We always bring to Sammy to service the car of my wife. This place is very convenient since it is open on weekends. Sammy is also very personable and easy to deal with. They also have AAA discount which is a plus! Will definitely be back again! read more

I can't thank Sammy enough for the incredible help he gave me when my car suddenly broke down on my drive home from the Bay Area. After stopping at a stop sign, my car wouldn't accelerate past 20 mph, and I ended up having it towed to his shop. Sammy quickly figured out the issue, my car had completely run out of oil, which ended up damaging the VVT solenoid and knock sensor. What really stood out was how clearly he explained everything to me. I had no idea my car was burning oil faster than normal, especially since I still had over 3,000 miles left before my next scheduled oil change. He took the time to educate me, recommending I come in every 1,500 miles to keep an eye on it going forward. Most importantly, thanks to Sammy's expertise and quick action, my engine didn't seize, which could have been a much bigger (and more expensive) problem. Honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, I highly recommend Sammy to anyone who wants a mechanic they can trust! read more

I came 1hr and 45 minutes away to arrange a pre-purchase inspection on a car I was excited to buy from a private seller. I'm so thankful for Sammy's help to look over the condition of the car and provide honest feedback on what was needed for overall maintenance and minor things he found to factor into the purchase of the car. I felt well informed and confident to move forward with the purchase thanks to his help. If I lived closer to this shop, I would definitely work with them to service my car. The prices are fair and the communication and work is excellent. The shop is a certified AAA location that worked out perfectly for my needs. Thank you Sammy! read more

They are professional, efficient & reaonably priced. I had an oil change don't to my 2003 Honda accord. It has 230,000 miles.

I've been going here for years and continue to love it! I usually try to do whatever work on my car that I can, but if it's something I can't do this is the place I always go to. They are awesome! Very fair pricing and they are always answering any questions I have about my car. Just want to give them another thank you for all their hard work! read more

Took in my 2003 Ford Mustang based on yelp reviews and past referrals. Received excellent customer service. My car was fixed and was able to pass smog. The repair cost was affordable compared to other places I had received quotes from. These mechanics are truly honest and dependable!!! Will be using them for all my auto needs and you should too! Hard to find good mechanics this days. Truly Recommend them!! read more

I used to always take my car here and there to get work done on it. I found Turlock auto service a few years back while I was looking to have work done on my Mercedes, they had the best price compared to anyone else I had called and am so happy that I found them. They did a great job and I couldn't be happier with their work. I continue to go there now for any work that I need done. They're always very fair and do not overcharge like so many other places. Overall this place is great and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a honest mechanic shop. Also, they're very respectful and have the best patience if you are like me and don't know much about cars but insist on asking a million questions. read more

Great customer service and cheapest in town so far nothing bad to say from the first call until receiving the service itself.

Everytime I'm there it has been pleasant. Hard to trust just anyone with your vehicle when you have to take it to a mechanic but were able to trust this place pretty well. Thank you read more

Turlock Auto Service has amazing customer service, Sammy will show you the issue with your car and explain it. I truly appreciate the detail they put into their work. Turlock Auto Service is affordable and a trustworthy place to get your car up and running again. They go above and beyond to help the customer get the right price for their budget. Great communication and if it's going to take a few hours they will provide you a ride home. Thank you Sammy! read more

We took our truck in for some work this place did awesome job looking into our problem. The owner is very kind and helpful

My sons car broke down on his way from Sacramento to LA. Sam took him into the shop, took care of him, took care of the car. He stayed open a little bit later while I picked my son up. Sam provided honest information, honest repairs in a timely manner. It's not easy to find someone trustworthy who just wants to make a living and help people, thats the feeling I got at this shop. Thanks Sam read more

This is the go to shop for my BMW. They are always quick, courteous, and willing to work with you. Also very knowledgeable about cars, they'll tell you exactly how it is and what you can expect from your vehicle. Great prices, great service. Thanks guys! read more

Service was quick and friendly for a oil change. In and out in about 1/2 hour. Prices are also fair.

GREAT SERVICE! In need of an oil change really bad and let's just start with the best price in town! I came in right when they opened and they completed it within 30 minutes or so. It was embarrassing, I actually forgot my card and I was worried how I'd pay. They were so kind and even offered me to pay later but thank goodness for Apple Pay! I'm so satisfied with their service! I will definitely be back here for my next oil change! THANK YOU!!! read more

My belt on my Toyota Camry would squeak whenever I would turn it on in the morning or turned on the A/C. So I brought it in and then ordered the part, switched it out and I was out of there in less than an hour! Very quick! Staff was very nice and friendly and didn't try to push any unnecessary repairs. I recommend Turlock Auto Service for all your car repair needs! read more

These guys are great from a new engine to a oil change . Honest and straight forward.

