcomers to apply bad nails at full charge of price which doesn't make sense at all. They also seem to not understand reference pictures and when you may ask questions or want to voice dislike/corrections their responses are quite...hmm...i guess dismissive or kind of off. Shop is neat and they pay for parking time when they take hours so that's a plus. They also do take walk-ins. Maybe my experience and others on the review forum was just bad, try for yourself but I wouldn't recommend. It's similar to chop-shops just overpriced. read more

I am very disappointed.. the top photo is what I asked for and the bottom photo is what I left with my nails looking like. My appointment was at 4:30, I showed up at 4:10 and was there until they closed. And this is what they left me to walk out with. After my experience with this establishment, I feel the need to warn people about avoiding this "business". Last month, I was scammed by this nail salon when booking an appointment to get my nails done. I booked an appt and moments later received a text message from the business claiming that they was closed for the day. I found this odd since I had a confirmed booking for the day and the hours listed on their page said they would be open. I tried calling multiple times to confirm the message that I received but the calls went unanswered. Thinking that the business was closed, I decided to go elsewhere and did not go to the appointment. 3 hrs later and 30 mins after my appt time passed, I received a 2nd message from them claiming to have sent the first message in error. At this point, they had already charged my card for not showing up to the appointment. I call the salon number again and someone finally picks up. I ask for a refund and the employee refuses and tries to offer "credit" instead. If this was truly a mistake they made that resulted in me missing the appointment, why would they be so reluctant to do the right thing and refund my card? She also tells me that any of her other clients would have just came in anyway after seeing the message saying they were closed. I have never stepped foot in this establishment so how would I know to do that? She tells me if I want a refund to contact their payment system or dispute it with my bank. Fresha does not handle client disputes and it is up to the merchant to refund transactions. I even sent her the instructions directly on their site that lay out how to process a refund. She ignored it and continued to refuse to refund me the money. At this point I decided to dispute it with my bank. Here is where I start to suspect that this was done intentionally. The owner submitted FAKE documents to my bank claiming that I was serviced that day. Keep in mind I never made it to the appt because I received a message from them saying they were closed. I have never step foot in this establishment but she somehow submitted documents as "proof" that she provided me with services. And even if she did, that would make even less sense why I was charged for not showing up. After my claim was denied, The employee I spoke to that day, Desiree, even admitted on a RECORDED LINE while on 3 way with my bank that I had never came to get serviced on that day. And yes she was aware it was being recorded. This completely contradicted the documents the owner sent and at this point the bank advised me to report this incident to the bbb and ftc since there was nothing at this point they can do. Even after all of this, I STILL tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and contacted them once again to rectify the situation. This time, I had tried to speak to the owner directly because maybe she hadn't been aware of what was going on but Desiree, the employee that I had been speaking with kept giving me the run around and i was not able to get through to her. At this point it is not about the money for me. But the fact that they were willing to do all of this makes me feel like this was intentionally done and there is no telling how many people they do this to. So I will be taking my bank's advice and reporting them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid here. There are plenty of better salons in LA that are more ethical and don't defraud clients. PS. Just take a look at the nasty way the owner responds to negative reviews left here. That will tell you everything you need to know about this establishment. I have proof of everything I said if she wants to try and get on here and call me, a black woman, a Karen or deny this happened. read more

Vibe: as if your chilling with your girls, watching music videos and being cute lol ! I usually get acrylics or SNS nails, but they had me try something new. I got the Soft Gel Nail Extension, and honestly I prefer these. There's little filling involved most of the filing is not even on your nail, and it's a easier application without ruining your nails! I recently got a hard gel overlay because I let my nails grow out with this salon using gel x, but I had to use a different nail tech in the location. Six of my nails are completely split in half through my nail bed. I have been getting my nails done since I was 14 years old and I am 36 years old. I have never in my life had an experience like this with my nails. Furthermore, I've never had my nails destroyed so badly from an application that was recommended from a salon that was supposed to protect my natural nails. When I say, I wish I did not give them the grace initially and would have immediately contacted them the next day when my 1st nail split, Because on the phone call I received after letting them know the issues it basically became a matter of it had to be me, and not them. When I truly was giving grace and I don't live close to the salon. I had to wait it out with timing as I am not only just graduated but I'm already re-enrolled in school and I work full-time and I am a mother. With that being said, I paid $100 plus tip which is extremely overpriced for a basic hard gel overlay and a French tip painting but I never minded any of the prices because my services had been well. When I explained that I feel like it was an improper application, and that the technician did not apply enough product, basically for the length of my nail which is extremely valid, and would be a reason why my nails would be randomly breaking, instead of them understanding over the phone it really was like no it can't be that. Never in my life will I step foot in this salon again, as it was already my last hope, because Los Angeles is extremely subpar in the nail industry anyway. But this is just extreme disappointment and sometimes accountability is necessary. I will leave a video showing my nails. No I was not in a fight. No there was no heavy lifting which they tried to infer because they know I go to the gym, but surprise surprise none of these nails broke inside of the gym. My favorite nail spot! I found their place through an Instagram because of Adriana's nail art. I love coming here and am always excited to get my nails done. Their salon is always clean and decorated nicely. My nail tech is Adriana and she does such AMAZING work. I'm super picky with my shape but I don't even have to tell her the exact shape cuz she gets it perfect every time. Her nail art is simply the best I've ever had! She always is down to try a new design or technique, so I'm always excited to see what we end up with. I have a broken foot thats healing and was not sure about her doing the pedi.
