Femme Fetale is the best nail salon in Studio City. I have tried them all, and this is my absolute favorite place. The salon is new, clean, and so pretty and comfy with pink neon and pink pillow decor. Hostesses will always give you water, orange juice, or a mimosa (be sure to ask). Thai is the best pedicurist I've ever had. He is a miracle worker, and he is highly skilled. He has past experience working on diabetic feet, so if you have any foot issues at all, you can trust Thai. He's funny, thorough, and simply adorable. Be sure to ask for him. Julie did my mani today, and she gave me the best hand, arm, and shoulder massage I've ever had. I had the luxury pedicure for the first time, and it was worth every penny of $85. Callus remover... Sugar scrub... 20 minute massage with a steam machine going...Paraffin dip... My feet and legs feel completely renewed. Thank you, Thai! On the way home from a job and happened to drive by this cute nail salon and decided to park on the side to call and check if they had any availability for a walk-in appointment around 6:30 PM on a weekday A nice guy answered the phone and says yes he can get me in and told me the price based on what I was wanting done Parked on the street and went in, really nice aesthetic, and I love how bright and sparkly everything felt. It was also a chill vibe and everything was neat and orderly. I was greeted right away, and I let them know. I was the one that called for a walk-in appointment, he got me, sat down and brought me some colors, and I chose my color and a lady sat down at the station and started to work on me, she was really sweet and it was relaxing getting my nails done. She was really good about making them even in length and not too thick and not too thin! I got kind of a rose, gold, glitter, shimmer color, with gel X fill. She asked if I wanted anything to drink as they have a lot of options and I think they even have champagne for those that would like some bubbly, coffee, juice, tea, water, etc.. She worked pretty efficiently and she didn't try to charge me out of anything. I'm sure if I needed something like my cuticles cut she would've said for me too add that in, etc.. Loved my outcome! Finished fairly quickly and went to front to pay. I left a tip on Venmo and what about my evening :)Thanks guys! I've been to this salon twice now. My first experience was good. I got a gel mani/pedi. The nail tech was someone I was familiar with from another salon and special requested. Overall pleasant experience. The nail tech who did my pedicure was not someone I knew prior but was very nail and did a good job too. My second experience however is grounds for me not wanting to go back. I made a same day appointment. The two different nail techs I had requested were booked for the day so I agreed to whoever was available, the was a HUGE mistake. I waited 20 plus minutes after my appointment time for someone to start working on my nails. When I said something to reception she said they were short staffed which I can understand and appreciate but if that's the case why book me at the time they did? Someone else in the salon complained before me saying his appointment time was 45 minutes prior and was waiting for someone to start on him. While I was getting my nails done I heard another woman complain about the wait time whom also had an appointment. I had gel on my nails already, so the nail tech proceeded to drill off ALL the gel from my nails. Not drill them down a little then wrap them, he drilled off the entire gel polish and then proceeded to drill down on my natural nail bed, I'm not sure how many layers of my nail he took off by doing that. I tell him I want the fairy dust/chrome. He tells me it's $30 extra. I said last time I came it was only $20 extra. He then confirmed and it was indeed $20 extra. He gave me a 1 minute if that lather of the lotion. Not even a short massage. I left there with polish still on some of my skin around my nail. He didn't clean it up. My favorite part of the appointment was I had noticed someone who was still in the doorway on their way out, left their headphones on the tray where they were getting serviced. So I told the person doing my nails assuming/hoping he'd either yell out for the customers or tell the front to get the customers attention before they left and his response was "they'll come back." Let me tell you, if I was the customer and I heard that response I'd be pissed. It was just a bizarre response and behavior. I'm really reconsidering coming back here for a third time. Certainly if I do, not willing to risk letting whoever is available to do my nails. read more

He gives the best pedicures. Handling all my special toe nails needs with care. My nails always come out clean and no longer hurt from ingrown. He's a wizard at making your feet feel so soft and supple. He's efficient, very hospitable, and Thai's customer service is exceptional. The salon is beautiful, relaxing, and impeccably spotless. I like that this place is open until 730!! That's difficult to time to be honest because I get off so late. They have different offerings of pedicure and manicure services. I love the vibe as well. I went here to treat myself 7 weeks after giving birth. Instead I now have a medical saga I have to deal with. They cut all the way down the sides of my toenails which I now know is something you're not supposed to do, and I I have a major infection because of it requiring podiatrist visits, antibiotics and the possibility for minor surgery to correct the issue.
