I'm so disappointed in myself for allowing myself to be convinced by the careless nail tech I had today that my nails looked fine - not only did I tell her MULTIPLE times that I wanted her to add a tip to my one broken nail so that they match the rest but now hours after being home I'm noticing dark spots on my nails that seem to be areas where she didn't polish correctly . The pictures speak for themselves . I told her even after she was done that it looked weird and her suggestion was to simply "rock out" in attempt to hide my middle finger ... yeah! She thought it was funny and I clearly wasn't laughing then she asked if I was upset and bluntly said I don't like the look and she kept going on and on about how pretty the color was, okay and don't get me started on my feet. Last I was here I tipped my manicurist $10 - shortly after I realized he never even gave me a hand massage just straight up painted my nails - I thought it was harmless until I had another careless service again today . I'll never go back and I'm telling everyone near me to never go here. Honestly worst nails I've ever gotten. read more

I used to like this place. Last time I did my nails, the place seemed dirty, specially the bathroom. The technician was in such a hurry even though I had an appointment, my Pedi was done in 17 minutes with no massage, just a pretentious touch. No more coming there for me... read more

Really cute and small nail salon in Sherman Oaks that I've never heard of. I only found this place because Yelp said it was open on Sunday, there were very few in the area open on a Sunday. I had Heidi and she was amazing with the mani and pedi I got. The place is very clean and they used tools that were sanitized. She didn't rush when it came to giving me a massage on my arms, hands, legs and feet. I think that was the best part of the whole experience. I also liked that after the massage I was wrapped with hot towels, oh so relaxing! Total for the mani, pedi (w/ French tip) in a spa chair was $31. I think that was a great deal. This place will forever be my place to go to, as long as Heidi is there! If she leaves, I'll follow wherever she goes! read more

Most of their staff is friendly, I recommend making and appointment before going so they take you in right away. I like that I have an option to pay with Venmo, I always get mani and pedi I like. It's a good place to go to keep your nails nice and manicured. read more

I've been going to Nail Fetish for a while now. This review is mainly for Quincy who did an Acrylic Fill and Helen who did my Pedi. Two nice ladies who are very good at what they do. I told Quincy I wanted a specific design and she gave me exactly what I asked for. Picture included. As far as my Pedi goes, Helen did a wonderful job. My toes look great and I appreciate it when the person doing my pedi's doesn't rush and actually gives me way I'm paying for. (You all know what a pedi includes. Clipping the nails, scrubbing the feet and of course the massage) Helen didn't rush through any of it. That's something I really appreciated. read more

Horrible place!!! Do not come here!! This place needs to be shut down. The man that works here is a evil man! He did my nails they came out horrible i came back the next day showing how the gel was lumpy and on my skin. He tried to fix them but he was so angry the whole time he was even wearing a shirt that said F U. My nails still looks horrible and I asked for my money back. He got so mad he got the nail clippers and started cutting for my nails and was trying to cut my skin. He also cut my skin with the drill. I had to tell him to be careful you're hurting me. He then put my hands in a bowl of the liquid that is used to remove gel polish and it burned so bad! Since he just cut up my skin. He then threw my money at me and told me off and put his middle finger in my face. He tried blaming one of the ladies that worked there for what happened when the whole time it was him who did a horrible job from the start. He then got in my face like he was going to hit me. He also threatened me saying he has my phone # and picture and he was going to come after me. This man needs his cosmetology licenses revoked and he needs help!! All of this just because I asked for a refund of $65. Pictures are how he left my nails. read more

I have been coming here for years and I highly recommend if you want your nails done see Vivienne. SHE IS AMAZING. She can do anything, I swear. I get gels and never regret paying the extra. They seem to stay longer here than any other place too. Update: 6/1/14 I have recently converted to acrylics for a few events and Jenny is the best!! If you are going for gels see Vivienne but if you want a full set see Jenny! Update: 6/27/15 I just want to warn everyone, if you want your appointment to start on time then book the first one of the day. 95% of the time I am taken 15mins or more after my appointment time because they squeeze in other customers (walk ins) before me. Just letting you know so you don't miss appointments that you scheduled after your nails. Can be quite frustrating. Vivienne is worth the wait though! Bring cash for tip!! read more

