Why is the owner not supervising these young technicians? They have very little experience and should be supervised by experienced in licensed mechanics. When I picked up my vehicle, the alignment seemed way off. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the work they performed, but they certainly took the two front rims and tires off the vehicle. All I can tell you is my steering wheel was jiggly back & forth driving over 60mph. As a result, I have to take my suv to a tire shop for a wheel alignment. Another $100 bucks.

I was driving to the store in the afternoon when I heard meowing coming from inside my car. I pulled over to try finding the source of the noise, and sure enough a kitten had crawled up under my car and gotten itself stuck. I went to Lander Auto and Hilda immediately put my car on the lift and began the rescue mission. 45 mins later, she was able to retrieve the kitten unharmed. You could tell she had done this before and cared about the animal getting out safely. Now here is the best part. They refused to take any payment. Hilda said they were just happy to rescue an animals life and it was the right thing to do. We took pictures and she had me out of there with my new kitten in no time. Update: January 3rd, 2024; Happy New Year!…read more It was an even brighter Happy New Year because Roger the owner diagnosed the why; my vehicle of 2005 was sputtering and choking out each time I tried to start it. It finally died so I phoned my auto insurance at Nationwide Insurance, and arranged for a tow from my home to his shop. Diagnoses: Filthy gas tank and a ill functioning fuel pump. Out the door I paid less than 50% of what I would have been charged by Roger diagnosising the issue at no cost. Old School. Love that! Vehicle is running great once again and since it's my only mode of transportatoin that I own; I'm so grateful for Roger & his Wife who runs the desk. Thank you both for true customer service and follow through at affordable pricing. What a value as I live on a very meager income due to being disabled.
