Ok so I need to take back my review. We are so dissatisfied and disappointed with Victor at Merced Kia. For the most part salesman was good at selling us our car. But it was not his fault that Victor had him Lie and deceive us. Regarding the price of the vehicle We still very much enjoy owning our Kia, Victor gave us over $8,000 for our trade in But managed to take it back by having his finance manager change our paperwork by adding xtra fees that we did not see until they send us the computer chip that had all our info in. They say it's to avoid paperwork. But in reality it's so you perhaps don't notice what they did to hide the fees We went back to complain and ask for our monies that they pretty much stole from us Spoke with victor he promised us that we will receive back a sticker showing us why they charged us for the extra over $1,400 above MSRP still has not shown us we we got for this fee Never came. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Check all your numbers before you SiGN YOUR PAPERWORK. Thank you for reading this and Good luck By the way we do love our car. Just not this dealership. Shame on you guys for taking advantage of a good family. If this does happen to you . Do what we are doing filing a report to the DMV. As they stated we have rights for the dealership deceiving the consumer.

Great experience working with Christopher and Alex here! They're a new Kia dealership and didn't quite have all their systems up and running. Despite these challenges, they still got me in and out quicker than any other dealership I've worked with...even with a trade-in. Talk about efficiency. I've also learned over the years to do all the negotiations over email/text/phone call before heading there to sign the paperwork. It helped I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted (I leased an EV9 GT). Price wise, they beat all NorCal competitors by several thousands of dollars.

Our salesman Nathan was the best. Very patient and understanding. The whole team at merced Kia was very helpful and nice. Would recommend Nathan and merced Kia to my friends and family

When I got there, the car wasn't even on site it was at another dealership, and I had to wait over an hour for it to arrive. Once it did, I saw damage on the rear and side mirrors. I was disappointed but still willing to move forward. Candido then had me speak with multiple people, and my partner and I were asked to wait by someone else. Even though we arrived early, before it got busy, Candido didn't even acknowledge us at all. We sat at his desk for nearly an hour with no communication while he walked in and out. Other customers were also left waiting. After nearly three hours since we got there, we left. This was the worst dealership experience I've had, and I won't be returning. Such a waste of my time. Before having these "sales events" they have to make sure they actually prepare with sales people for people who actually want to buy cars!!! Wouldn't recommend this place. They sell damaged/dirty cars plus they have the worst sales people.

I purchased a wheel/tire warranty when I purchased my Tiguan. Popped tire on 4/27/26. I had the car…read moretowed to closest VW dealership. Informed dealer about wheel/tire warranty. On 4/27/26 around 11AM, I received a call from the service department stating my policy covered everything except for a $2.15 tire disposal fee. They said they would receive tire on 4/29/26. Received call around 3PM on 4/29/26, was told that they were putting on new tire and instructed me to come pick it up after work. Upon arriving at the dealership, service rep told me that they weren't able to get in touch with the tire warranty company and that they could not "release the car to me." I was then told to "file the claim myself and to pay the $350 or they would keep my car. The warranty instructions are clear: Take your vehicle to any dealership or state-licensed repair facility. Have the repair facility verify coverage and obtain a repair authorization number from Zurich before any repair is made by calling 1-800-491-5117. Submit invoice/repair order to Zurich verifying the authorized repair has been completed. Pay deductible, if applicable, and any non-covered expenses. Zurich pays the repair facility directly. So they did a bait and switch to extort money from me. Had I have known this would be the outcome, I would have taken it to another VW dealership.

Last time I was here, they couldn't figure out that the issue with the car was a spark plug... they held the car for over 2 weeks, didn't fix it and made me pay $2,500 Took it to a different mechanic and they figured it out. This time I had several issues with the car and asked for a diagnosis. Seems like there are several things that need to be fixed... fine but then they quoted me $7,500 which was more than I bought the car for... so I said no, how much to just take it home. Jim said $750... then later calls my wife and says he misquoted me and it would be $1,500... So I go to pick up the car and they forgot to give me back the whole key. When I tried to call someone about this, service sent me to voicemail several times and then said to try coming by tomorrow morning, because people are off work at 5pm, I called them at 4:25pm... . Update 2/11/23 Showed up to see if they can find my key. James said "check the center console, we may have put it in there..." checked and nope... checked the possible spots, nothing... they have my key and I want it back. I was told if they can't find it they will cut me another one. I get better responses in person. They were able to make a replacement key from my other key. It only took a few hours out of my Saturday morning. I don't like to dis on local businesses, but don't treat me in a way where I have to warn other customers. Buyers beware! Leaving 2 stars, but should really only be one.
