    Hot honey and Cookie's Classic
    Phoebe C.

Huge chicken to sandwich bread ratio! The classic was a little bland so I should've ordered some sauce with it but the hot sauce on the side was good. Mash potatoes and mac and cheese was ok nothing too special. Place was huge with lots of seating and gotta buss your own tables. Service was good, just friendly cashier

Chicken was incredible, i preferred the strips over the sandwich. French.\nFries or great as well... One of the best parts , however , was the ambience and friendly staff... The one down was it the area of seeing a bit sketchy.

I've been to this location during different iterations from Radici, D & E Pioneer Square and now Cookie's Country Chicken. I've always enjoyed my meals in this space. CCC is no different. I ordered the 2 piece tendies, fries with a side of pot o' gold - mashed potatoes, corn and gravy, which was comforting. The tendies were crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. Fries were well seasoned. The chicken is cooked to order. Generous servings, delicious food and great location.

Cookie's Country Chicken is a great addition to the fried chicken scene in Seattle. I thought the inside was really cute and there's a good amount of seating for people to sit down and eat. It's a nice Fried Chicken spot that I will definitely go back to. You'll have to look for street parking and it was back in angle in front of the store. I am definitely coming back for this chicken based off of the flavor, juciness, and crispyness. Staff: Really Nice (5/5) Sanitation: Relatively Clean (4/5) Family Meal (5/5) The family meals comes with 12 pieces of fried chicken (dark meat), I'm not sure if there was an option to get white meat but I like dark meat anyways so I didn't mind. It also comes with a basket of chicken bites which were crispy as well and 2 Large sides. We got Mac N Cheese, Fries and Mashed taters. I think my favorite side was the Fries which were super crispy but still a good soft potato on the inside. Next would be the mashed potatoes with brown gravy, the large side was 3 scoops of potatoes but I wish it had just a tad bit more gravy. The Mac n Cheese was cheesy but the noodles were a bit more cooked than I liked. The Fried chicken was super juicy and flavorful. We got the 1st spice level which I thought was good but I would definitely want to try the other options to see how they taste as well. Between the family meal and additional large side it came out to about $95 but it was more than enough food.

This is my favorite fried chicken place in Seattle. The staff is always friendly and the ambience is quaint. Update: I got the chicken sandwich this time. I got it with haberno. Not spicy. The bun is too soft so it gets mushy and slips off. But flavor good.

This is my girlfriend and I go-to spot before a mariners game. Love their chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. They come out hot and crispy and make great baseball watching food, much better than the tenders they charge $20 for inside the stadium. The chicken bowl looked just like the KFC one but bigger and better.

The fried chicken tasted crispy plus you can choose 2 sauces. I ordered takeout and it came out fast, about 10 minutes! Despite how small the store looked outside, there are plenty of tables inside.

Quick service. Must bus your own table. Got the dark meat chicken thigh for $4ish after tax and tip. Got it at 3 of 4 spiciness. Good enough for me. My friend got 4 of 4 and he was sweating and delusional. They can also up it to 5 of 4 for maximum spicy. Many benches inside and a couple outside.

    Slawsome Chicken Sandwich

Great chicken sandwiches! My favorite is the Slawsome: huge juicy fried chicken breast, sauce, and slaw. Fries are crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Everything's served piping hot. Friendly service, large portions, and reasonably priced.

Some of the best chicken in the state.

Saw a reel on social media and I had to try. Did not disappoint. I tried the 3 piece combo with 2 sides. Awesome value. Had mac and cheese, mash taters with gravy, delicious. The coleslaw was a disappoint. It was supposed to be vinegar based, I assume since no mayo. It had no flavor at all. Might have been an off day. I look forward to going back and upping my spice level.

We had a layover at king station. We decided to run over and grab a bite. We were not disappointed, we were actually blown away to find this good of a meal. Don't judge a book by its cover, when you see the Location and the outside it's not in the best part of town. It does have parking out front and a nice bathroom. We ran through her twice, it was so good we grabbed some on our way back. The staff both times were super friendly even calling our baby by his name. We enjoyed our layover and will definitely be back!

The glorious, delicious mess that is the poutine bowl.

