This was my first time here, I got the basic spa pedicure from who I think was maybe the manager. My first impression walking in wasn't great, but I'm glad I stayed. Despite the dusty & faded decorating, the gal who took care of me was very friendly and had great attention to detail. My feet feel so good now. I don't get my nails done often, and always get lectured for trimming them myself. She asked about my nail care habits, but wasn't rude or condescending. BEWARE!!!! RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL & UNAPOLOGETIC I have been a longtime customer for a minimum of 5 years. I have always made appointments and I have never , ever been late. If I had to reschedule it would always be in advance. My nail services would cost over $100 every time + tipsssss! On multiple occasions I have arrived to my technician Peter working on someone else and not ready for my appointment. Recently 6/2/23 this occurred and I asked Tracey the manager whom I booked my appointment if she forgot to put me in? She pointed at Peter and said "talk to him". I address Peter and he points at Tracy and says "it's her fault!" They blamed each other and never once provided customer service to me! No one apologized, offered me water, asked if I minded waiting, acknowledged me waiting, suggested a discount service or be bothered the severe delay. Their egos were so big and attitudes were so nasty they couldn't even apologize and it caused a disruption in the shop. Clearly there was a problem before I arrived in which I suffered the consequences of their unprofessional behaviors. Now my day is delayed and ruined. This is no excuse! Til this day I have not even received an acknowledgment or apologetic phone call! They will never see my money again. Thank God there are other gifted nail technicians close by. Don't expect staff to take responsibility for their incompetence - they don't care about their customers! read more

Went to Western Nails today because my usual spot was closed. After reading reviews I was confused but decided to give a chance. I was already prepared for service issues, overprice or bad work. So I came in and was immediately sat down to the massage chair. I did a new gel pedicure and removed my old gel. I have no complaints about work. Anna made everything carefully and qualitatively. I really like that they know how to remove the old gel with the machine and don't just file it down. The price is not high at all and I paid less than at my usual nails place. Rated too high. I would have given it 1-Star but the lady who did my feet was at least sweet, but the quality of her pedicure was really poor. She cut both my big toes way too short and didn't paint evenly over the edge of the nail. They were different sizes and both crooked. I could have done better myself! The women in there spoke loudly in their language the entire time, as if they were just having a casual conversation while doing my nails. Just super unprofessional. I don't want to hear all that when I'm getting a pedicure! There to relax! Also, they were skimpy on filling up the water basin. I asked if she could turn on the bubbles and she just replied, "no". The paints were all over the place and none in order. They all looked old and off-brand. The place itself wasn't clean and there were a bunch of flies landing on the girls' heads and even one bit me and left a big mark on my thigh. My daughter and I will not be returning here!!! They are so unsanitary here and they will rush your service and hurt you. I came to have a relaxing experience and they hurt me on my hands and feet. One lady used a NAIL file on the top of my foot to get nail polish off and the other used her drill to hard and burned my nail. I really wish I had a better experience at this salon because the location is so convenient for me. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience to many of the reviewers here. The equipment were not cleaned at all, and it was clear that they were using the same equipment for multiple customers without disinfecting/cleaning them in between. Personally, I've also been struggling with DND nail colors. I haven't heard of this brand until recently, but the last two times I got my nails done, both nail salons used this brand. The swatches do NOT match the actual gel color. So for the past two times I've gotten my nails done, I've been dissatisfied with the color. The cost was $35 for a gel mani. Had a pleasant experience here. My usual spot is closed for remodeling and I needed to get my nails done today. I went to one location up the street that advertised they were open Sunday's, however I went and they were closed still 30 minutes after the opening time. I called Western Nails and I was told it was a bit busy but they gave me a wait time which was helpful because I had the time to wait. Other places that I called told me to go at a specific time. I went in and sat down, waited about 15 minutes and got seated. I got a pedicure and gel manicure and loves the way my manicure came out. I'm hoping that it lasts! My toes were okay, the nail on my big toe is a bit crooked it's not something for me to make a big deal of. I did pay more than I would usually pay, $50 all in all. When I looked at other reviews they said less than $30 for reg pedicure and manicure however a pedicure is $20 alone. Deciding factor as to if I return will be how long gel lasts. Update on my nails: it's been more than 3 weeks since I got my nails done and they are holding up very well on my opinion. They still look good even given the fact that I wash my hands constantly and I even went to the river this past weekend. I can peel certain sections off if I wanted to, but if i don't touch it it'll stay put and won't come off naturally. Needless to say I will be returning this week, to get them done again. read more

I have been on the hunt for a nail salon in the valley that isn't too expensive, the people aren't rude and the service is great. I think this nail place may have all of that. I went in and wanted just a pink and white fill. The guy told me that my nails were yellow and he needed to take off. Thank goodness he did. My natural nails were in terrible shape. He fixed me up and then I had him put a whole new set on. He gave me the option of medium or dark (he said dark was just a little darker than medium) so I did dark. My only gripe, it's A LOT darker than medium. Oh well he did a great job. The woman that did my pedicure was really nice and was extra gentle when pulling out my ingrown nail (sick I know....but it happens). Anyway new Spa Pedicure chairs, clean, a little barren and $1 to use your credit card. I'll be back though! You better believe that! read more
