This was a short visit to grab a beer and catch up with some friends, but it left a positive impression.The brewery is quite large, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Parking can be a challenge depending on when you visit, but we were fortunate to find a spot right behind the brewery. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our orders were taken quickly. The beers arrived promptly, and everything we tried was delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their selection, which makes me think it would be hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. We also shared an order of truffle fries, which were a great snack to go along with the drinks. An added bonus is that the entire restaurant is gluten-free, which is a huge plus for those with dietary restrictions or sensitivities. Was able to find street parking but that was pure luck. My friend and I split a delicious Alaskan cod fish and chips. We added a piece of fish so we could each have two. The fries were also very good, crispy and hot. We had the rotating ginger beer which was NA blackberry ginger - quite kicky! The fish in the fish and chips were pretty good, especially considering the breading was gluten free. The beers were really good, and they tasted lighter than usual. We got the hazy IPA and the meteor shower. My only complaint was that everything was pretty expensive, and that we waited around 10 minutes for the check to arrive after we told the waitress we were done. Stopped by this place on a very random brewery hop day while visiting Seattle. We sat at the bar and just enjoyed a few drinks. There were plenty of beers on tap (I don't really drink beer, but my friends said their beers were good). There's also a ginger beer on tap, I believe it's a rotating flavor, and I got that to try! Took 5min to get noticed when I'm literally standing by the "please wait to be seated sign." Did they hire these servers from the DMV? Second of all, the bar dude with glasses and mustache literally threw the coaster at me. I don't know what kind of overt aggression this was, but I did nothing other than waiting patiently to get noticed, and responding to their abberrant annoyance with please and thank yous. We were doing a tour across the street and decided to pop in before our tour. We got seated right away and ordered some fries and a beer flight. Our server explained each beer perfectly. The only downside was it took forever to just get the fries and our server hardly ever came back. All of the beers we sampled were great. We frequently drop by Ghostfish when in the city for events. You sacrifice nothing eating gluten free foods and drinking gluten free brews. The Watchstander stout is my standard. This time I had their special Ghostpepper burger. The heat built over time and hurt so good. My wife goes more tame with their fish and chips. The food always comes promptly and the staff are always awesome. We also held a small reception for our daughter's reception in their upstairs space, which was reasonably priced and a great experience for our 20+ person party. read more

If you are gluten free and you like bar type food, this is your home. The food itself isn't 5 star food, but it's delicious bar type food and it's gluten free and much of it is dairy free as well. It's not far from the stadiums and light rail. The onion rings are delicious beer battered type and so good. I also recommend the fried chicken sandwich. I will start on a positive note that the beer was delicious, atmosphere was cool, music bopping, and a pretty steady crowd. Was service the best? No but it was a Friday afternoon on a beautiful day, so I get it, an indoor/outdoor brewery is likely to get pretty crowded. Good for them. Little annoying but nothing that would typically make me pick up my phone and write a review. After a decently long wait for our wings, they arrived and were..disappointing. There was an extreme lack of sauce and absolutely not how you would picture a standard buffalo wing. Fine, the annoyance is starting to build and we requested some extra sauce and thought we would just fix them up on our own. Well, the sauce wasn't quite coating the wings but good enough. Biting into them was troublesome. They had an off putting taste, almost like extreme freezer burn but honestly, I have no idea if they were frozen or not. I would argue inedible. And then of course as I was biting in, bit into a piece that was literally not able to be chewed through. In an effort to not let our extreme hanger win, we stopped eating after two wings and asked for the check to get out of there ASAP. When it came, our disappointment was noted, we asked if that was how the wings always look and were told no. Not sure why the kitchen staff or wait staff didn't stop this order before it even came out. Instead of a simply nice apology, we kind of got a little bit of a sarcastic and insincere response. Note, we didn't ask for them to be comped, we didn't ask for a fresh order, we just wanted to let them know that their wings were disappointing and inedible. I don't normally like to start with a complaint on the internet but when you nicely try to let the restaurant know first and you get attitude from a server looking like a deer in headlights, this is what you get. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Good decor/overall vibe and pretty nice bathrooms. I don't drink, so I can't speak for the drinks, but those I was with said they were pretty decent. The food, however, was unfortunately very mediocre. I had a burger, and it was what tasted like a basic frozen food court burger. Not good quality, very overcooked, and completely tasteless. The bun was also exceptionally greasy. I expected higher standards for a 20 dollar price bracket burger. Party agreed that overall opinion of food was fine but generally a bit bland. "I'm home!" - Every person with celiac I've known of this place since I've had its beer before. Shrouded some has been one of my favorite beers for quite a while and I was really glad that the brewery was open when I was in town. I knew it was going to be one of the first places I went to. The amount of gluten-free options are amazing! It's very rare. I get to go out to a bar and drink or eat anything. This was my first time having onion rings ever. They were amazing by the way! My server's name was Allie, and she was pleasant to work with. She was very patient while I made my choices, she even made one of the recommendation for my beer flight, which was amazing. For food, I had the onion rings, the sweet potato taco, and for dessert I had tres lychee all of which were amazing. I didn't know what to expect for ambience when I walked in. I was expecting maybe a bunch of college kids, but I saw people of all ages, and everyone seemed to have a pleasant time and enjoy enjoying themselves as they should in life. A gluten free slice of heaven!! It's so rare to find a completely gf restaurant and then a gf brewery to boot? Seriously amazing! We were thankfully seated quickly on a Friday evening with a party of just two, even though it was very busy. I confirmed with the friendly server that EVERYTHING on their menu was gf because that's impressive and so rare. EVERYTHING is, including all of their beer! I haven't drank a beer in many years, so when in Rome, I ordered the Meteor Shower Pale Lager. The lager was cold, light, refreshing, and delicious. My gluten eating husband enjoyed it and ordered a second. We split the parmesan truffle fries. The fries were hot, crispy, and had just the right amount of truffle funk and parmesan. Finally gluten free fish and chips! I was very happy with my meal. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft and tender and flaky on the inside and everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. This place was amazing and worth the walk from the train station. I had the fish and chips and they were great, I don't normally eat fried food but it was 100% worth it. Portion was big too. When I saw that there was a 100% gluten-free restaurant in Seattle you can bet that I hightailed it here during this visit. My husband and I had dinner here on a busy Sunday evening and despite the busy, packed with family atmosphere, it was still a very friendly atmosphere with relatively quick service. I had not had onion rings in (probably 30 years?!) and so after I had seen that on the menu I knew that needed to change. I had asked the server what they recommended between the fish and chips or shrimp and chips; and while they recommended the shrimp and chips, they can't substitute onion rings for French fries. So instead I got the onion rings and a side of the fried fish. The onion rings were EXCELLENT. The fried fish were ... ok. That's the star taken off. I had to add salt to both, but the spicy sauce that came with the onion rings was great. Hubby got the mac and cheese that he loved and an IPA - he loved both.
