Small Home Fries Breakfast, 2 Patties Breakfast, 2 Turkey Links Breakfast,2 Bacon Strips Breakfast

Best chicken hands down. I have ordered from a lot of chicken places and nobody (outside of fast food chains aka Popeyes or jollibees) makes a better fried chicken than this place. Ordered through Uber eats. Waffles came cold but that's expected due to how far the driver had to go so I'm not complaining about that. As a southerner I'm impressed to see grits. Not some fancy version of it with a bunch of added nonsense but just a good serving of grits. Sheesh that made me so happy. The only knock I would say would be the patties and sausage links. They were just not to my liking. Bacon was tasty and home fries are yummy without any need of extra condiments. That's a testament to a great cook. The waffles are huge in size and delicious. I would like to thank this restaurant for the amazing food and making this southerner feel like I'm back at home. Will order from here again. Not sure if they have a lunch menu or not but I'd love to see them change over from breakfast to lunch/dinner menu. I can only imagine

3 chicken pieces and French toast for $12

Pretty decent breakfast place to grab a bite to eat. They serve Jurassic sized portions and their main breakfast menu items are out of this world good. I absolutely loved the French toast they had! Super fluffy and dangerously sweet. Really awesome place to binge eat if you like to get stuffed. They were out of waffles, so hopefully next time I can get some of that. The chicken itself was super large. Like man, it looked like turkey parts! The chicken wasn't too juicy and was on the verge of dry but it did taste quite good. The hot sauce they have is just Tabasco sauce. It kinda worries me that the fried chicken is just sitting under a heat lamp, tends to dry it out more. Maybe I'll come earlier when they make it fresher. All in all, a decent place. I'll be back to try their other breakfast platters.

My friend and I were going to grab coffee in North beacon hill and wanted to get some wings as well. Found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. We went on a Saturday at 12pm and it was not crowded at all. The place didn't look impressive from the outside, as others have mentioned, but the food is what counts. The 3 wings and waffle is a good amount of food and definitely satisfying. The wings were juicy, crispy, and nicely seasoned. The waffle was also crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I really enjoyed my hash browns with my eggs, toast, bacon, and link. Overall great food and service. Again, someone mentioned there is a small fee for using a credit card, but I had cash so it didn't matter to me.

Yummy French toast!!

Will never go back. Came in one time for lunch to go. Chicken was dry and not tasty at all. Place was a disaster.

It is a small spot (sorta) so you kind of get in where you fit in. We ended up at the bar and honestly it worked out perfectly. Our bartender was friendly, engaging and just made us feel right at home. Another staff member came through at some point and was equally as kind. The service all around was great. Now let me talk about the food because that cabbage had no business being that good. I know that sounds random but it was my favorite thing and I did not see that coming. The mac and cheese was delicious, the fried chicken was really good, and my husband was all about the rice and black eyed peas (surprisingly). I also ordered a non alcoholic drink and even though I cannot remember the name it was really good too. The only minor thing was that one of the items, I think it was the hush puppies or cornbread, came out a little lukewarm. They mentioned it can be hard to keep that particular item hot, and flavor wise it was YUM so it was not a dealbreaker. Everything else comes out fresh as it's cooked so just know timing can vary by dish. It did get crowded toward the end and they politely let us know people were waiting outside. They handled it with so much grace it did not feel uncomfortable at all. I will definitely be back. Already curious about what will be on the menu next time.

This was hands down my favorite meal of my weekend trip. I found this spot through TikTok, and it…read morecame highly recommended. We didn't have a reservation, but after about a 10-minute wait, we were lucky enough to snag two seats at the bar. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The seating seems intentionally designed to bring people together, and you could see it in the mix of large groups, couples, and even solo diners. Like the name, it had a "communal" energy that made the space feel alive and intimate. The hostess, bartenders, and our waitress were all phenomenal. They were attentive and easy to talk to. Also, the playlist was good. It really added to the overall experience. We started with the sweet potato hoe cakes, and they were absolutely amazing. I loved the texture. They were soft, pillowy, and balanced. They weren't too sweet, even with the honey butter. I wish I'd ordered more to go because I haven't stopped thinking about them. I'll have to try recreating them at home. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed trout, and this is where things really took off. It's a whole fried trout stuffed with a seafood dressing (shrimp, catfish and oysters), and it immediately caught my eye on the menu. I'm not used to eating whole fish, and I don't think I'd even had trout before, but this dish was mouthwateringly good. The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The béarnaise sauce really set it off. There were so many layers of flavor and texture, and everything just worked together perfectly. On top of that, the presentation was stunning. I posted it on my Instagram story and immediately had people asking where my food was as from. This meal was very memorable. I have zero notes. The ambiance, food, music, and service were all top-tier. Side note: There is a 5% "communal" surcharge added to every bill. The money is used to support staff benefits, the support staff, and the line cooks. This is separate from the gratuity. This surcharge is clearly explained on the menu, and I really love and appreciate the transparency and that they care about the employees. But yeah. Super good. We love a good meal and we damn near left there skipping.

I was craving for crunchy fried chicken and this hit the spot. They were quick to prepare my order. The two side sauce you get are very small, but you get free daikon radish and slaw. While this is their Capitol Hill location, it's a little further out from the main area of CapHill. Washrooms (restroom for search keywords). Friendly service, but nothing over the top as they simply took orders and brought it fresh. They brought pickled radish out with the chicken which is standard, but the radish was very fresh, meaning they were harder, sharper in flavor, and not as flavorful as a result of not being pickled long enough. Starter Set - we opted for mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fries. Would love to see sweet potato fries here (another spot in CapHill proper does offer them) but love this combo for variety. Crinkle cut fries were tasty, nothing special. Mozzarella sticks were nice but lacked a cheese pull. Onion rings were the star of the trio, crispy, sweet, and totally delicious. Soy Garlic Chicken - half orders are about 10 pieces and full orders come with around 20, sometimes more. Chicken was juicy, tender, and sauce was just right. Great flavor! Similar to the Shoreline location, while the wings are a decent size, I feel that many Korean fried chicken spots have larger wings. Still tasty, but feels less competitive in the heart of Seattle.

It also only had 2 kinds of Vietnamese cold cut meats, which I didn't mind, but it needed more in there. There's a super thin layer of mayo and pate I think. Bread was very fresh! I give 3/5 Kimchi fried rice had good kimchi flavor. Portion size was large. 10 piece fried chicken (wings) was good. The skin was way fattier than I would've liked and it could've been fried longer to help melt some of the fat out and make it crunchier. It was super hot, fresh, and juicy though. Radish was free. It came with sauce but only on the side. Personally, I would want to try other korean fried chicken places to compare before coming back here again Waffle fries come with either ranch or ketchup. Large portion sizes! For all we ordered, it was around $55. Great price for the portions and variety imo. Service was outstanding as I mentioned. One older woman worker felt like she was my auntie. She refilled our water and checked in on us despite this being a place where you go up to order.
