Wing and burger combo $15.99
Ty T.

I decided to go on a bike ride after work and cruised around the west Seattle area. I was hungry for some wings and this place popped up. I'm glad I stopped by, they had a combo special going on. I had 6 wings with any sauce I wanted, plus a cheese burger for $15.99. What a deal and the food was really good too. I'll be back more often as I tend to have cravings for good wings... For your info happy hour is Monday thru Friday 3-5pm and they have BOGO on wing Wednesday. Service was great also. Thanks

Absolutely love this place. Best wings in town. Chili lime is the best.

Best wings in West Seattle hands down. Chili lime is the way to go. Wing Wednesday is buy one get one half off.

Loved the hot honey chicken sandwich! Huge portion sizes and super flavorful. Waitstaff was awesome. We will definitely be back!

6 Classic Bone-in Wings. Creamy spicy buffalo. Medium spice.

Seattle isn't known for its amazing wings and in my opinion, these are about as good as it gets. I've had better wings in cities nearby, just not in Seattle. Maybe there are amazing wings hidden somewhere and I just haven't tried them. One thing that stands out here is the creamy buffalo sauce / regular buffalo sauce. It's just different and honestly I like it. Personally think they need a new name for it because I can imagine people who specifically want that buffalo sauce flavor, will not find it here. Instead it's more of a homemade spicy creamy sauce with a slight hint of buffalo sauce. Depending on the spice level you pick, the spice can vary. I thought the level of spice my medium spicy mess wings had was appropriate. When I was done I had a few small beads of sweat on my forehead. The lemon pepper wings I ordered actually tasted like lemon pepper. Very strong compared to most places I've been, but I really like a strong lemon pepper flavor on my wings. So easy to brush a bit off if it's too much. Harder to get them lemonier. So that's an another win in my book. The service here is just ok, don't expect anything fancy, but the servers helped me out just fine. I like their interior design and layout. Nothing fancy, but I did feel like I was in a wing den. The inside is on the smaller side, but they do have an outdoor patio area that you can enjoy on a nice day. Outside of wings they offer your standard American burger joint items. Burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, salad, etc. nothing stand out about this location but the homemade buffalo sauce luckily nothing failed me at this location. If you're in the area and want some wings, this might be the spot for you in west Seattle. Remember this is still Seattle so good luck finding parking. There's only street parking and many other businesses. I haven't had any trouble finding parking close by, just not right out front yet.

Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and more--West Wings brought the flavor to our Shayla celebration!

If you haven't been to West Wings, you're missing out on one of West Seattle's best-kept secrets. We ordered wings for a post-screening gathering, and they were a hit--crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The menu offers something for everyone--classic hot, sweet, and spicy, dry rubs, and bold house specialties that make it hard to choose just one. You can tell they care about quality--these aren't just wings, they're a complete experience. And the service? Top-notch. The staff was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready on time and piping hot. When you're coordinating food for a group, that kind of reliability makes all the difference. Whether you're looking for takeout, catering, or just a spot to satisfy your wing cravings, West Wings delivers--literally and figuratively. We'll definitely be back.

I just got charged a 3% fee here that was excluded from tip for the servers/cashiers/kitchen staff and goes only to the business. Why would I ever consider giving these guys money again? What a terrible move for these guys to share this. Posting everywhere so people are aware

Bourbon glaze

Street parking, and they allow dogs on the patio. Our server was kind, she played with our lil pup and gave him water. Wings are tiny with little meat, and price is high for what it is. We ordered the bourbon glaze and of course we had to try their house made buffalo sauce. The bourbon glaze was good, nothing special and little bland. Their house made buffalo sauce was not the one for me. The seasonings that were chosen to be in the sauce is an odd match and did not taste the best. The ranch and blue cheese dips was the savior for this meal. For the price, taste of sauces and the size of the wings- I'll pass.

Creamy Buffalo wings fried hard. Yum

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

The servers were all personable and surprisingly cheery for Seattle, they also didn't slack on the service, they were on it and I appreciated the quick friendly service. We could tell they just wanted to play some music, but because there were a few of us watching the Oscars, they were nice enough to let us watch instead of being jerks about it and just playing music. Really appreciated that as well, and no one asked them for this, they just read the room. I'd say this place is great for drinks. The food was alright, but we only had sandwiches and apps. Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The progenitor, Taurus Ox, remains on my not recommended list though! Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The service was very typical of the neighborhood--quick and not friendly, but not quite unfriendly. It's really easy to tap pay and get yourself waters, utensils, napkins, etc while you wait for your food. It is pretty small inside, but they've got a great little wooden patio with picnic tables and shade. We opted to sit out here, despite being pestered by wasps. The food was great for all adults involved. Portions of fries are generous and delicious, and come with fancy sauces (none of which appealed to me, but were appreciated by my family). The burgers are really inventive, so we all wanted to try the Lao. It's delicious. I did balk at $18 for just the burger, which is a smash patty (less beef) and I took the cheese, Mayo, and cilantro off. Eighteen dollars! No side, no drink. I might just be living in the past I guess It's really hard to order for kids here, imo. Even my non-picky kid was not about it and the toddler wouldn't try it. Thank goodness for fries, eh? They've got gluten free buns for no upcharge.
