Man, these guys really helped me and my family on a recent road trip. Two days before a trip to Yosemite with the family, I completed a radiator replacement on my Landcruiser with 300,000 miles. I didn't do enough research to learn that the radiator has a transmission oil cooler circuit and when I disassembled everything I lost a little bit of ATF. 100 miles into our trip I kept smelling ATF and was worried that I had lost enough to break the cooling the circuit and thought maybe the transmission was over heating. I stopped into the Countryside Tire and Brake station and the store manager, Enrique, recommended I stop by and see if Omar and his team at Turlock Transmissions could help me. I spoke with Omar and he had two of his guys throw my truck (with all the gear and bikes) onto a lift to check the level and put me at ease. His team discovered that the transmission was perfectly full, but also that one of my power steering lines wasn't tightened and was leaking ATF (Toyota uses ATF in my truck's power steering) and that was burning off and causing the smell. That's haven't been keeping me informed the only way I get any information as if I call them they don't ever call me and tell me what's going on what they found how long I got nothing ever and the guy tells me Friday. Oh, we got your part in for your truck. I just gotta put it in test drive it. It should be done by Monday. I called him today. The guy says oh it's not here. I ordered it over three weeks ago, but it's not here. It takes you a month part ticket from Florida to here. Come on man you guys service sucks. I've had my transmission torn out and trying to rebuild three times now since I took it to you guys so good at rebuilding don't you think it would've worked the first time I for what I paid over six grand for a rebuilt should've been a brand new one in there anyway read more

They held onto it for two weeks before doing anything then when I went to go get my truck with a tow truck they did not want to give me my vehicle back. Called this guy Rick told him about my trick skipping, he tells me over the phone the worst case we would have to pay would be $3800, told him we needed the truck for work he told us by Friday he would have it done first priority my mechanics will work on it ASAP (Brought it on a Tuesday) even told us that if we were running late he would stay open for us to get our truck, this guys is the WORST at communication! He told me he would give me a final quote within an hr, never called I had to call him the next day to see what was going on. Friday comes nothing no phone call no update, we call in to find out the part is not in stock till Monday, we had to rent a car kept extending the days because this guy Rick didn't and couldn't tell us a exact day when it'll be ready. We had to keep calling in to ask when it would be ready! I had to call in to find out finally on Monday to find it to be ready on Tuesday before 4:00! We tell him we are going to be there a little after 4, He tells me I can't stay open pass 4! My wife doesn't allow me to work passed that meanwhile All his mechanics are all still working! I paid $3000 to rebuild my F250 diesel truck . The warranty was 2 years or 50K miles. Which ever came first. After putting 32,000 miles on my pick up. It started to act up, two weeks after my warranty had expired , the owner did not want to entertain the fact of helping me in anyway to fix the problem. I brought my pick up to him and he asked for a week to see what the problem was. When I was told that there was much more work then needed to be done, I went to pick up my truck, my battery was dead and he had the audacity to charge me $200 for A part that he changed on my truck. Mind you he never gave me a call to let me know what is wrong with it or if would you like me to service your truck. When I asked what part was changed his mechanic wasn't able to give me a straight answer . AWKWARD!! I will never take my truck back there again or refer anyone to his business. read more

What a joke this guy was. Owner Rick. Said I needed a total rebuild for my 2010 Chevy truck. Went on and on about how long he's been in business and his rebuilds he does alot of extra things. Said it would take a week. 2 weeks later with no calls and renting a car and I went down there. And finally got my truck. $2950. And he writes it up so he says there's no sales tax (shady). After driving it 2 days. Transmission slipped. I rented another car. And 2 and a half weeks later he said it was fixed. Still not right. They guy is full a sh.....t. Don't waste your time or money.