Always accommodating and able to get you in quickly for basic manicure and pedicures. The nail salon is a little small but clean and quick on the service. Prices are very reasonable. ($32 for mani pedi combo ) The employees are friendly but usually do not initiate conversation. Closed on Monday's but open the rest of the week. The nail salon takes credit cards and cash. read more

I have been coming here for about 5 years and the service is always consistent!! Always greeted with a smile. Prices are reasonable and they sanitize all of their nail equipment. It comes fresh out of the bag not blue water glass container. I dont know I feel safe when I see that..., don't wanna catch fungus cooties from anyone. read more

This review is long overdue- I have been going to Nail Fetish for years now! My go to place, my favorite people. Helen always does an incredible job on my gel mani and spa pedi. She deserves all the praise! I only trust her with my nails. Despite that, I have had a chance to have the other women do my nails and I haven't had an issue. They are all truly great. I don't trust any other place to do my nails. I even had my wedding nails done here. Love this place! Also shoutout to Keith, the owner who ensures cleanliness is of high priority. Each aesthetician uses brand new nail files and wears gloves and a face mask when working on your nails. read more

found this spot while googling this morning and made an appointment after making a call. Whoever answered the phone was extremely nice and clear about the service. Staff at Nail Fetish was all very welcoming while wearing masks and gloves. Every single table and chair has this big transparent block installed- no Rona-spreading at this salon! Lillian, who did my nails, did such an amazing job on both shaping & coloring. so clean & pretty! For years I was going to that place, it was a very clean, close to my house happy place with a nice energy and atmosphere...! Not ANYMORE! The minute Rude Keith came to town; everything went WRONG!!! Most of my friends quit Nail Fetish , because of the owner Keith's behavior: Rudest, unprofessional person, who is screaming on the clients, telling them what to do and how to talk in HIS nail shop.... The last drop happened today, after long working week I was waiting for that minute when I can come to the nail shop and get my nails done with a very good nail technician Jenny; while I was seating in the massage chair for my pedicure I did receive a phone call from my grandma, it was a few minutes that I had to explain her something , suddenly, Keith decided to teach me "how to talk on the phone and telling me ..."You are to laud!" ... I am laud?! Really? HE Tells me?! He-Mr. Rude who minutes ago was talking and laughing with his coworkers very, very LAUD!...So laud talking and laughing on Vietnamese ( it makes me very uncomfortable, because when you don't understand, you think that they are talking about you and laughing ...) So I finished my conversation with my grandma, pay for the service and on my way out told Keith, that if he needs to say something to me, he can do it in a nice way...like I do now, suddenly he start to raise his voice on me, by telling me about respect! I was absolutely shocked to see a 3.6 average rating for Nail Fetish. I have been going here for about 10 years now and it is the best nail salon I have ever been to in my life including - Chicago, Miami, Boston, and other locations in Los Angeles. All of the nail techs are incredible. I don't feel like they're rushing me and their work is always really refined. They've never cut me accidentally like other places have and it's always very clean and sanitary. In addition, to leaving my nails looking flawless struggle sometimes with in-growns and they fix mine painlessly. read more

Since high school I've gotten my nails done at Nail Fetish (Graduated 2012 if you need a reference point) They always have the newest up to trend colors, and I always leave happy and in great time. Everyone is super sweet and technically skilled. My favorite color is Kiss the Bride Orly gel. I've been wearing it for at least 2 years straight, and they always have it for me. Like clockwork I get my nails done every two weeks. I recommend using cash, so you won't be bothered with the credit card fee. Always my # 1 for nails! read more

I wrote a review and praised Thao for such great service, but I remember in the back of my mind a review where someone said they saw big bugs under the pedicure chairs. I am terrified of these "bugs", but I went several times. Lo and behold as I was sitting in the chair a "big water bug " walked across the floor. I screamed and ran out the door. These bugs are the scariest to me. I finally came in and finished my fill, and paid my bill, but really this place has a problem and I will never go back. There are exterminators to take care of these problems. Obviously they don't care. This is a no no no no for me. read more

