FOOD ORDERED FROM DOORDASH I had walked by this place and was interested by the name alone. I saw that they did smash burgers which is my favorite type of burger from a local spot so I decided to give them a try later. I ordered a burger and fries from DoorDash. Nothing fancy simply the double smash and large fry. I thought the smash burger was really good. Packed with flavor and the cheese was incredible with the crisp meat lace surrounding the outside. I could for sure see myself getting this burger anytime I am in the Seattle area. The fries on the other hand were not very good. They had kind of a weird chemical taste to them. Not like poison or anything but almost a mix of frozen fry oil and old frying oil. Just very much felt like frozen fries that someone would get from Sysco. I don't know if that is what they are or if they are made for Secret Burger kitchen directly but unless you really like fries with your burger, you can probably skip them. Passed by this place a few times getting off of work just across the street. I saw a reel on Instagram and decided to try it out, and it was so tasty! The burger patty was really soft, and it tasted like it's handmade and not from a frozen patty. I got the hot honey glaze and it hit the spot so good. Ok, so Secret Burger Kitchen is AMAZING! We stumbled upon this hidden gem, and WOW...SO YUMMY! Typical smash burger type thing, but like waaaaay better. One friendly employee did walk my order to my table, but other than that there's really no service to tip for. This is fast food and you're mostly interacting with a computer. Serving the "large" side of sauce in a plastic syringe is an odd idea. Can't imagine who came up with this. They seem to really want to franchise and I think this will have to be reconsidered. I definitely recommend looking at the menu online ahead of time if it's your first visit because there are so many delicious options. You can order online, or via the kiosk in the restaurant. They also have chicken wings/tenders, a variety of sauce options, milkshakes, and a few dessert options. On this initial visit my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered the ECP B&W (Burger & Wings) Box w/Fries. This option lets you choose between a classic smash burger or chicken sandwich, 4 wings in your choice of flavor, fries, and a sauce syringe. I got the burger (no lettuce, no tomato, add grilled onion and grilled serranos), hot honey wings, fries, and garlic sauce. I did the ranch syringe and added a side of garlic sauce to try. That syringe is HUGE, it's more than enough. You can't do all drums or all flats for an extra charge, I do wish that was an option. As a pepper lover I appreciate that they offer jalapeño, habanero, and serranos as toppings. I got stuffed 75% into the burger and one wing in haha. My friend ordered the Impossible Attitude Adjusta Jerk Burger and she loved it. Changing my 5 star review to a 1 star review due to inefficiency of staff. Ordered online to pick up on my lunch break from work. Arrived to store to pick it up only to find it had been served to a group of drunk kids. The order required a total remake and delayed my pickup by 20 minutes (I get a. 30 min break) The staff did apologize but said "they claimed your food" blaming the drunks-.....if only there were employees to double check these things? LOVE SBK. First found this gem a couple of weeks ago and have been back multiple times since. The smash burgers are tasty with a perfect amount of zip and char but stay juicy. The potato buns are a pleasant change from the standard fare and the customization options allow each of us to dial in our personal level of heat. The menu even offers GF options if you're so inclined. Only thing that I miss from the menu is tomatoes as a topping choice. My kids prefer SBK fries because they're a good size and have both a crunchy outer shell and a soft inside. The music playing in the restaurant is always something we enjoy and is loud enough to bop to without being too loud to have a conversation at the same time. Each time I've been in the restaurant, we've been warmly greeted as we enter and sent off with a friendly "Thanks. See you next time!" as we've departed. I can't recall the last time I ate at a similarly small burger place and had a manager stop at the table to ask about our experience. SBK stands out. Nita was working the front register every time I've come in, so it obvious that the staff likes working here and she's always extremely helpful and happy to have our business. 10/10 definitely and emphatically recommend SBK for a tasty and filling meal. read more

First off, I have to praise the team at SBK. So helpful and several od them stopped by multiple times to enquire about the food. Never experienced that in a fast food establishment! The restaurant was spotless, including the bathroom and water/cutlery station. Now the food. I've had smashbugers in California but not here, and I don't have a frame of reference when it comes to pounds (I'm a gram and kilos kinda person). So choosing between à 1/3 or 2/3 pound burger stumped me. So I decided to go with the "double double" or thé signature 2/3 burger with sautéed onions and pickles. In a word: delicious! Generous amount of pickles, balanced toppings, fluffy and flavorful bun, and juicy patties, no dried out hockey pucks here! The only complaint would be that the ratio of meat to bun is off. So much of the patty hangs off the bun that you have to nibble around it until you get to the bun. But the burger is very flavorful and extremely juicy (I probably used 4 napkins). Fries are also delish. Hot, crispy, soft interior and a great spice on the exterior. I went at lunch and still wasn't hungry at dinner time. Next time I'll try a single patty.
