DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I drove 1.5 hours ready to buy a car I had been coordinating with Candido about. I confirmed the exact time and day I'd arrive and made it clear I was coming from far, so I wanted my time respected. I asked if the car had any damage, and he said no. When I got there, the car wasn't even on site it was at another dealership, and I had to wait over an hour for it to arrive. Once it did, I saw damage on the rear and side mirrors. I was disappointed but still willing to move forward. Candido then had me speak with multiple people, and my partner and I were asked to wait by someone else. Even though we arrived early, before it got busy, Candido didn't even acknowledge us at all. We sat at his desk for nearly an hour with no communication while he walked in and out. Other customers were also left waiting. After nearly three hours since we got there, we left. This was the worst dealership experience I've had, and I won't be returning. Such a waste of my time. Before having these "sales events" they have to make sure they actually prepare with sales people for people who actually want to buy cars!!! Wouldn't recommend this place. Bunch of time wasters here! Frank specifically. I had been messaging with Frank via text for a couple of days and agreed to pricing on one of the vehicles on their lot. Unfortunately I live 1 hour 30 minutes away and made the trip to test drive the vehicle and finalize paperwork. He failed to provide any sort of friendliness throughout my time there. He also failed to even have the vehicle on the lot when I got there. I had to wait an extra hour for them to receive the vehicle from their Los Banos location. I still tried going through with the purchase just because of the price we agreed to via text and condition of the car. He then tells me he is unable to go through with the deal because I am financing through my local credit union and cannot provide me a title on the car. You make an appointment and drive 2 hours only for them to say "car's not available" & "I texted you." How is your communication so inconsistent that you don't even call your appointment. You call & call & call, but don't call when it actually matters. Salesman asked me countless times "which car were you looking at" after multiple conversations saying I am inquiring about car "x". With a ghost town of a dealership there is no way you forget leads for the cars you're selling. You can tell nobody takes their jobs/business seriously here, they are just waiting around for someone to scam. Don't get me started on the manager that says "Lojack is non-negotiable" & proceeds to say "we can work something out." Traveled to Los Banos to buy a car. I paid full price and then they told me they would not sell to if I did not also purchase a lojac security device at an additional cost. Also did not give me a second set of keys as promise. Then after purchase and after I receive my pink slip they sent me another bill for previous liens. My bet is that they forgot to check for prior liens and tried to pass it onto me.You cannot do that without notify the customer first and provide the total cost the liens. Purchased a car from these guys including an extended warranty. The buying experience was pretty bad, but I gave them a pass. Our first repair happened shortly after we purchased and they gave unsatisfactory customer service. In the process of my second repair. We dropped off our car in the morning and we were assured they would get it done by close. At closing the car was in "undrivable condition" and they waited til 6 pm to inform us this was happening so we had to scramble and pay $200 for a rental we were told they would not assist us with. Attempted to call the service center today, which was closed, and I asked if I could explain our bad experience we were having. They hung up on me. Don't buy from these guys. Very disappointed with my service, only received one key upon purchase. They charged me additional money(like $1000) above msrp for low jack which we did not want, would not remove it. They sold us an additional warranty and keep telling us repairs are "regular maintenance" (what is relearn throttle body, never needed this maintenance in the past for any car) and will not cover a rental even though their lies or poor information caused us to require one. I also looked up this repair and it does not require taking the vehicle apart so idk what they are doing. Absolutely terrible customer service. Please choose anywhere else. I cannot believe they hung up on me rather than hear my experience. When I called back to ask for a manager, they told me he would not be in until Monday and also refused to give the names of who was working so that I could give an accurate depiction of what happened. read more

I want to mention something about the service department of western motors the staff there were very helpful, however when I took my other car in for repair (air conditioning) it only needed a relay replaced, while it was there they indicated I needed my transmission serviced, serpentine belt replaced, battery replaced, and spark plugs replaced. I thought they were honest with me but once I researched the fact that they put NGK regular spark plugs in the car and told me they were $34 apiece for factory plugs when they were not really upset me also they wanted to charge me $368 for a battery with a 72 month warranty. Those batteries are interstate batteries and they're never no more than $168 with that type of warranty, I understand trying to sell it in service attention but the price of what all took place on my car was quite the amount of a total of 1100.00 this is ridiculous. Since I got my car back it has had a alternator issue that I discovered but when I took it to them, they said that they didn't find any problem with it. I don't know that they checked it out because I had it checked out professionally with the machine and it is no longer good I'm not very happy with them standing behind their work as well as taking care of a customer who has been loyal to them for years. We found the truck my son wanted on their lot and there was no negotiation on price whatsoever . They wouldn't come down 100.00 . Qualified buyer, financing already approved with 14,000 to put down, a dream buyer and they wouldn't give an inch on anything . So we purchased the vehicle, it wasn't overpriced but I always felt that there should be some give and take when negotiating for a vehicle . Next problem , the DMV fees seemed high, When I inquired as to why " oh that's just what it is"we were told , well, that's a dumb answer. I looked up the fees myself using the VIN number of the vehicle , on the DMV website and what I found was that the vehicle had penalty fees for late registration totaling 330.00 . Why should I pay for late fee penalties on their vehicle ? Well , guess what , they wouldn't budge on that either, they said the fees including penalties " follow the new buyer" I knew this was BS. My son really wanted this vehicle , it was his money but by now I was fuming at them being such jackasses that being the Mama Bear that I am I badgered them into giving him a tank full of gas , new floor mats and a detail and called