[I'm reposting 06/08/2026 as they deleted my former post for my reference to Lynn's cash only policy w no --- paid by her - originally in 2024] 2 days ago was at Lynn's Nails regular mani pedi $71 with my $15 tip. $40 for the mani-pedi $10 for removing calluses (which they failed to do) $5 unrequested neck massage for 5 minutes ...m. A toenail has no polish at all, and I paid the $10 extra to remove the calluses on my heels, yet they did such a poor job, they looked just as calloused when I left, as when I got there. Already contested the charge with my bank and have the money is back in my account. BTW does anyone else wonder why these salons are cash only? I believe they're skirting typical business expenses w u know who I. R.eally S.uspect. read more

For the love of God and all that is holy and right, don't go here. Los Angeles- well, California in general- is SO BAD at nails it's ridiculous. It's an epidemic at this point how subpar everything outside of a basic natural manicure everyone is at this. Why aren't there riots in the streets. I'm so pissed off at how awful my tips are- from the butchering of my cuticle to the actual nail shape I had to keep requesting gets fixed. Over 2 hrs correcting her mistakes cuz she was rushing so fast (in an empty salon) that I asked her to slow down "is okay I fix!" Only to rush thru corrections and mess up even more. I'll let the photos do the talking. I still have leftover acrylic and gel polish on my skin and all over the cuticle. So damn sloppy, ugh! read more

Lynn is the best. I have been coming to her since I moved to sherman oaks almost 7 years ago! She's had her salon on ventura boulevard since before I was even born. She's always excited to see me and remembers little details about my life I wouldn't expect a nail tech to even care about. She is the sweetest little lady and an extremely hard worker who always does a great job. I have a hectic schedule and she's always willing to squeeze me in too. I'm not the type to get my nails done all the time, but every time I do I come to her. read more

I called to make an appointment for a pedicure and I was able to go right away. The lady who did my pedicure did an amazing job my water was a little cold but still did a great job. The issue I had with this place was with the lady in charge. Prior to arriving to this establishment I asked if they take card and she said yes. After my pedicure was finished she asked me "You don't have cash"? Which I thought was rude and she also asked me about a tip as well. She also charged me a dollar extra too and I tipped on my card. If the lady in charge didn't make those comments I would of given this place five stars but nope. I won't return to this place again. read more

I started getting gel manicures from Tracy a few months ago and crap now I'm totally hooked. Seriously, I didn't think this would happen. I have kids and wash my hands ALL. THE. TIME. so regular nail polish usually don't last more than a few days. She talked me into getting gels and these hold up SO GOOD!!! Easily lasts 2 weeks. The thing I love most is that they make my nails so much stronger while keeping a very natural look. My natural nails alone easily chip or break if I open something wrong or if they get too long, but gel actually protects them from breakage while allowing me to grow them longer. As for Tracy, she does such an amazing job, pays attention to details, is gentle when taking them off for the new set, and I'm always so happy with her work. On top of it, she is one of the sweetest and most down to earth people I've ever met, and I really enjoy my visits. We're definitely in a long term relationship now. read more

Very bad manicure. She butchered my cuticles, made them bleed, and hurt. None of my nails are a uniform shape and they are jagged. The French was terrible done and uneven. The salon was not clean and nothing was sterilized. Would never go back, could do better myself at home. read more

Wanted to o something fun so I stopped in here to get some nail color and have my nails done. Found an amazing color of Blue! Lindsey was great!! When I got to my car I smudged a couple since I didn't let them dry enough. Went back and she fixed them quickly no Questions asked!!! I will definitely be coming back they were so nice. read more

I got a gel mani with extensions and a gel pedi. The pedicure was fine. The manicure was awful. My nails started to chip after the first day. The lady who did my manicure cut my cuticles in multiple spots while doing the manicure, some of the cuts lasted over a week. I would not go back and do not recommend. read more

I'm not quite sure what all the negative reviews are about. I went to Lynn's on a complete whim after lunch at the Tipsy Cow next door (go there too!). I'm used to going to color camp where I get loads of creative designs and wasn't sure if Lynn could execute my vision but she did! I got cow print French tips and haven't stopped receiving compliments since. She's definitely old school, but I think it's part of her charm. She's definitely affordable, but she only accepts cash which is in my opinion her greatest flaw. read more

OMG!! DO NOT GO HERE! I wanted to give zero stars. I literally just had to walk out of this place after starting to receive services because the lady who was doing my pedicure didn't even know how to cut my cuticles so the owner lady came and butchered them even more cutting the side saying she got a big piece off...YEA OF MY NAIL (pictures attached) but let me start with their sanitation process. Another lady had just got up from the pedicure chair after receiving services & they instructed me to sit right down without even wiping the seat with sanitizer (I even saw sweat on the seat from the last person) and it looked like they just wiped the bowl a little with a towel before filling the water back up(without the plastic covers) I had to grab some antibacterial wipes I saw on the table to wipe my seat before I sat down bc the lady didn't even know what she was spraying on the seat(she grabbed the Windex‍) to clean it after I asked her to. The lady attempting to take off my nails after they had been soaking for 5mins was super aggressive and was trying to rip my nails off before pretty much saying they couldn't do what I wanted so I got up and left. All I wanted to do was soak off my old set & put on a new set, as well as a pedicure but I guess that was too difficult for them Wouldn't go back if they paid me to. read more

