    The Wing (per piece)
    Annabel L.

Crunchiest chicken batter I've had to date It's a snap-crackle-pop-kettle-chip-kinda-crunch. I saw that it's gluten free so my theory is they use rice flour to get that airy yet satisfying crunch. Also why was I full after one wing.. #girldinner I saw someone else get the chicken on a stick and it's barbarically dense so beware! But I might try it next time. I wish they sold smaller portions of the sides because I'm not trying to add an extra $6 side of pickles but I lowk considered it at one point because I really wanted pickles with my chicken and I do wish the chicken came out like fresh-out-the-fryer-hot so I might have to clarify that preference.

Ordered online before we arrived and it took mere minutes (literally like three minutes) to get our food because of the advanced heads up. Ordered the spicy thighs and the meat was incredibly tender. The spice was for real as well. Ordered the crushed fried potatoes and found they were delicious. Loved the turmeric spicy sauce as well as the ketchup that was House made. Their selection of beers and ciders were inspiring. Service was super friendly and left the counter feeling really happy that we supported a local POC business. They have about eight tables give or take and it's street parking. It's a clean comfortable interior. Next time we're going to try the butter mochi.

Heard a lot about the Chicken Supply but since they usually open in the afternoon we didn't try before. We decided to order for takeout. The chicken is really good and delicious. Even for takeout, the chicken stayed crispy. The skin/batter was flavorful and the meat itself is brined to perfection The stick, unfortunately is just mid. It was a bit soggy by the time we arrive at home. The garlic rice is OK but if you are garlic adverse, maybe don't order this. The garlic flavor is a punch in the face, not just some mild garlic fragrance. The coconut collard green is delicious but can't help but feel collard green maybe a weird choice for Filipino Laing. Maybe kale would be better? The cold pancit is probably our least favorite item we ordered. The bihon itself is not seasoned and the cherry tomatoes is too sour (it was pickled). We'll definitely be back for more chicken in the future. PS. Depends on your preference, you may want to order the original than spicy The spiciness cones from extra pepper seasoning, instead of actually spicy batter for the chicken. We ordered original for the chicken and spicy for the stick so we can compare.

Yep! It's legit! All of it! Service- friendly, accommodating, and loves his job! Chicken is perfection and was even still hot when we got home! Garlic fried rice- chefs kiss! Ambiance was clean, and cozy if you can't wait to take a bite! Yummmm!

Some of the best fried chicken I've had in Seattle!! We ordered online and went to pick up! I would recommend ordering early because they do sell out! We got the chicken box, the coconut greens, garlic rice, and the mochi dessert. The chicken was perfectly crispy and unique! I was so obsessed and ate so much! They also make their own banana ketchup which made a nice compliment to the chicken! Overall, love this spot and will definitely come back again for more fried chicken!

I appreciate this place for their gluten-free fried chicken. For my friend who has celiac this is a lifesaver for her. She hasn't had good gluten-free chicken in a long time so this has become her go to spot. As a non-gluten-free person I still really loved their chicken. The pieces were gigantic and all the flavors were so yummy and flavorful. All the pieces were super tender and juicy and cooked well. I also got their dessert and that was yummy as well. The fried smashed potatoes were a top hit. Be warned that this is a small place so try not to come with a giant group because you will not fit. They could not accommodate our large group so we had to sit either squished or separately. They weren't able to combine tables across the restaurant for us. I'm not a fan of their automatic tip that is added to every bill though. I feel like we should still get a choice to add tip. I understand that they need to raise prices, but I feel like they should just raise the price of the meal instead of saying there is an automatic service charge added.