I had passed Cookie's Country Kitchen many times before I finally got to try it. Usually it was too early in the morning, but I'd looked at the menu in the window and scoped out what I wanted to try. This evening, the stars (and buses) aligned, and I finally got in. I walked into an open and warmly inviting space with several tables and a counter at the far end. I was greeted with a smile and an invitation to take my time. She asked about the book I was reading while I perused the big menu board. I admit, I was tempted. The chicken sandwiches look amazing. I wavered...but then I remembered. The Poutine Bowl was what I was there for. She smiled when I ordered and said "Oh yeah, that's good." Ten minutes later, I confirmed it - she was right. So very good. My picture only captures the top couple layers. Within the bowl are big pieces of tender, boneless fried chicken, over a layer of delightfully gooey, melty cheese curds, over yet another layer of crispy fries. All covered with just the right amount of rich gravy and flavored well. The Canadians might have invented poutine, but Cookie's might have just perfected it. A couple words of advice, if you're going to try the poutine bowl too. Get a fork - it may be possible to eat it with your hands, but I'm but actually not 100% sure about that. Get some napkins, because even with a fork it's probably going to get messy. And if you can, try to take your time. It's a lot of food, and worth savoring. It might have taken me a while to try Cookie's Country Kitchen, and already I can't wait to go again. Maybe I'll even eventually get one of those sandwiches.

The fact that this is gluten free (which is fantastic for all GF folks in our family) is even more Amazing how they got everything right with the crunch and flavor. Potato skins and garlic rice were good too, though less garlic would have been better. Could easily make this into a garlic egg fried rice and larger portions. The staff were super attentive and took time to explain everything to first time visitors. Steady stream of take out orders as seating is limited. Would come back to try the other sides too. Happy to report no reaction for gluten free member of our family, top marks for safety.

Our order was waiting for us and the front staffer was nice and friendly. The restaurant is spacious with a homey, kitschy vibe and the front wall of windows were wide open. On a hot summer day, this would be a nice, airy place to eat in. We might eat there next time. 10 minutes later we were home and looking forward to digging into our chicken! We split a Large Bag o' Bites which were crispy, savory, and delicious breaded chicken breast pieces. We also got the three piece combo: two drumsticks and a thigh. We got everything non-spicy and found it all to be delicious, moist, and crispy. I am especially grateful that Cookie's makes their fried chicken WITHOUT DAIRY since I have a hard time digesting milk protein. Thank you, Cookie's for a filling and delicious dinner of fried chicken. We will be back!

Cookie's was a let down, I'll start out with that. I had all the hope in the world that this place…read morewas going to wow me, but alas, it was not to be. I'll start with some positives: you can order directly on their website (as opposed to being forced to use some fee-heavy service like DoorDash), they're quick, and the Barn Burner sandwich was good. Now for the cons. Either they messed my order up or I was the fool here and screwed up when ordering online, but the four piece tendies I got were plain and utterly spice-less. Being a pepper head and spice fiend, this was a bummer, but it forced me to see that the chicken wasn't seasoned very well. Outright bland one might say. The chicken also had a kind of toughness to it. Not from being really dry or anything, but more from the raw cuts of meat not being trimmed correctly, like I was eating bits of tendon or something. Hey when I order tendies I thought that was cutesy-short for tenders not tendons! They weren't bad, but they were not very good either. The Barn Burner sandwich was decent though, and at a level three of spice, it had a nice heat. I'll give them another chance down the road, but ultimately, in a city that has so many great fried chicken options (Triangle Spirits, S/T Hooligans, and Sisters and Brothers), it's going to be hard to make the decision to choose them again after the meal I had.

Even the salsas did not help with the blandness. Now I usually get the 2 piece chicken meals. The bone in chicken has way more seasoning than the chicken they chop up & put into the bowls! Way more tasty. I've tried a few sides and the main sides I get is corn with flour tortillas. Now for the sides I don't like. The mac & cheese is terrible - tastes just like the type you would find in the Safeway or grocery store deli except with way more fake cheese. The mashed potatoes are meh - reminds me of kfc but worse. The rice is instant rice so there's that. I hope they change their rice to actual Mexican style rice one day. The churros are good!