I went to Lynn's Nails on a whim with my friend who needed a pedicure. I didn't need one so I went with the idea that I would just get a shoulder and foot massage. The women were extremely pleasant and agreed without even blinking an eye. First I got the shoulder massage that turned into a full on back rub, as she told me to take my shirt off and brought out the oil! Initially when she started she was ALL OVER THE PLACE - now that never actually changed but honestly, it felt really good! Ha! So I believe the 15 shoulder massage I requested was a huge success! When the timer beeped she did another minute then told me that my foot massage would be at a pedicure chair... And there I requested 20 minutes. AWESOME FOOT MASSAGE! She really got in there! It was truly relaxing! I was sad when the 20 minutes was up but of course all good things must come to an end, ha! As for my friend's pedicure, she felt so refreshed and even fell asleep for a little while as well, so success for her too! read more

There's not that many color options, but if you're someone who has your tried and true shades, you'll be just fine. They use a little fan to dry the nail polish which is a little quirky. We won't be going back but it feels rude to give two stars because they didn't really do anything wrong. My teen and I went to get our nails done as a treat for the first time since COVID. We went in and were greeted by Lynn and another woman who started our pedicures. Next this man (obviously a "regular) came in and was seated next to my teen and started using speech to text on his phone in a loud voice. My teen and I kept looking at each other like "how funny"! Then he made a phone call as if he was the only one in the room. It was obvious that the two women thought he was being rude but they never said anything. He started talking about the war and I asked him to change the subject because we were there to relax. He complied but continued to talk loudly. Then Lynn started coughing hard. My kid and I looked at each other like "ugh!?!" The man asked how much longer while Lynn was working on me so she kind of rushed the end. My kid had planned to get a manicure too but opted to get out instead. They actually did a really nice job on our nails but the experience wasn't great. They lost money and we won't be going back. read more

I was on my way home and yelped the nearest nail salon in my direction. So I came across Lynn's nails. This is not the place to go if you're particular about your filing & different nail shapes. I asked for coffin, but I got a wonky poorly filed mess. My thumb nails were square, and the rest not even the same shape. On top of that, she asked me 3 times if I wanted a pedicure I repeatedly said no and she proceeded to harass me about a pedicure for a little longer until I kept saying no thank u. read more

I came across Lynn's Nails on Yelp earlier today and decided to check them out. Let me just say that I think I've found my new nail spot in the area! Please note, there are no plushy chairs or offerings of champagne when you walk in the door so if you're looking for that, this isn't the place for you. I've had nail services done at pricer places and left feeling like all I really got out of the deal was ambiance. Just two weeks ago I spent $30 on a pedicure down the street and was pretty unimpressed with the outcome. I just need a place where the people are nice and they can do my nails the way I want them. Lynn's is just that. Song did my toes and Ann (or Ana) did my hands. For $21 for the mani/pedi combo, I left here very satisfied and will be going back frequently. read more

I called tonight last minute just before closing and caught them just as they were walking out the door... they told me to come right in and stayed for me! In addition to be amazingly great people, they did a fantastic job on both my manicure and my pedicure... I've been to several places in Sherman Oaks since I moved here a few months ago & haven't returned for a second visit to any of them... "Cozy Toes" was the biggest fail of them all...I just had a mani/pedi with them a week ago and had to go for another one this weekend because they did such a bad job... they left a lot of skin/cuticle on both my feet and my nails and just did a poor job all the way around... I had the opposite experience at "Lynn's Nails." I will be going back for another visit; and have likely finally found a Nail Salon I can stick with!! [Yeah!] I recommend Lynn's Nails because they have great prices and super service on top of being just flat out "good people." It's not a fancy salon with plush pedicure chairs, but it is a super pedicure and that's what really matters... I also realize that this is how they keep the price down; by not purchasing expensive equipment... a WIN for customers who don't want to spend $60-$100 on a mani/pedi. I paid $29 for a mani/pedi with french on my toes and an extra five minutes massage... with tip my total bill was $39. Totally worth it! Also, Sandy did a fantastic arm/hand massage for the extra $5... I was very happy with that as well. One more bonus is that they take CREDIT CARDS!! hmmmmm..... GHETTO! The reviews didn't lie about the atmosphere. It's a bit run down. I made an appointment on a Tuesday afternoon and no one was here. They had 2 ladies sitting around but only one of them did my mani/pedi so it took almost 2 hours. I think that the lady that performed my manicure generally does pedicures and perhaps that was the problem. She was very nice don't get me wrong, but she just wasn't up to snuff on her manicure. It was cheap. I don't believe its always the case but sometimes you get what you pay for. And, in my opinion this was one of them. Lynn does my nails... This place is also the closest place to me. I tell her exactly what I want and she does it. Even though the color selection isn't great she had a ton of colors in the case all you have to do is ask! It's cool because the other places close by are always booked and if you call Lynn In a couple hours she can usually see you. I'm super picky so I definitely micromanage but she always delivers. They did not clean the tools from person to person (realized this after mine was done and a new girl sat next to me and they used the same tools AND toe separators). Really gross in my opinion! I STILL have hang nails and visible cuticles on my fingers.... thier pedicures have two selections: one a portable tub and a spa experience with a massage chair ( the same massage chair that everyone has) if you have a regular pedicure, you sit in an office chair... wish I had gone elsewhere. read more

Zero stars ZERO! This place is unreal. I am certain that the nail techs have no certification. My 18 month old could've done better applying nail polish. This is by far the absolute WORST salon I have ever been to. It's unclean and the work is a disaster. Sloppy, poor and careless. I don't even wanna get into how old and dirty the salon is, or how they don't have a color selection at all, or how NO ONE speaks English. I'm talking strictly the work product. It's beyond awful.