Restaurants like The Chicken Supply make me grateful that I live in Seattle. I mean I can drive two miles down the road and eat something that will make me this happy? How lucky am I?! I've been meaning to try this place for years, as a friend told me long ago that it was one of the best fried chicken joints in Seattle (she wasn't lying). After having a couple IPAs (classic Seattle behavior) at Phinney Station, we decided it was time to enter The Fried Chicken Palace. For an establishment with flavor so grand, the restaurant itself is unassuming. But I assure you, you're in for the time of your life. If it's your first time here, I'd recommend asking the staff for help. My friend and I are hefty consumers of fried delicacies, and we were ready to order an abundance of birds. We were gently guided towards only ordering one thigh and a side each. I'm glad we did, because these must have been made from chickens that were Olympic power lifters. Those thighs were MEATY. The thigh is the perfect level of juiciness. The crisp on the outside is everything you want for fried chicken. If you get the spicy version, there's a nice coating of spice-dust and I believe some hot honey. The pancit was a very nice addition (noodles with fried chicken? Love it). But you gotta get the crispy potatoes. I'm not sure how they made these, or what they are seasoned with, but they are incredible. It's not often that I'm satisfied with sauceless potatoes, but these really don't need any accompaniments. I've heard they sell out fast here. So you better run there when it opens.

    Breast skewer, wings, and potatoes

5 star solely on the fried chicken. Delicious, crispy, flavorful, moist. It's a crisp that can't be matched. I must say it might be my favorite fried chicken place in all of Greater Seattle Area! So definitely worth the trek, the line up, and the wait. Now to the not so great, but got going to get knicked stars. There are a few other side options that were enticing. We tried a majority of it, including the potatoes, the pickles, the rice with stew... none of them came even close to coming close to how good the chicken was. So a financial tip and a waist saving tip would be to pass on all the sides and just get extra chicken. No chicken parts can go wrong. All just super delicious. We were first in line, so we had the choice of everything on the menu, but still had to wait about 20 minutes to get our order as there was a ton of preorders that is placed the night before and the morning of. During the time we were eating, a ton of the items became sold out. The first things to be sold out are their giant whole wings, and their mochi cake. And man their mochi cake was Devine. I wish I couldve gotten more. Definitely eat the chicken fresh, and order more of the chicken and more mochi cake, as the orders might be slow if you have to put in a second order. I really wish I ordered a few more butter mochi cakes, and more wings, and another skewer. Nom nom nom! A drooling two thumbs, way up high!

    The Stick and Drum!
    Fionna L.

This is Seattle's only Filipino fried chicken restaurant! The cashier was very bubbly and kind. There are 6 small tables inside that seat 2 people each, but most people did takeout. Street parking is possible but limited. I loved the drum and the stick was the best breast meat I've ever had - so tender, with a Rice Krispies texture. I personally prefer when the batter sticks more to the meat. It was $16 which was steep but filled me up. Things I learned: - Preorder on their website to get what you want before they run out! There is a 17% service charge. - "Pick-up time" actually means check-in time because when you arrive, they will announce your order number and start frying your chicken to deliver it fresh to you. - They use free-range and organic chicken from Draper Valley Farms, and their batter (and entire menu) is gluten-free. Love this! - The "comfort room" at the back is a restroom with a cassette deck and cassettes you can play! - Their front door does not close unless you force it shut. Really appreciate the cashier who repeatedly went to shut the door every time someone went in and out. - This is the dream restaurant endeavor of 2 long-time culinary school friends. I'm happy to have supported The Chicken Supply!

    Monggo Beans & Rice
    Samuel S.

Okay, this chicken was seriously so good. Some of the best I have had in Seattle and the pieces of chicken were massive! I recommend the drums, best of the menu. Aside from the chicken, I tried the Monggo Beans and Rice. Unfortunately, it was pretty bland. The restaurant has a pretty small eating area, so my friends and I ordered takeout and ate at their house. But the restaurant did have a nice vibe inside. All things considered, my five friends and I decided on a group rating of 4/5 stars. One thing is for sure though, I will be back for those drumsticks.

    Sabrina H.

The fried chicken here is pretty good here; juicy and flavorful with crispy skin. However, the true star of the show is their cold pancit side where the noddles are perfectly coated in a mixture of soy and lemon and it is THE perfect complement to fried chicken. I wish I could get the recipe for this dish as I would make it all summer long. The right amount of tanginess and acidity to accompany some juicy chicken. The garlic rice was just ok... not enough garlic. You pay at the counter and it does get pretty crowded and the seating options are a bit chaotic since sometimes, it gets so packed that there isn't any room. Also, since you have to order every piece of chicken individually, I kind of wish there were "combos" where things are pre-paired so it takes the mental work out of trying to determine exactly how many pieces of chicken and what part you want. I can also see the benefit of ordering each part and piece though.

