So much goodness
Elisabeth P.

This gluten-free mecca has all the most delicious pub food! Onion rings, fries, fish n chips, beer we reveled in them all! Service was quick and friendly and food came out fast. We say outside on a nice day at picnics tables and enjoyed our delicious baskets of goodness. My celiac sister says this is now her go to place when visiting the city.

Churros

We were in Seattle a few weeks ago scouting out apartments for my son. With my wife being gluten free, she always feels like the 3rd wheel when we eat out. Not this day. This stop was for her. And, she was in heaven...all the beer and deep fried food she has been missing for years. We started with beers (she had a taster flight) and quickly ordered -- onion rings, fish and chips, chicken tenders...and ended with churros. We loved everything we ate (and speaking as some who eats off both sides of the GF table...excellent). And the server was very welcoming and accommodating to all her questions and giddiness. Lovely location. Easy parking (esp for Seattle). The interior setting and atmosphere were very inviting, too.

Incredible GF menu- so many items not typically GF and done well!! loved the laid back atmosphere and vibe

Gluten free beer tasting

Who knew gluten-free could be this glorious? My wife was thrilled to finally have the run of the menu, and I--gluten-loving skeptic--left a full-blown believer. The beer? Bold, flavorful, and didn't taste like it was missing a thing. Fresh, creative, and way too good to be "diet friendly." Massive shoutout to Trevor, our server-slash-beer-spirit-guide. Friendly, fast, and clearly a fan of flavor. Bottom line: whether you're gluten-free by choice, by doctor's orders, or by proximity to your spouse--Ghostfish is a win.

We were doing a tour across the street and decided to pop in before our tour. We got seated right away and ordered some fries and a beer flight. Our server explained each beer perfectly. The only downside was it took forever to just get the fries and our server hardly ever came back. All of the beers we sampled were great. The two standouts for us were the Oktoberfest and the Hollywood Handshake. We would definitely pop back in if we were up in the area.

Awesome place , very good flavor on the food , fish and chips are great , cauliflower bites were tasty and on point . Bartender very nice .

I've been eating at Ghostfish Brewing Company for about three years now, and it's our go-to restaurant. I love that it's completely gluten-free, so it feels truly safe for me to eat there without worrying about cross-contamination. Being able to relax and enjoy a meal without anxiety about getting sick means everything. My favorites are the buffalo wings and the fish tacos, but the fish and chips are great too. Honestly, it's just nice being able to order anything on the menu without hesitation. Highly recommend, whether you're gluten-free or not!

Ghostpepper burger, Watchstander stout and fish and chips

We frequently drop by Ghostfish when in the city for events. You sacrifice nothing eating gluten free foods and drinking gluten free brews. The Watchstander stout is my standard. This time I had their special Ghostpepper burger. The heat built over time and hurt so good. My wife goes more tame with their fish and chips. The food always comes promptly and the staff are always awesome. We also held a small reception for our daughter's reception in their upstairs space, which was reasonably priced and a great experience for our 20+ person party.

Cool place!!! Sat outside and it was cool!!! Lady behind the bar was nice!! It took them a second to like seat us or whatever but it's fine I was delirious from being on a plane but the mac and cheese was

Couldn't even bite through this uncaused wing. Sorry for the half eaten chicken wing. Note, the sauce on the plate isn't from the chicken.