Went to this place to get a full new set and loved it!! I forgot who the older lady was who did my nails but she was awesome. Went for a fill...probably the worst service and the women (Jenna) doing my nails did it in 20 minutes and they came out so messy. Not shockingly at all, one of the nails fell off a day later so I went back and decided that they need to fix it. So I get "Jenna" or "Jenny" again. Worst attitude. Doesn't smile. Doesn't apologize. Nothing. Just giving me eye rolls. I also brought in my service dog to the salon and every worker there was speaking in Vietnamese and giving me and my dog dirty looks. Do NOT come here! If you haven't had a bad experience yet, you will. If you hate your job that much then quit read more

Super rude staff. Was going to pay with a card and as the woman (who did my nails) took the card, asks, "You have casssh for tipsss?" I'm sorry, but there's nothing more irritating than being asked for a tip. Um, pretty sure that's my discretion and yes, I had cash for a tip, but after being told I needed a 'pedicure' (all I wanted was a polish change) in a condescending manner and after my mom's service was harsh, I wasn't about to tip them as generously as I was. FYI: They are just not gentle here AT ALL--do not expect a relaxing environment, you won't find it here. I've gone twice for manis/pedis and both times were bad. I've brought my sister and mom here (big mistake). I'd rather find another salon with friendly staff then go back to this place. read more

Warning!! Stay away from this place they are so rude I have never had such a horrible experience in my entire life with any business. To say they are unprofessional does not quite cover The scope of this horrible experience. It bordered on abuse. I went here one time before and there was no charge for taking off my gel on my nails but this time they decided to charge me for that without telling me before. after they finished my nails they told me it was $75 - very different from the quote of 58 (which included a 10 min massage)/ because they've put glitter on the nail tips and they took my gel off. apparently they charge you for adding glitter (to the very tips) and for taking off the gel if you didn't have your nails done there last time--but they didn't tell me any of this before hand- and the previous time I went here they did not charge me for removing gel.... the man yelling said the person didn't know before to charge you for that and I said the person was YOU!! The man who I assume is the owner, also known as the angry yelling man - who decided that the way to communicate with me was by yelling at me --because I told him that he could not charge me for putting glitter on the tips of my nails without telling me before hand. I do spiritual work for a living and I was quite shocked by this mans unbelievable anger and cruel behavior towards me. It was shocking to have a very aggressive man yell at me Because I stood up for what was right which was you can't charge people for things after-the-fact without telling them before hand! I go to many places for mani pedis and they always tell you before you ask for a service if there is an extra charge. As a side note a client came in and yelled at him about 30 minutes before my horrible experience because he messed up scheduling with her appointment and he was yelling back at her and she stormed out. I don't support this type of energy or verbal abuse and will not be bringing my business here ever again. In reply to owners comment: It was hardly FREE- i paid you 60.00- the amount quoted was 58.00. Before it went up to 75.00 I did not send my husband to you- he went on his own , he was furious when I told him you were yelling at me. read more

The general consensus seems to be that this is one of the best nail places in the valley... and I'd have to agree. The owner & employees are all very sweet and prompt with their service. They do always try and upsell you on the spa mani/pedi... but what salon doesnt? . I have had a different manicurist everytime, but they all do a superb job.... I even had the owner do it (who is a guy) & his work is fantastic! They like to keep you interested, whether it be through conversation or magazines this place is great! Street & mini lot parking behind the building. It's right off of Riverside drive, so don't miss it! My most favorite part about this place is the cleanliness! The place itself, the employees, the tools... all clean! Watch out ladies for those gross salons... come here! I miss living a block away from this place, but I will drive the 6 miles over here for a good mani/pedi on the weekends! read more

Signed up via ClassPass for a specific service- gel manicure and spa pedicure. Very rushed. Didn't get a spa pedicure, instead got very mediocre regular pedicure, barely any massage or attention to my callused feet. Gel manicure was fine until polish application which is pretty sloppy around the cuticles on some nails. Felt rushed out of there with no time for the polish to dry on my toes even though I was the only customer in there at the time. Not returning. read more