    House hot sauce
    Cardin N.

It's been awhile been the fried chicken is still my favorite in the state! Love love love the chicken. The new $41 box is a good amount of chicken for 3-4 people. Bought an extra house made hot sauce as well since it's so good. McKenna was super awesome handling the busy traffic and providing great service! Not a to. Of seating but we did get a table and ate there! 5 stars!!!

    Crispy Potato
    Tori Z.

Crispy chicken and potatoes, can't go wrong with that! I enjoyed both the traditional and spicy rubs. The drumsticks were probably my favorite of the options. Try the banana ketchup with the potatoes! To eat here you actually have to order the night before and choose your time, if you wait until dinner time they will be all sold out already. Inside is simple but nice. There is counter service for drinks, condiments, and of course picking up your pre-ordered items. Overall, it's a bit annoying to have to order in advance, but if you do, you won't regret it.

We ended up at the bar and honestly it worked out perfectly. Our bartender was friendly, engaging and just made us feel right at home. Another staff member came through at some point and was equally as kind. The service all around was great. Now let me talk about the food because that cabbage had no business being that good. I know that sounds random but it was my favorite thing and I did not see that coming. The mac and cheese was delicious, the fried chicken was really good, and my husband was all about the rice and black eyed peas (surprisingly). I also ordered a non alcoholic drink and even though I cannot remember the name it was really good too. The only minor thing was that one of the items, I think it was the hush puppies or cornbread, came out a little lukewarm. They mentioned it can be hard to keep that particular item hot, and flavor wise it was YUM so it was not a dealbreaker. Everything else comes out fresh as it's cooked so just know timing can vary by dish. It did get crowded toward the end and they politely let us know people were waiting outside. They handled it with so much grace it did not feel uncomfortable at all. I will definitely be back. Already curious about what will be on the menu next time.

We didn't have a reservation, but after about a 10-minute wait, we were lucky enough to snag two seats at the bar. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The seating seems intentionally designed to bring people together, and you could see it in the mix of large groups, couples, and even solo diners. Like the name, it had a "communal" energy that made the space feel alive and intimate. The hostess, bartenders, and our waitress were all phenomenal. They were attentive and easy to talk to. Also, the playlist was good. It really added to the overall experience. We started with the sweet potato hoe cakes, and they were absolutely amazing. I loved the texture. They were soft, pillowy, and balanced. They weren't too sweet, even with the honey butter. I wish I'd ordered more to go because I haven't stopped thinking about them. I'll have to try recreating them at home. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed trout, and this is where things really took off. It's a whole fried trout stuffed with a seafood dressing (shrimp, catfish and oysters), and it immediately caught my eye on the menu. I'm not used to eating whole fish, and I don't think I'd even had trout before, but this dish was mouthwateringly good. The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The béarnaise sauce really set it off. There were so many layers of flavor and texture, and everything just worked together perfectly. On top of that, the presentation was stunning. I posted it on my Instagram story and immediately had people asking where my food was as from. This meal was very memorable. I have zero notes. The ambiance, food, music, and service were all top-tier. Side note: There is a 5% "communal" surcharge added to every bill. The money is used to support staff benefits, the support staff, and the line cooks. This is separate from the gratuity. This surcharge is clearly explained on the menu, and I really love and appreciate the transparency and that they care about the employees. But yeah. Super good. We love a good meal and we damn near left there skipping.

Friendly service, but nothing over the top as they simply took orders and brought it fresh. They brought pickled radish out with the chicken which is standard, but the radish was very fresh, meaning they were harder, sharper in flavor, and not as flavorful as a result of not being pickled long enough. Starter Set - we opted for mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fries. Would love to see sweet potato fries here (another spot in CapHill proper does offer them) but love this combo for variety. Crinkle cut fries were tasty, nothing special. Mozzarella sticks were nice but lacked a cheese pull. Onion rings were the star of the trio, crispy, sweet, and totally delicious. Soy Garlic Chicken - half orders are about 10 pieces and full orders come with around 20, sometimes more. Chicken was juicy, tender, and sauce was just right. Great flavor! Similar to the Shoreline location, while the wings are a decent size, I feel that many Korean fried chicken spots have larger wings. Still tasty, but feels less competitive in the heart of Seattle.
