I asked for almond they did them round, the lady had to do five round of coats and my nails came out so bad different shapes. I did not pick the color she used on me. It was way different than the book , it was super see through and the shape was not right. I tried explaining to the owner how I felt and she was not understanding at all and said " next time pick another nail artist" and still charged me for a regular mani. The only reason I was going was for. Liz and Itzel that's it. I am attaching a picture because according to the owner, the shape it was perfect and the color was exactly like the book. The book was a deep dark blue and my shape is definitely not what I asked. I also communicated this to the Nail tech multiple times.

She didn't really do much on my pedicure. She didn't remove any callus. yet I was charged $90. I paid the amount because I just wanted to leave and never come back. the total for my manicure and pedicure was $255 which is an absurd amount. I got builder gel and design on my natural nails - a design that usually cost me about 125 in my regular salon. I only came here because it was closer to me at the time. I have learned my lesson and I will never be back here.

I arrived around 4:22 PM, and after seeing signage on the door stating they closed at 5:00 PM, I walked in to double-check their hours. I asked, "you all close at 5?" to which a man replied that they actually close at 5:30 PM and asked what services I needed. Before I could even finish my sentence to explain that I just needed a single nail fixed, he raised his hand and rudely cut me off mid-sentence, shouting, "NO, not that, we can't do that!" He had absolutely no idea what service I was asking for before deciding to shut me down. I hadn't even fully closed the entrance door behind me before being met with an outright interruption. When you work in a client-facing business, basic courtesy is expected. To interrupt a customer before they can even state a simple request is completely unacceptable. If you are looking for quality care and basic respect, Waterfall Nail Spa is definitely not the place to go. Save your time and money and go somewhere that actually values customer service.

On the morning of my appointment at 10am, I received a TEXT at 9:36am that Hy was 'running late' and would not be available until 11:30am! A little late? No other explanation was given. After reading other reviews of Vy Nail in the Encino Commons, this is not the first time a client was kept waiting or their appointment or it was 'pushed back'without any explanation. They commented that their needs to be better communication between the salon and their clients. After reading these reviews, I called Victoria, a day ahead of time, to cancell my appointment and stated the reasons why. If you want to be a good business owner and have repeat customers, please treat them with respect and be up front with your mistakes and the reason why. Running 'a little late' is not an hour and a half after your scheduled appointment! Why is it so difficult to find a reputable, reasonable, couteous, professional and experienced Nail Salon in Encino? I have lived here for 14 years. Please do not refer me to the salons that charge $100-$120 for a simple maniucre-pedicure! Thank you!

During my visit to the nail salon, I experienced a prolonged process of acrylic nail removal lasting an hour and a half. The language barrier with the technician made communication challenging, and I observed some issues with the service quality. Despite spending an hour in the chair, there was still acrylic residue on my nails. Upon expressing my concerns to the manager, I was asked to return to the same technician, who attempted to rectify the situation by filing my nails excessively, resulting in discomfort. Adding to my disappointment, the pricing for acrylic removal, listed at $10, ended up being $15. Despite these challenges, I chose to provide a $5 tip. While I appreciate the manager's kindness, the overall experience was unsatisfactory, and I won't be returning. The extended duration for acrylic removal was particularly frustrating, and I found it difficult to conceal my disappointment with the outcome of the service. read more

So here is the deal, I have a friend that has been going here for a while and they are always telling me how great they are. I have a nail place i have been going to now for 2 years and they have seem to have gotten comfortable with me so the quality of the manicures and gel seem to have gone down so I wanted to try a new place. The way they did my toes, Amazing! my hands on the other hand (hehehe that was a funny) not so great. I ended up taking the color off the next day because the polish was uneven and over all was sloppy. They girl that did my nails was super sweet, and it seems like they really like to build a relationship with their customers which i think is really great. I am giving them 4 stars although I dont think i will be going here again because they were very kind, I felt comfortable to fall asleep, it was clean. besides my manicure it was a good experience. read more
