The place is clean, bright, and has a relaxing vibe with good music. Elena did an excellent job on my feet with zero judgment. My toes still look great after two weeks. A long over review of this pristine nail salon! I got my nails done on 4/26 and they are still holding up. It was my first time getting a Russian manicure and I was a little nervous because for 10 years I was loyal to another shop. Elena was my nail artist and she did amazing. She is so talented and her attention to detail was mind blowing. I was so used to a quick turnaround with my other shop but Elena took her time and I am truly grateful. I didn't feel like just another client, I felt like I was her only client. Also, the salon is very clean, I watched other nail techs clean their tools. I believe the owner also gave me the nail file Elena used on me because she said that they don't reuse them. Isn't that amazing? I loved my nails and will be back soon for a fresh set. read more

I am not someone to take it to this extent, however my experience today was not at all how my previous visits were. So normally I book with Elena whose precision and attention to detail are on point. Today, I decided to book with another individual (not sure who it was) as Elena was not available. This individual seemed like they did not want to be working and to summarize my experience, she did not prep my nails well where she started off doing the work herself, then excused herself and told me this other lady would finish the cuticle work and unfortunately this woman did not know what she was doing. I was also kind of judged for the color I chose (wanted a nude/brown beige) and the lady I booked with told me this other color was better and I should choose that one instead. Hard gel was applied first, then top coat but left my nail shaping towards the end and it just doesn't look well. This is my first experience like this but I proceeded to pay $90 dollars. With leaving this review, I hope the employees that were present on this day to know as customers we pay attention from the interaction, and the overall courteous manners. I left with appreciation however, I will continue to choose Elena or I will have to look for another location which is a bummer because I have been coming to Art Glow pretty much over a year now. read more

I had not had a pedicure in a while and really didn't know where to go. I was reading reviews and AG stuck out to me but I was also on a time crunch and needed my pedicure by the next day. I ended up sending a message through Yelp! which sent the message to multiple nail salons asking for availability. I was pleasantly surprised when AG perfect nails responded to me the fastest and was able to accommodate me! I went on a weekday around 1030 am and was able to find parking in the parking lot, however I am sure the parking lot gets more crowded during the day. Location is upstairs and the space is very clean and spacious. Staff is super friendly and I really enjoyed my experience. I have never had a dry pedicure and didn't know what to expect and was worried it would be rough on the feet, however my technician was so gentle and at times I actually felt tickled by the machine! She was meticulous in making sure my nails looked perfect. I was watching the other technicians working on other customer and I could tell everyone takes their time and makes sure the nails come out to perfection. Contacted Anastasia for a same day appointment and Lucy was available within the hour. After my first experience with a Russian Manicure at another nail salon, I was eager to try another one without having a technician patch up the cuts on almost every finger with glue. I was dreading another session that might leave me with sore fingers for 2 weeks. Lucy definitely had a soft touch. She paid close attention to detail. I did not feel pain at all and I was very happy with the results. Price was great for hard gel and good service. Came here for the first time in their new location (Van Nuys). I got a hard gel manicure done by Anastasiia. They're located on the second floor of the plaza. Parking may be difficult as the spots were quickly filled up, but I parked on the street. Anastasiia is very kind and gentle with my nails. She made sure to ask if I liked the color and if there was any pain. My nails look SO clean! I'm trying to strengthen my nails as they are super short and brittle right now.