As I sit here and wait for my nails to dry, I thought I'd update my review. Today, is my 4 year anniversary coming to Nail Fetish and I'm still happy as a clam to have found them. They are open on Easter Sunday (which is how/when I found them). I stop by every 2/3 weeks and still have no complaints. They've expanded since my first visit so I always make sure to book an appointment and stay away from peak hours. Thanks Keith..keep up the good work! read more

I called to see what type of monomer they use for Acrylic powder and the guy that answered the phone had no clue what I was talking about and said it was just acrylic powder. When I tried to explain what I meant he cut me off because he suddenly knew what I was talking about and said he doesn't know what the product is he just buys it from the supplier. He started getting super mad cutting me off multiple times just for asking a simple question. How do you not know if your product is MMA or EMA based One is highly dangerous and illegal and the other is not. So it makes me think they are using illegal products. I was recommended by a few friends to come here and with this experience none of us are coming back. read more

Tracy is my GO TO nail tech. She does an amazing job on my nails !! Unfortunately she has been out of town for a few weeks.. however Ann just started recently and she listens to exactly what you want. She takes initiative to make sure you don't have to double back for any corrections on your nails. I had a really bad experience with this salon. I want to say , the salon was clean - but that was the only good thing. The lady asked if I wanted my callus removed. She told Me it was $10. She put some soap, washed it one time and never removed anything. Then, she put a color on I didn't ask for as a design. Then 2 different people did my manicure. I asked for gel- which should last for atleast 3 weeks . The minute I walked out, I noticed one of my nails had bubbles. 4 days after I got my nails done, the polish started chipping off. My toe polish is not on even. I have never been to such a horrible place. I was charged $81.so, not only were they overpriced- it was a horrible job! I will never return to this salon! read more

I have never been able to commit to a nail technician until her and now, I can proudly admit that doing my nails is part of monthly spending plan I've been seeing her since 2022 and she's done my nails for events and every season between -- she's done my wedding nails, bachelorette nails, baby shower nails -- name an event, she's done it for me. I've gone through square nails, oval nails, coffin nails, almond nails with her. She never pushes anything on you and always has the integrity of your nails in mind. She is meticulous and artistic, and her shop is clean, cozy, and easy to find. I'm so proud of what she's accomplished! I started off with chewed off, uneven, thin nails but now I'm thriving. I am SO happy with Ivanka that I followed her as she opened up her own shop. The only reason my nails have broken is because I waited too long to see Ivanka and they needed to be restructured, but my nails LAST forever. I can push to go about six weeks between sets but don't be like me She's probably done more than a dozen sets for me and I wish i had taken pictures of all of them but she really can do almost everything-- from florals to abstract to geometric designs. I'm so happy that she's my nail technician and I love seeing the art she does on my nails follow her on ig @waka_waka_nails and see her work!!

I had my natural nails painted with gel and my nail shape is uneven on several nails. like she didn't file them or cut them to be even... I had to ask several times for things to be fixed that I've never had to ask at a nail salon (can you cut this cuticle?) Girl doing my pedicure looked 18, and basically painted my whole toe then went back and removed polish from around the nail? Which is completely obvious on my nails. Had her hair down and had strings of hair getting in polish while she's painting , and on my feet. Also the woman stood over me at checkout time and pointed to the tip, then stared what I was putting in for the tip. Extremely uncomfortable experience. Won't be back . EDIT **** All my "gel" nail polish came off in less than a week. Cheap products , bad application

Went in to get a regular manicure, pedicure done on Thursday 1/15/26. One was working on my feet, while the other one was working on my hands. They both did an exceptional, clean job and I was on cloud nine. Great place to indulge yourself and do some pampering. They also give a good rub on your feet. Just the way that I like it! Wonderful people, clean salon and they will even offer you some water if you want something to drink. They have parking, restroom, and 2 entrances. One on Laurel Canyon, and the other one you can enter from their parking lot. I did my toes burgundy cherry red, and opted a light cappuccino color for my hands. Total was $50 w/out tip.
