This is my second time coming here. The first time was to get a pedi and she did amazing. Today, I came urgently needing an acrylic fill. I called and they were able to accommodate me. I liked the color of the nail polish. But the lady that did my nails didn't really shaped an almond style too well. I wasn't really fond that she kept stopping to answer the calls because I went in at 11:40am and came out at 1:10pm. She kept micromanaging the way I positioned my nails and if I was putting my hands in the gel tanning machine correctly. I've gotten my gel manicures done plenty of times on a regular basis, so I wasn't sure of what the issue was but I just kept my mouth shut the whole time. This isn't really a post to bash, but I just hope that next time, you don't stop and take phone calls or use a Bluetooth device to take calls as you are performing a service. I still tipped at the end because it's a small owned business. Just food for thought is all. read more

The Salon is close to me literally, and my nail tech is sick and I called the salon and they were definitely able to get me in. The Salon seemed Very empty maybe the economy who knows. The Lil old lady who makes the apps did my pedicure, her hands shook the whole time. I normally go to the SISTER, but she wasn't available. I was afraid she would cut my skin. SHAME ON ME next time I'll plan ahead for another place. read more

Best place in the valley to get your nails done. I have lived in Woodland Hills all my life and I have been to 15+ salons around the San Fernando Valley. These two women who work so hard to make this place a thriving business and they exceeded all expectations every time. The ego in other salons especially in these areas want you in and OUT. When my friend recommended me to Fantasy Nails, I never looked back. I would drive 30 minutes in traffic to get my nails done here every two weeks. Very clean salon inexpensive pedicure, not much conversation, action or excitement. This place is silent like a library, not hustling and bustling with people or chat in the room like you would expect of a nail salon vibe. Technician spoke to me once the whole time..."choose your color". She grabbed my foot and pulled or pushed me in the direction she wanted me without any words. Didn't even try to make a conversation Plain bucket for pedicure not a spa pedicure bucket that fills from the chair and does bubbling foot massage. Water was cold and stayed that way since there was no hose or cold water drainage options at the chair. Was not offered any foot scrub options and when I asked for a pumice scrub she barely got the bottoms of my heels with a pumice block, no scrubs or callous remover at all, my feet are still rough after the pedicure. After pedicure she lotioned my feet only- leaving my legs dry and ashy didn't touch a single leg with lotion and gave no foot massage just slather of feet bottom and top with lotion. She got lotion on my toe nails then didn't clean them with alcohol before polishing. When I asked her to clean the lotion off before polishing she said she didn't get lotion on my toenails and wouldn't clean them?!?! What!!!! OMGGGG this place is weird. It was cheap though only $20. I guess you get what you pay for. Yes I still tipped her- I'm not an ass hole! No I Won't be back read more

Susan and Tina are the best. Great customer service. They take their time and are very friendly people. Love my nails every time! They have the massage chairs which is much appreciated. However, if you're a solo customer both of them will serve since I usually come before 4pm on a weekday when it's usually empty. My definite go to spot for nails! read more

I called in at 4 and they said they could fit me in at 5:30. I showed up and there's only two technicians working. I read they're sisters and it's their salon. I did wait about 20 minutes to be helped. They were really nice. My nails looks good, they did start to chip after two days though. My favorite was the pedicure. It wasn't anything special with oils or anything but she really took her time with not only getting the nails the perfect length but with the scrub. I got a pedi and mani for $32 which is what I pay for just a pedi at my regular salon. I would come again but there are a few things I wasn't a fan of. The main thing, the parking lot. There were guys smoking meth when I got out of the salon. read more

I was so happy to stumble upon this place. It was clean and had a lot of color options. It's in a mini mall so you can go grab something to eat nextdoor if they're not ready to see you right away. The pricing was extremely reasonable and the woman who did my pedicure was very thorough and friendly. I hadn't had one in a while and instead of her doing a nail file, she used a bevel and man that was so much better. It was more comfortable and it made them even for once. I'm definitely going to be back to pamper myself. My only complaint was the "massage". It's arguably the best part of the experience and she barely used any pressure. Basically she just put lotion on my legs lol. That's what's keeping it from a 5 star. I'll edit this when I go back if they do better with that. Maybe she was just tired that day... I'm trying to give her a benefit of the doubt. read more

Found this place on Yelp. Made reservations for pedicures. There was only 2 people working and I had to wait 15 minutes passed my appointment time however I'm glad I gave them a chance. They do great work and are sooo sweet, but the older lady is soooo slow. It takes 2 hours for a FILL. Not joking, every time. I think they either need to hire someone else that can go faster or she really needs to speed it up, it's a full day to block off just to get a fill done. She sometimes does make them crooked or lumpy and sometimes they are good. You kind of get what you pay for. The younger girl was good and fast. Price is great but sometimes they switch it up and do not follow what's actually on the board of prices which is weird and will charge more randomly? Would love to go back because I can't find anyone else, but it's a half day commitment in the middle of a work day just to get a fill. read more

Idk where to start. My friend and I had an appt at 6:30pm. The client prior to us arrived late but they took her and her boyfriend first since they arrived a bit before we did. Mind you, we were on time. I waited 45 mins for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. My friend waited an hour AND a half to get a pedicure. (She was done before I was). The ladies only discounted $3 as a compensation for making us wait that long. The ladies were very apologetic and sweet but they should be stricter about their scheduled appointments so other clients don't have to waste their time waiting, esp that long. The nails came out alright at the moment. It's day 2 and my nails are already chipping. They look gloppy. And they're lifting. It's annoying. I needed them for a wedding this Saturday but they don't look how I expected them too. read more

BEST NAIL SALON. Prices are great. The staff is amazing. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. If you do not have an appointment, you will show up and have to make an appointment when you get there because they have people who come in through out the day and fill the spots. They are great though and do such an amazing job. Such sweet ladies! I am definitely a new regular. Got a full set done by Susan, and a pedicure by Tina. They are both absolutely amazing and provide great service. No better place to go! This is one of the first places I came after moving to Van Nuys, and I'll definitely keep coming! read more

When I went back to get it fixed, Cindy was extremely unprofessional. She was clearly aggravated that I was there, rushing through the repair with a sloppy, 'get-it-over-with' attitude. When I asked to speak to the manager about the situation, they seemed completely unconcerned. The manager said something in Vietnamese to Cindy, but nothing changed, Cindy continued to be rude and did a poor job on the fix. It is disappointing to pay premium prices and tip, only to be treated like an inconvenience when their own product fails. Between the low-quality polish and the lack of basic customer service from both the tech and management, I will not be back.

They offered a small discount for a redo ($15 instead of $25), but at this point, I'd rather go to a salon where the staff is actually friendly and I don't have to argue with management just to be heard. Edit: The owner ignored my private text regarding a technician speaking poorly about me, yet chose to respond publicly instead. This lack of professionalism is exactly why I requested a female technician. Furthermore, at no point was I offered a redo or even a basic apology for the hostile environment. Beware: if the staff is comfortable speaking negatively about clients in the salon, your experience won't be any different. Check the attitude before this business fails. RIP and good luck
