I'm very specific about how I like my nails and can be a bit picky, but Melan always delivers without me having to say a word. She knows exactly how I like my pedicure done, including the shape and overall finish. I have been coming here regularly for about a year now since I moved to this area. I like simple and clean looks so you'd think it would be easy to find a good nail tech! Wrong! I tried 5-6 different nail salons around me simultaneously and found Blush to be the best. I even tried a couple nail techs at Blush (the rest of whom don't work there anymore) and Armineh is literally an angel disguised as a nail tech. Armineh is second to none. She is AMAZING. I tell her what I like and she delivers. I have now found that I ask her opinion and she is honest- she knows if I'll be unhappy (if I'm feeling too brave and she knows I'll be tired of the color within 2 days) or if I'll like it. She also isn't pushy and doesn't try to make you do 7193829292 different colors or designs if you don't want it. I had a previous nail tech who just wouldn't let up and always ended up adding weird top coats or chrome and I hated it. I don't really love nail designs on myself and she lets me be- but she did the cuuuuuutest Spiderman for my son's birthday party and I have to stop myself from getting it again I tend to gravitate towards light pinks, milky neutrals- and she finds a way to change it up for me without deviating from my personal aesthetic. And there has been a couple times where I can't find time to go in and I'll have had a set on for four weeks () and it will never look bad!! My nails don't chip or break off- it's really amazing. Been here 3x now and before I write a review I like to try out different nail techs Let's start with what's good: clean space and they have lots of nail techs, seats, and a variety of services. Martha and Rob are amazing! If this review was based on my service with just the two of them, I would give the space 5 stars. They have amazing attention to detail, get down with the shape, and when I leave the salon, I feel like my nails look expensive. Big fan of the two of them. Cons: I had visited and tried 2 different nail techs, didn't catch their names but one lady who did my gel x cut me several times, put on my gel x a tad crooked, and filed my nails with a dip in the middle. I asked to see color book and brought me one book with maybe 20 colors. If you've been there, you'd see they have hundreds of colors (also what I like about the salon), yet I was offered maybe 20 colors. I kept explaining the pink I wanted but she still kept coming back with a nude color. I eventually got over it and sat with the color. I do believe she did her best, but I wasn't too happy with the service. Now the gal that did my pedi, extremely lazy. Didn't even soak my feet. I'd say that's one of my favorite parts of a pedi, getting to soak your feet in some warm water. I originally had black polish, she definitely did not remove it entirely. I went with a pink polish so you can still see the black polish from my previous pedi. The paint job is messy and bumpy. Massage and scrub lasted less than 20 seconds - no exaggeration. She sadly did not care at all. Overall I would come back for Martha (gel x) and Rob (pedi). If they're not there, I'd find myself somewhere else. read more

Had an appointment at 1pm and I'm still sitting here at 1:40pm. Front desk busy with her head down but staring at me without a word. Not sure if this is a welcoming space for black folks like myself . Most of the employees stare while I sit down or walk. Most likely won't be coming back despite the cute interior furniture. However, the chairs are really uncomfortable for my hip since I have short legs. I was told my pedicure was ready and I've been sitting here for 3 minutes without anyone coming up to me. read more

She does work slowly, so I'd recommend booking with her when you have plenty of time, but the quality more than makes up for it. Martha is THAT GIRL! She is so detailed and goes above and beyond in her work. I asked for hard gel on my natural nails, with a cute French tip design, and THIS is what she did! got an airbrushed Gel-X set done and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The nails came out super smooth, lightweight, and the airbrush design blended perfectly with no harsh lines. The shape was clean and even, and they look really natural but still very "done." Armine was careful with prep and made sure everything felt comfortable throughout the appointment. Less than 24 hours and one my nails chipped. I asked for a Russian mani and pedi however I felt like the techs did not use the Russian technique. I've been getting Russian manicures and pedicures for over 4 years so I know what the Russian technique entails. There's an up charge for this service so I expect to get this technique. My manicurist seemed rushed, tired and seemed bothered when I would ask her to fix something. I did call the establishment and they offered to fix my nails. I find it an inconvenience having to go back with my busy work schedule when they should've gotten it right the first time. But I did appreciate that they were willing to fix the issue. I wanted to give this establishment a try since it's close to work and it has great reviews. Maybe I just didn't get assigned to the right tech. read more

I've been coming here for about 5 months now, and I can honestly my nails are better than ever--thanks to Ripsime! Ripsime does such a beautiful job everytime. She is fast, but detail oriented and so sweet. I do hard gel, with my natural nail underneath, and they stay for a full 4 weeks before I go back. I think the only thing that made this experience a little off was there seemed to be some sort of drama going on with a customer and it was very noticeable. I was already feeling self-conscious about my nails, but the technician took a photo of my feet and showed it to a coworker, which made me very uncomfortable. I asked for an off-white polish, but my nails were painted white instead. I didn't want to make things complicated by asking her to change it, and I was okay with the color.
