I'm updating my review because I am incredibly frustrated with the service here. I paid $50 (including tip) for a gel manicure that started cracking on multiple nails after only one week. When I went back to get it fixed, Cindy was extremely unprofessional. She was clearly aggravated that I was there, rushing through the repair with a sloppy, 'get-it-over-with' attitude. When I asked to speak to the manager about the situation, they seemed completely unconcerned. The manager said something in Vietnamese to Cindy, but nothing changed, Cindy continued to be rude and did a poor job on the fix. It is disappointing to pay premium prices and tip, only to be treated like an inconvenience when their own product fails. Between the low-quality polish and the lack of basic customer service from both the tech and management, I will not be back. read more

I have returned and gotten quite a few more pedicures here. And I'm pleased to say every time I've gotten a pedicure, even with multiple different technicians the quality remains the same. I have never been rushed nor felt like this long was unclean or that the nail techs were sloppy. Every pedicure I've gotten has been absolutely perfect. Great place for a pedicure or manicure. I needed some help with an ingrown toenail and I was recommended to get a pedicure here. I wasn't really into getting pedicures but this place really changed my mind. They work hard to help fix up your nails and feet. Nice relaxed vibe. RUNNNN !!! Do not come here !!! ....I have never in my life experienced anything like this !! I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and never have I ever experienced this .... They gave me a quote over the phone and when I arrived since my design was slightly different they wanted to charge me $55 for the design instead of $25 and my fill went up in price from $65 to $70. Initial quote was $90 then in store they said $110 and 5 min later they said $120-130 as if they were making up the prices all along the way .... The I said I'll do the original design that they quoted and then they said that the girl no longer wants to do my hands. They already started on my feet and said would you like to leave and go somewhere else in the middle of my pedicure .... I said I had planned to come here and I had no back up ..... so I continued with the pedicure but I felt so mistreated just because I wanted clarity on the price and why the design Became double when I changed the design from polkadot To flowers ... I have never experienced anything like this before. As a customer who was willing to pay for Future services I never want to come here again and regret coming here. The customer service is non existent it is disorganized. I can't tell who is in charge here. The woman saying the price increased was smiling and almost laughing as she thought this was funny. Wow! Had a really great experience here. I was able to call day of and get an appointment pretty easily on a weekday. I went in for a regular pedicure and my manicurist did such a good job. The atmosphere of the salon is very calming and clean. I really loved how quiet it was there. they do have a limited selection of colors, but this is probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. They offer a variety of services to upgrade your pedicure and different types of manicures from gel to rubber base. They are located next to Michael's and there's a pretty big parking lot available. Prices were pretty standard. My pedicure was about $30ish dollars. I miss the days when pedicures were $18 but I won't go into that rant. People in the salon were very friendly and professional. I look forward to coming back. read more

I scheduled an appointment to get a set of birthday nails (dip w/ tip and gel paint), a pedicure, and a pedicure for my partner to be done here since Google showed it being the highest rated place in my area. I'm new to the area and this was my first experience getting my nails done here. The vibe was amazing and super relaxing. The staff were very friendly, helpful, kind, and accommodating. However, the product was not all there. Within one day my middle nail was lifting and had to schedule tog eat it fixed. They were super nice and did it free of charge except the nail was not removed and redone, it was painted over with another layer of dip powder and repainted. The nail wasn't reshaped and looked huge and bulbous compared to the others. Within 4 days I had two nails chip and within 5 days the nail they fixed was lifting again. I also had two more lift within that timeframe and as of now (9 days out) I have 5 nails that have completely come off. Also, they had not gone all the way down to the base at the appointment so my nails already looked a bit grown out. I will also say that it costs $8 to buff your nails and $10 to do cuticle removal when it should be part of the service already. Also $20 for gel when at most places it's $10. For all three services the cost was just shy of $240 (before tips). I did check the menu before visiting the shop but the additional costs were still a surprise. I have a lot of nail salon experience and get my nails done frequently and have never had an experience like this. I'm not rough on my hands and my nails usually last 2 1/2-3 weeks regularly. I feel this location did not live up to what I saw online and regret choosing this place. I just wanted some nice nails for my birthday but ended up with the worst set I have ever had. I am disappointed in this experience and will not be coming back. read more

