I was considering purchasing a pickup truck about 100 miles away from me, near Turlock, and wanted to have a mechanic take a look at the vehicle before I made the trek. For a very reasonable rate, Jacob (the owner) had one of his guys out the same day to do a full vehicle inspection along with photos and a recommendation for me. The mobile mechanic aspect is awesome and was a big time-saver for me. I ended up buying the truck that afternoon, and then had Jacob install a trailer hitch on the truck right after the purchase. The price quoted was half of what I had been quoted elsewhere and ended up being more difficult to install than expected, but Jacob kept his word and didn't try to increase the price mid-way through the job. read more

Cannot be beaten for service and quality of work. This is the 3rd time I have called Jacob when I needed help with my car and once again he exceeded my expectations. My husband is a car guy and has always worked on our cars but due to health issues is no longer able to do repairs- he is very difficult to impress when it comes to matters of the car. He can't be fooled, knows when someone doesn't know what they are doing and knows when we are being overcharged. I want to share this in the hopes of preventing any of my friends from having to deal with the same issue. In early December, Jessica's had a belt break on her car. She lost her job due to COVID, and didn't have a lot of money, so we borrowed a jack and some stands, and she tried several times to complete the repair herself. I was very proud of her determination to try to figure this out on her own, but she needs to have a car, so I told her if she could find a mobile mechanic that would come to the house to fix it, I would pay for it. She found Premier Mobil Mechanic. He told her that since she had the belt and the car was already up on stands, he would charge a very reasonable amount to come out and put the belt on, so I called and provided my card information and we were on our way to what should have been a very quick repair. I won't get into all of the details, but let's just say they made three visits to our house that day, added on a charge for an additional belt, then told my daughter they couldn't repair that belt unless she brought the car to their shop. She took the car off the stands by herself and drove it to their shop on 12/14/20. They said the repair should be about an hour, so she was picked up and waited for them to call. Several hours later, at the end of the day, the shop owner, Jacob, called and told Jessica that one of the employee's had done something that broke a cylinder head on her car and that they would replace it at no additional cost to her. He told her at the time it would be about a week before he could get her car back to her. Over time, he has provided many excuses for not completing the work, including that this employee broke many things he had fix and that his shop was broken into and many high-end stereo's were stolen. Here we are months later. She hasn't received her car back. She has done everything to try to resolve this issue with the shop owner, including extending an abundance of patience. I have explained to him that she is a single-parent and desperately needs to have her car running, but that hasn't had any impact on this situation. Jacob has stopped answering phone calls from our number or responding to text messages. It has become clear that he is not interested in trying to do the right thing and fix this situation for her. We have bought her a new car (this one is still sitting outside of this business). She is no longer interested in any resolution, she wouldn't drive it even if he fixed it at this point, nor would she sell to anyone if she doesn't trust it to drive herself. We really just want to be sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. After I shared this review on the business Facebook page, the owner deleted it and changed the Facebook page. read more

I paid $100 for a vehicle inspection because my car was making a grinding noise, they didn't even take 2 minutes looking at it before the owner (Jacob) test drove my car, he drove terribly, braking hard and accelerating for no reason, when the test drive was done he told me that it was a simple tire rotation so I got the tires rotated the very next day and the noise did not change whatsoever, scam. read more

Yesterday my daughter who is attending Cal State Merced discovered her car would not start. I am in Southern California so could not come running the the rescue. I went on Yelp to find a mobile mechanic in the area. Premier Auto was the highest rated and I read the reviews and decided to give them a call. First off they told me that there was probably someone closer to Merced and I would save some money if I went with someone more local. That was the first big sign to me that I was dealing with someone who believed in fairness and honesty. I said I would rather work with them and they agreed. I explained what i thought the problem was and they made arrangements with my daughter to come and fix the car. After they were done they send me a picture of their excellent work and were able to handle the payment over the phone. The price was more than fair. I feel a lot better now, knowing I have someone to call if my daughter has anymore car issue. As a dad having your kids out of arms reach is stressful enough. My vehicle was involved in a collision on a Saturday and I had my car towed to their shop on Sunday. That Monday they gave me to quote for the repairs which was fair and reasonable considering the amount of damage that was done. They thoroughly explained what needed to be done and were very honest and answered any and all questions I had. I was referred by a friend and I'm thankful he steered me in the right direction. By far the best mechanic I've been to. They are high quality, dependable, professional and have great customer service. If I run into any more car troubles I will definitely coming back here. Whether it be major or minor car troubles they can handle it all. My car was at the shop for only a week total. Woke up last week to take my Hummer out for some shopping and when it started it sounded like the exhaust fell off.. very loud! Called premier mobile mechanic whom i found on Yelp and seen they could repair onsite at my house. They responded and was at my house in no time. Found an exhaust leak issue and repaired it onsite. I also had them complete a full servicing on my hummer, oil change, filters etc. very happy and would recommend them to anyone not wanting the hassle of scheduling dropping off a vehicle and the waiting around for shops to repair.