This is definitely the most affordable and reliable place to service anything! They always have my FR-S back to me sooner than I expect it, even when I replaced my clutch. I called every shop in turlock and neighboring cities and not one could replace the entire clutch for less then 1600$, and some shops even tried to convince me to resurface the dual mask-flywheel rather than replacing it which would have my car back in the shop in no time, but Sammy won't do a job unless it's done right. They had it done in less then three days for under 1200$ using Oem quality parts that surrounding shops weren't going to use. Small or big repairs theyll make it easy and have you done quickly! If I swap an LS motor in the Frs I'm coming here! read more

We pulled into my in-law's place in Hilmar right as our Odyssey lost complete power on a Friday afternoon. I called the nearest dealer to help me troubleshoot and possibly set an appointment to repair, but due to Covid-19, their service department was on reduced hours and not open weekends. I called Turlock Auto and the owner, Sammy, narrowed down the problem over the phone (bad alternator) and made arrangements to receive it and get the repair done. We had the van at their shop that evening and they finished the diagnosis--turned out they were completely right about the alternator. We had originally planned our trip to be just over the weekend and Turlock Auto ordered the part and made the repair the next day to keep us on our original vacation timeline. Great service and great communication along the way. Thanks, Sammy! read more

I originally bought my '04 Chevy Avalanche from Scott Davis Auto. This is their go to mechanic, who from the minute I walked in the door(actually from the phone call before that), they were helpful and knowledgeable. They walked me through the problems and had me out in a day. I have gone back three times within the last year and these guys get me in and out. The dash gauges needed repair, the engine heads needed new sensors, the temperature gauge in the heater/engine needed replacing. Now I'm taking it in to get my power steering pump replace. These guys have under scored the cost for me and I have left happy each time. Now they know my truck, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend this auto shop. read more

Sami and people here were very nice polite and patient. Very straight forward and to the point. Definitley recommend this place if you are in Turlock and in need of your car getting fixed read more

I walked in here about a week or two ago with an issue in my engine. I was assisted as soon as I walked in and explained to them that my engine was making a weird noise. Turns out one of my hose clamps fell off, so they put another one back on and I was out of there in less than 25 mins, without a charge. They are really nice people and would highly recommend going to them. :) read more

I want to thank Turlock auto service for changing my burned motor in my 2008 bmw they had found me a motor with only 30K miles on it, gave it back to me in a week in a half, outstanding work couldn't be any happier. I recommend Turlock auto service to anyone read more

The best service in TOWN!!! Top notch employees! I took my truck in for plenty of things in the past and have never been disappointed! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Sunday afternoon I was sitting at a local resturaunt, ate with family, then got back into my car. Tried to start it up and nothing. I got a friend to jump the car but as soon as we took the cables off it died. So I looked up shops near by and came across them. Called the number and wasnt expecting anyone to answer on a sunday but they did. They got a tow truck to bring the car in and change the starter and battery. I also got the oil done. It was an amazing experience. Not a single shop would go out of there way on a sunday to help anyone out. They did and gave me an excellent price. I will be using them from here on out. Thanks guys. read more

Great family with excellent service. They are great on prices and are always willing to help you out. The owner had actually came to my house one day and fixed my car at the house I saved 150 dollars and didn't have to call a tow truck. Very well experienced and bar certified. These guys are the real deal I would highly recommend them. read more

5-stars, hands down. We've been going to Turlock Auto Service for the last 3 years and always been satisfied with their work. Terrific service, dependable and honest. What more can you ask for when looking for an auto repair shop? Highly recommended. AAAA++++ read more

Professional and courteous service and the service is outstanding, prices are reasonable, up front with the repairs needed. wouldn't go any place else for all my auto repairs read more

With my experience here, I would not recommend that anybody take their vehicles here. We spent almost $1000 in repairs and expected quality work. After we ended up having issues a week later, they didn't take any responsibility and we ended up taking it to another shop to get diagnosed. They confirmed that the issue were caused by the work the mechanics did here. We also found stripped bolts and parts pieced together. I don't mind issues arising after work is done, since not everything ends up perfect, but I did expect for this business to own up to their mistakes and to make it right. Shady business.. read more

Wow! Where do I start. This shop is hands down the most honest I've ever been too. My Chevy was having these weird sputtering issues that I could not figure out. I took it to a few shops before I came here and they gave me some crazy prices so I held back. A friend of mine recommended Turlock Auto Service and man it was a hell of a recommendation. They figured out my problem in in no time and it turned out to be a dirty injector. They have a really cool injector cleaner there at the shop and the car is good as new now. OH! and one more thing...they washed my car for me before I picked it up! These guys are great I would recommend them to anyone! read more