it a day The salesperson has no authority whatsoever . It's that guy in the back that's the shot caller on every little thing . Good relationships are formed with concessions by both parties. From them trying to sell me the car initially for more than online price, to them doing a hard pull on my credit while processing paperwork(when they said they wouldnt) Because I was paying cash for the vehicle!!! With an insincere "Sorry I don't know how that happened, nothing we can do now" They started off like they gave a shit, but went downhill fast once I refused their expensive extended warranty. Miguel and Columbo really were the sales people I've ever had to deal with. Brought car back to detail as it was done poorly to begin with as per our agreement with Columbo as well as being told we would leave with a "Full tank of Gas" as he stated they do for every customer. When we picked up, not only did it have less fuel than when we dropped it off. It had almost 300 additional miles on it than when we left it. We checked as we drove it the day before. All and all not a good experience, will not be recommending. Worst experience ever, purchased a car. They told me I was not responsible to pay for registration or plates that all that was included in my loan with my loan servicer. Carpet is coming off, car has missing parts, scratches that were supposed to be fixed didn't get fixed. This has been the worst experience ever I continue to ask to speak to the manager and I get routed with different people. Everyone that works here is extremely rude!!! Best sales people I've encountered. Before I eventually bought my car from here, I went to a few dealerships and was turned off by all the sales people I had encountered who treated me like I was naive and tried pressuring me into making a purchase. I gave up for the week but then saw a Kia from the street that caught my eye in Western Motors. The sales people were extremely easy going and helpful. The manager was friendly and very informative. They even showed me a history report on the car. Bottom line: the staff is excellent, the selection was vast (they have an extra dealership across the street to pick cars from), and most importantly their prices are incredibly low. The owner of this place has no respect for the dealings of his employees. Our truck was stolen and totaled by the insurance company, so we have been looking for a truck. We found 2 that we liked and could afford. We told the salesmen right from the beginning that we could not finalize a deal until we received all the money from the insurance. We have talking with the Salesman who was pushing to make a deal. So yesterday we picked a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4 x 4. We again reminded them about the insurance money, the deal was $500 to hold the truck until the money came, which would be probably Friday. No Problem, a handshake and 500 to hold and the Salesmans reply Thank you, you just bought you a truck. Well, today we got a call from the finance person, the owner was there and said to call us and give us our money back, no deal, wants the truck back on the lot for sale that he had other people who want the truck. So, thank you to the finance department, he tried his best to change this guys mind, Thank you Sal, we really enjoyed working with you. Waste of time and gas and very sketchy I have been shopping around for cars online and I found a few cars that I may be interested in at this dealership. I decided I'd go down and take a look at them in person. I've been to several dealerships before so I know the usual run down. I was greeted, they asked me what I was looking for, etc. I looked at several cars on the lot and found three that I liked. As I was checking out each of the cars I got a new sales person. I wanted a car that fit what I was looking for. My family knows quite a bit about cars so I thought it was reasonable to talk over the cars with them. Before I left the 2nd sales person I had been talking to gave me his card and even offered to bring the car so my family could see it. So after I talked with my family I came to a conclusion of what I wanted to do. I contacted the 2nd sales person and let him know I was the person who looked at the cars yesterday and wanted to talk about them. I let him know I wanted to make an offer. After I let him know that I wanted to make an offer he said "ok nice come on down and let's work a deal." I get all my stuff ready to go and go down there. When I get there the 3rd sales person approaches me. I tell him that I was talking to 2nd sales person and was he there. Of course he wasn't... even though he told me he would be. I talked with the 3rd sales person and showed him the car. I don't think how I was going to pay for the car matters, but I think it has something to do with the experience I received. I decided that I was going to pay cash for the car as my preferred payment method, but I was open to financing. When they wanted to pre-approve me I let him know that I'd rather pay cash. Immediately after the 3rd sales person found out I was going to pay cash his attitude changed. If they are not interested in accepting cash they need to let potential customers know. He had the car pulled up on the screen and said he was going to show me the final cost. I told him that I was going to make an offer. (The 2nd sales person knew I was going to make an offer). I think it's fair I make an offer. He didn't even listen or care what my offer was. (For all he knows it could've been a little less than ask, but he won't know because he didn't let me give him an offer). He told me he can't accept offers because it's already on sale and he would only make $79 profit at its current price. This is a common thing dealers say so he wasn't fooling anyone. The car was not marked on sale like others on sale and it was around or higher than similar cars at competitor's dealerships hence why I wanted to make a fair offer. When he told me that he didn't want to hear my offer and gave me that story I told him that's okay then and I walked out the door. Completely wasted my time and gas. I did not disclose their names because I'm sure they're good people, but they're bad at business. Any smart business would've listened to my offer and not lie to me. However, I came into the situation knowing how dealerships operate. They are in this sales business. Overall sketchy experience. Would not recommend. read more

After the truck I saw online had a big dent on the other side they didn't show, proceeded to push me in that I wanted it. Once getting offered with a high interest rate and bad staff experience I proceeded to get in my pickup and overheard the guys in the lot talking bad about me and how potential customers like me are a joke. Fast forward a couple weeks later I figure I went to their neighbor Choice Motors (didn't know they had same owners and staff till after the fact) which looked good from the start till 6 months in started seeing where they tried fixing paint and covering the body errors, not to mention the big dent in the bed they they covered and promoted as a "brand new plastic bed liner". Now with a rust spot, paint and body coverups I have to now fix these problems out of pocket.