I will start on a positive note that the beer was delicious, atmosphere was cool, music bopping, and a pretty steady crowd. Was service the best? No but it was a Friday afternoon on a beautiful day, so I get it, an indoor/outdoor brewery is likely to get pretty crowded. Good for them. Little annoying but nothing that would typically make me pick up my phone and write a review. After a decently long wait for our wings, they arrived and were..disappointing. There was an extreme lack of sauce and absolutely not how you would picture a standard buffalo wing. Fine, the annoyance is starting to build and we requested some extra sauce and thought we would just fix them up on our own. Well, the sauce wasn't quite coating the wings but good enough. Biting into them was troublesome. They had an off putting taste, almost like extreme freezer burn but honestly, I have no idea if they were frozen or not. I would argue inedible. And then of course as I was biting in, bit into a piece that was literally not able to be chewed through. In an effort to not let our extreme hanger win, we stopped eating after two wings and asked for the check to get out of there ASAP. When it came, our disappointment was noted, we asked if that was how the wings always look and were told no. Not sure why the kitchen staff or wait staff didn't stop this order before it even came out. Instead of a simply nice apology, we kind of got a little bit of a sarcastic and insincere response. Note, we didn't ask for them to be comped, we didn't ask for a fresh order, we just wanted to let them know that their wings were disappointing and inedible. I don't normally like to start with a complaint on the internet but when you nicely try to let the restaurant know first and you get attitude from a server looking like a deer in headlights, this is what you get. Will not return. Like ever. This place left a bad taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively.

Fish and chips

Finally gluten free fish and chips! I was very happy with my meal. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft and tender and flaky on the inside and everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Comfort food for sure. I had my meal with a ginger beer and it was great as well. There seems to be a fair amount of seating inside. I don't know if you could fit a huge party on a busy night but 2-3 people are bound to find seating. Servers were polite. It's one of those restaurant where every server takes turn helping your table so you don't have a designated waiter.

"I'm home!" - Every person with celiac I've known of this place since I've had its beer before. Shrouded some has been one of my favorite beers for quite a while and I was really glad that the brewery was open when I was in town. I knew it was going to be one of the first places I went to. The amount of gluten-free options are amazing! It's very rare. I get to go out to a bar and drink or eat anything. This was my first time having onion rings ever. They were amazing by the way! My server's name was Allie, and she was pleasant to work with. She was very patient while I made my choices, she even made one of the recommendation for my beer flight, which was amazing. For food, I had the onion rings, the sweet potato taco, and for dessert I had tres lychee all of which were amazing. I didn't know what to expect for ambience when I walked in. I was expecting maybe a bunch of college kids, but I saw people of all ages, and everyone seemed to have a pleasant time and enjoy enjoying themselves as they should in life. Ghost fish brewery is definitely a highlight of my trip. I hope to come again when I'm in town again.

Does this place allow kids?

Yes this is an all ages place except sitting at the bar.

Is this a good place to watch football?

I would say so. I've gone there to watch the Mariners games and have had great sight lines to the TVs. There are screens for those sitting at the bar or tables near the bar . . . and then a larger TV in the side room too. Go for it.

A muffin didn't even make it home, I ate it immediately in the car. It was moist, fluffy, bright, and absolutely delicious. You would never know it's gluten-free. Truly bakery-quality perfection. I've been craving their cinnamon rolls for weeks, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. Soft, gooey, comforting, and indulgent in the best way. But the food is only half the magic here. From the moment you walk in, the space is filled with great vibes, amazing energy, and the kindest staff. Everyone was so welcoming, smiling, and genuinely happy, it honestly lifted my whole morning. They offer an incredible selection: fresh breads, focaccia, cookies, pastries, soups, sauces, Italian imported pasta, and more. It's the kind of place where you want to try everything. And then, when I was checking out, they gave me a box of gluten-free Cheez-Its. THE box. The one that's sold out everywhere. The one my husband and I have been searching for for weeks. I was overjoyed. That small, thoughtful gesture meant so much and perfectly sums up how special this place is. We live in Seattle, so it's not the easiest trip anymore, but between the incredible gluten-free treats and the exceptional service, we will absolutely continue making the effort to come as often as we can. Great people. Great food. Amazing energy. A total win, not just for Bellevue, but for the entire state. Thank you for creating such a joyful, welcoming, and delicious space.

Some of the restaurants on that list have gluten free options, not all of them are gluten free dedicated. We ordered the jalapeno cheddar quiche (8/10), spinach feta handpie (9/10), bacon potato quiche (9/10), pizza handpie (5/10), and the tiramisu (6/10). Tiramisu was very very dry.