Vivian and Kelly have been my nail techs since I've moved to Encino and let me tell you.....no one does it like them! Vivian is the best at pedicures and Kelly is phenomenal with anything you want to do as far as hands go. I've been coming to this place for the past 10 months and the customer service was not always sarisfactory but today's experience was so bad that I decided to write this review. I do gel manicure every time and pedicure every other time. Today, I decided to do regular manicure. When I arrived, they assignmed to someone who was clearly not interested in regular manicure. She was not happy the entire time she was doing my nails and was complaining in front me to another employee about the regular manicure, not in English but I could understand it was about me. Then, one of my finger's nail polished got messed up by accident. I told her about it and she did not want to fix it. I had to ask her 4 times to fix it, something I have never seen before, and whn she finally "fixed" it, she made it worse. I told her that the nail did not look good and she said that is what happens with regular nail polish. I told her she made it worse and it did not look good at all. She then sighed and said that was my fault!! I said this needs to be fixed and she finally agreed to fix it but gave me a bad attitude, did not speak and just fixed it. Even when I said thank you, in response she said "yea". Again, I have never seen this type of treatment in any nail shop and this is unacceptable. I had heard about and experienced the low customer service in this place before but today was a different story. I will not come back to this place and don't recoomend it to anyone. read more

Everything about this salon in amazing! The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and the ladies who work here are so helpful and VERY good at doing nails. The service is so good, my fills last over a MONTH without chipping, breaking or lifting! Just had a wonderful manicure by Kelly and pedicure by Fabiola. I love that I got to sit in a massage chair. I have chronic pain due to health stuff, And man, that massage chair does wonders! The staff here is friendly and helpful. The space is new and gorgeous! They have a very wide range of hours, which I need since I work two jobs. I will post a picture of the hours. I just walked in today and was accommodated. The manicure by Kelly was especially detailed, and I appreciate it because my cuticles are so gross. I will be back. Hope this place thrives. A tipping tip: bring cash. They asked me to tip via Zelle. They made it easy with QR codes. However, I feel personally it's easier just to bring cash. Every time I come here the services never disappoint! Pedicures are on point, manicures are on point! I will be a loyal client and also rave about them to as many people as I can. Gone are the days of botched nail jobs, and they're also extremely timely every time I have visited! Yuna and Fabi have done a great job on my nails and Cindy is great with the pedicures + Tina legit gave me the best foot massage. Waited 40 minutes after I made an appointment and didn't end up taking me because the technician didn't have enough time!! Unfortunately 9/10 times I go there I have to wait, but this was too much. Love this place. Anytime I call for an appointment with VY they get me in the same day. They are a highly professional salon with a beautiful refreshing decor, its so relaxing in this salon I want to fall asleep each time I visit. Vy and Yuna is a full nail service salon with professional manicurists'. Anything I ask for they can do. Using special techniques and products you will not find in other nail salons. Had gel mani and pedi. The two technicians were very thorough, and I felt very pampered. They listened to all my requests for my color choices and made suggestions of their own for the better. The equipment was clean and well maintained, and the seats are massage chairs, too. The other thing I was impressed was that this place opens at 9:30am on a Sunday. If you want your eyelashes done, which I had them done I could not believe the excellent work they did and the reasonable price. I must recommend them very highly. runs the whole show. My new favorite nail spot! I've come here a few times now in preparation for my wedding and each time the women here are so wonderful! They make you feel like you're a friend just coming in for some girl time. Very friendly, bubbly, and they always let you know if there is an extra charge for service before they begin. I've finally found my go-to nail salon!! Stumbled upon this place beginning of summer... on the 4th of July to be exact. Imagine my excitement when I found out they were open on a holiday!! Ever since, I've been there at least once a month. Yes, the retention of my nails are that good. Everyone here is friendly and everyone's work is just as good as the other. Bonus, she also used brown lash dye which is a game changer. I am fair skinned and my lashes are really fair, most places only have blue/black dye which I don't mind but they don't look natural. Chinh had brown dye and fully supported me requesting she use it. Believe it or not, I have been to places before that would not use brown dye on my lashes. I was super eager to try lash extensions and Chinh was kind enough to do a trial test of a few lashes with me. They looked amazing, but we both agreed that the lash lift would be the better fit for what I needed. However, I want to go back next week to get some lash extensions lol. The whole process too less than an hour and a half. I parked in the TJ Maxx/TJ lot as they have 90 min free parking. My advice is if you call Chinh and don't get an answer, keep calling and following up. She is a busy woman, but will answer eventually.

