Best chicken hands down. I have ordered from a lot of chicken places and nobody (outside of fast food chains aka Popeyes or jollibees) makes a better fried chicken than this place. Ordered through Uber eats. Waffles came cold but that's expected due to how far the driver had to go so I'm not complaining about that. As a southerner I'm impressed to see grits. Not some fancy version of it with a bunch of added nonsense but just a good serving of grits. Sheesh that made me so happy. The only knock I would say would be the patties and sausage links. They were just not to my liking. Bacon was tasty and home fries are yummy without any need of extra condiments. That's a testament to a great cook. The waffles are huge in size and delicious. I would like to thank this restaurant for the amazing food and making this southerner feel like I'm back at home. Will order from here again. Not sure if they have a lunch menu or not but I'd love to see them change over from breakfast to lunch/dinner menu. I can only imagine

Pretty decent breakfast place to grab a bite to eat. They serve Jurassic sized portions and their main breakfast menu items are out of this world good. I absolutely loved the French toast they had! Super fluffy and dangerously sweet. Really awesome place to binge eat if you like to get stuffed. They were out of waffles, so hopefully next time I can get some of that. The chicken itself was super large. Like man, it looked like turkey parts! The chicken wasn't too juicy and was on the verge of dry but it did taste quite good. The hot sauce they have is just Tabasco sauce. It kinda worries me that the fried chicken is just sitting under a heat lamp, tends to dry it out more. Maybe I'll come earlier when they make it fresher. All in all, a decent place. I'll be back to try their other breakfast platters.

My friend and I were going to grab coffee in North beacon hill and wanted to get some wings as well. Found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. We went on a Saturday at 12pm and it was not crowded at all. The place didn't look impressive from the outside, as others have mentioned, but the food is what counts. The 3 wings and waffle is a good amount of food and definitely satisfying. The wings were juicy, crispy, and nicely seasoned. The waffle was also crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I really enjoyed my hash browns with my eggs, toast, bacon, and link. Overall great food and service. Again, someone mentioned there is a small fee for using a credit card, but I had cash so it didn't matter to me.

    Yummy French toast!!

Started the meal with Sweet Potato Hoe Cake. This had cornbread like texture but felt softer, smoother, quite moist with a sweet honey butter syrup base. BBQ Shrimp tasted out of this world delicious: very fresh head/tail on shrimp cooking in garlic butter, Metier coconut porter. The good to the last drop sauce had bold flavors although quite salty, just perfect for dipping the focaccia in. Unc's Wing was equally exquisite: rubbed in a 13-spice blend, with perfect crispness and plump, juicy flesh beneath the coating. Butter-basted cabbage was a rare treat: basted with butter that accentuates the sweetness of caramelized cabbage. Miso butter sauce a great match. The drink I ordered was less intriguing: Kinfolk (bourbon, Jamaican, rum, Cynar, and pecan liqueur) was bourbon heavy, very balanced nonetheless just not memorable. The chocolate truffle was the only item we did not enjoy: it had hard shell and very dense filling.

We sat in a booth, the inside was so cool, clean and the server was so chill. We knew we're going to order fries and wings. The only qualm I had was with the loaded wings was that they stayed "blue cheese" not blue cheese dressing or sauce. We were expecting crumbles or something along that nature. The melted cheese and blue cheese sauce made it very wet and hard eat... you had to dig... don't get me wrong it was still good. Just misleading. The wings were good they do tell you that it's going to be a wait and they are small. And they are. So don't be surprised, make sure you order more or you will be hungry. I would go back! It was fun And the wings were yummy!

This is not a review I ever expected to write…read more For a long time, I genuinely enjoyed Vindicktive. I brought friends, family members, colleagues, employees, and business associates here on a regular basis--sometimes multiple times per week. The food, especially the wings, is excellent and one of the main reasons we kept coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service experience became impossible to ignore. What started as an occasional issue eventually became a consistent pattern of feeling unappreciated as customers. The more we supported the business, the more it seemed that basic hospitality, professionalism, and conflict resolution were lacking. Instead of feeling welcomed, many of us began leaving with the impression that our presence was tolerated rather than valued. What is most disappointing is that this isn't based on a single bad interaction. It is the accumulation of experiences over time, involving multiple visits and multiple people from my circle who reached the same conclusion independently. I believe every business has difficult days. Every employee can have an off moment. What separates great businesses from average ones is how they respond when concerns are raised. In my experience, there appears to be very little interest in understanding customer concerns or resolving issues in a way that leaves people feeling respected. As a Seattle business owner myself, I understand how difficult it is to operate in today's economy. That is precisely why customer relationships matter so much. Every customer chooses where to spend their hard-earned money, and every business has a responsibility to make people feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. The unfortunate reality is that Vindicktive currently feels less like a professionally managed business and more like an environment where personal dynamics often overshadow customer experience. Whether intentional or not, that perception has caused many people in my circle to stop visiting altogether. I take no pleasure in leaving this review. In fact, I delayed writing it for quite some time because I hoped things would improve. The food remains very good, and I genuinely wanted to continue supporting this establishment. My hope is that ownership reads this, not as an attack, but as an opportunity. Great food can bring people through the door, but great service is what keeps them coming back. Until meaningful changes are made, I can no longer recommend Vindicktive to friends, family, colleagues, clients, fellow downtown residents or visitors from abroad visiting for the 2026 World Cup or any other occasion that our great city host in the foreseeable future. 1 Star Review I am an Official Elite Yelper. It also only had 2 kinds of Vietnamese cold cut meats, which I didn't mind, but it needed more in there. There's a super thin layer of mayo and pate I think. Bread was very fresh! I give 3/5 Kimchi fried rice had good kimchi flavor. Portion size was large. 10 piece fried chicken (wings) was good. The skin was way fattier than I would've liked and it could've been fried longer to help melt some of the fat out and make it crunchier. It was super hot, fresh, and juicy though. Radish was free. It came with sauce but only on the side. Personally, I would want to try other korean fried chicken places to compare before coming back here again Waffle fries come with either ranch or ketchup. Large portion sizes! For all we ordered, it was around $55. Great price for the portions and variety imo. Service was outstanding as I mentioned. One older woman worker felt like she was my auntie. Flavor wise, it leaned more toward the sweeter side and was not very spicy. We ordered the full-size fried chicken, which allows you to choose two flavors. You can add a third flavor for $1, while the half order comes with only one flavor. We chose Golden Honey, a savory sweet sauce, and the Kalbi sauce, which has a Korean BBQ profile with a sweet soy flavor. For my taste, both sauces were slightly on the salty side. The server was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. They also let us know that we could ask for more pickled radish at any time, which was a nice touch. Also not going to lie, I don't know how it feel for a restaurant specializing in Korean Fried Chicken and is also selling Vietnamese Banh Mi. It made me question the quality of the fried chicken.
