I am posting the same review I left for Merced Hyundai since they seem to be intertwined in business/lots: DO NOT GO HERE! Went here over the weekend and the woman who went with us on a couple of test drives, although just okay (she didn't show me ANYTHING on the cars at all...got the feeling she wasn't as knowledgeable), was not the one who was actually doing the sale. Once the test drives were done, she passed us to Mark who was incredibly pushy. I told him numerous times that I was only there to test drive and was willing to hear out ROUGH numbers only, but he kept insisting that I give all of my information to them to get accurate numbers and the best deal. I'm not at that stage yet, and he didn't listen to me once when I mentioned that. After telling us to "hold on" multiple times, he then brings over his incredibly eccentric and sleazy supervisor (maybe?), who also couldn't take "no" or "I'm only here for test drives" as an answer. On top of that, I'm the one buying the vehicle, yet they both kept looking over at and directing "questions" to the guy who was with me. It was very misogynistic, and it got to the point where I was feeling harassed because they didn't like the word "no", no matter how I said it or how many times I said it. They could give me the best deal out of any dealership in town and I still wouldn't go with them. Incredibly unprofessional and I honestly don't know what kinds of slimy fees they'd tack on without me knowing. These dealerships have gone downhill so much since I purchased a car from Kia back in 2012 or so. BE WARNED! read more

My 72-year-old mother returned a leased vehicle (from this dealership) to this dealership today. Kia Finance sent someone to inspect the car a week or two ago, and she coordinated with them for a day to drop it off. Everything was going ~'as expected' until we arrived to the dealership this morning. They had her waiting for about an hour for a scheduled appointment to sign a piece of paper and hand over the keyfobs. And when the Manager finally called her up to sign, I went to the restroom ... at which time he strongly recommended she pay for another month of insurance on the vehicle in case the car gets damaged on their lot, because "they aren't responsible" and she would be. And when I questioned that and pointed out that she obviously is not responsible for a vehicle she returned to the dealership after the lease had ended ... the gaslighting manager snarked at my senior mother, verbatim: "I'm sooo very sorry that I generously gave you a recommendation to help you out of the kindness of my heart" then tried to give her back the keys to the vehicle she was returning and told her "take your car." I contacted Kia Finance who immediately told me she is NOT responsible if something happens to the car in their possession and they gave me a number to call to report the dealership. My daughter purchased a car from this dealership, and in less than 30 days, the AC completely failed. We were quoted around $3,000 to fix it--on a car she had just bought. When we went back to the dealership expecting some level of accountability, they completely brushed us off and refused to help. It gets worse. After letting her take the car home and drive it for over a month, they suddenly claimed there were issues with the financing and ended up taking the car back. This should have been handled BEFORE they ever handed over the keys. Instead, they put my daughter in a stressful and unfair situation, only to take everything back like it was nothing. The customer service was just as bad as the situation itself. Calls were ignored or dropped, no one gave clear answers, and management showed zero urgency or concern. It felt completely unprofessional and disorganized from start to finish. This dealership takes no responsibility and does not stand behind the vehicles they sell. Please learn from our experience--read everything carefully and seriously consider going somewhere else. They need to train their whole staff. And their manager Victor was no help at all. Ok so I need to take back my review. We are so dissatisfied and disappointed with Victor at Merced Kia. For the most part salesman was good at selling us our car. But it was not his fault that Victor had him Lie and deceive us. Regarding the price of the vehicle We still very much enjoy owning our Kia, Victor gave us over $8,000 for our trade in But managed to take it back by having his finance manager change our paperwork by adding xtra fees that we did not see until they send us the computer chip that had all our info in. They say it's to avoid paperwork. But in reality it's so you perhaps don't notice what they did to hide the fees We went back to complain and ask for our monies that they pretty much stole from us Spoke with victor he promised us that we will receive back a sticker showing us why they charged us for the extra over $1,400 above MSRP still has not shown us we we got for this fee Never came. Worst Service Experience Ever We had the worst experience ever at Kia Merced's service department. Our vehicle was in their shop for two weeks, and Andrew never called back, even after we left several voicemails. It seemed like no one there wanted to do their job, especially when it came to contacting our extended warranty company. Every other dealership we've been to at least washes the vehicle before releasing it, but this one didn't bother at all our car was returned dirty, like it had just been sitting on a car lot. So in addition to never getting our second key that they promised us in front of four other people , We've owned it now for over 90 days and we have nothing from DMV and when we left the dealership, they put nothing on the windshield . So now we're having DMV investigate Merced Kia for a possible negligent contract. The manager of Kia told us that "that's quite normal", he also said that "this is a very large dealership and this happens all the time". I'm 62 years old. I was told that an aftermarket amp caused a loose wire in the drivers side door. The thing is my amp only powers a speaker box in the back of the vehicle. Nothing to do with the door.