I've been coming to Pania's Lash Bar for several months now, and I've gone to so many lash places…read morebefore this... but once I found Pania's, I literally stopped looking anywhere else. When I first walked in, I was honestly shocked (in the best way). Most places I've been to are small, single-person studios, but this is a full-on salon and it's so beautiful. There's pink everywhere, Bath & Body Works products throughout (even in the restroom for you to use), a lash washing station, and they'll even offer you a blanket if you're cold. They always have good music playing (not awkwardly quiet, which I love), and the whole place is super clean and smells amazing. Customer service is always excellent. Every lash artist is so sweet, and if you show them an inspo pic, they'll literally recreate it exactly. My lashes always come out beautiful, and I never deal with irritation like I have at other places (no itchy or puffy eyes at all). Booking is also so easy since it's all online--you can book, reschedule, or cancel super quickly, and they have options for 1-3 week fills which I love. Another thing I really appreciate is how fast and on-time they are. I cannot stand laying there for 2+ hours with my eyes closed, and here I'm usually in and out in about an hour to an hour fifteen for a full set (maybe a little longer if I go extra), and fills are usually under an hour. They are so on it--if your appointment is at a certain time, you're getting started at that time and finishing on time too. It makes it so easy to plan my day. I wanted to share this set Anna did because I'm literally obsessed with it. She always listens to exactly what I want and delivers every time (and she smells good too lol). I also want to shout out Claudia because she's amazing as well. Honestly, from what I've seen, everyone there is talented--you really can't go wrong. Also, my first time coming in, they gave me a lash wash and brush as a complimentary gift, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, I 100% recommend Pania's if you're looking for a new lash place. They really do everything right

My usual girl wasn't available due to vacation time so I needed to find a new place. I made appointment on the weekend for the Tuesday of the next week, got all the appointment confirmation texts, read all, checked if I need to click on anything to confirm - nothing, appointment was confirmed, got reminder at 6 am even about 8 am appointment. Moved my schedule and schedule for the day for my husband to take kids to school (causing him to attend work meetings from the car while driving kids to school), showed up at my time (8 am), waited for 30 minutes (as if I have no work to attend to that day at all) and turns out they cancelled my appointment for no reason! I have busy work schedule and busy life schedule with kids in it. I have no time for someone to cancel my appointments just because they are lazy to show up at work. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Zero respect for people's time, zero organization and utter nonsense of a place

First she scheduled me for 2 pm then texted me the appointment was going to be at 4 pm Which I was okay with that , I asked her if the money was going to be put in as money to my final payment she said yes she send me pictures of the menu that I had already looked into since that's is how I got her number then I said I wanted full volume eyelashes at this point I was already on my way then she tell's me she does not have time to do a full volume being that she had other clients . She never asked me what set of eyelashes I was going to want before scheduling me and taking my money then she tells me really rudely that she doesn't have time for that and I asked her if she wanted to reschedule me since she didn't inform me of that before making me the appointment she said that the money was going to be lost anyhow , and never asked if I wanted to reschedule ! She made me waste work time , gas money , and the deposit money ! I know what is like to work with clients having good costumer service ! This person does not have any of this . She was not nice about it and more likely she was rude when texting me back mocking my questions. You don't have to deal with this type of people and bad costumer service !!!!
